@ all of the elements in the traditional zurkhaneh existed before islam.

@@Tirajisthere is no written documents or historical finds to prove any of this. But one fact remains is that the tradition became a place for resistance against Arab occupiers and therefore lots of Shia stories andclegends were born in that "pit" they exercised.

it's an AOE attack tactic with swords. the warrior would have 1 sword in each hand and do the whirlwind to take out many enemies at once.

poura-ye Vali has been attributed to Pahlavān in Iran died 1322 CE.
