- This is the original Arthur Morgan Tribute that was accidentally deleted by me at 500k views. Someone tried to upload it as their own but I got it back. This has been specially uploaded for all those who liked the original better than the remake :)

I beleive Arthur morgan is the best character rockstar has ever made
But they didn't just make him a game character the gave him a personality they made us feel upset when he passed away but most of all they made him a man apart from the shady stuff robbing and murdering he had morels he was loyal and respectful maby not to the right people

100% agree, Arthur Morgan is an absolutely brilliant character, without a doubt the best in the game, in fact he makes this god damn game. What were you thinking killing him off rockstar smh, he could of gone on so much further in future game’s. I’m gutted tbh.
I 100 percent agree, Arthur is definetly my favourite game protagonist of all time honestly.
In my opinion, it goes with Arthur 100% but Dutch also deserves some recognition. The way his mind worked and the corruption of power showed us a great picture that power can corrupt those who were seen as high and mighty. This affected everyone around him and those that followed him. Later he realises this as he stands upon a dying Arthur and takes into account what he has become for which he can no longer be the good person who he wished to be

Seeing John die was like the strike of a match and no one thought overly that much of it, we were sad but not crying, seeing a younger him with his family and how it tore him as much as Arthur to see him die about 14 years later and it's even more sad

When you visit Arthur’s grave, with good honour. The little detail of the bald eagle resting on his gravestone really is nice. It’s completely suited to how Arthur was free, but rather than being evil, he was noble. Like an eagle.

I think when arthur said “I gave you all I had” is when Dutch realized how much he messed up
But Dutch continued to stay with Micah for a couple more years. I don’t think he really realized it until John came back to get revenge

MoistyBread when you’re at that cutscene in the mountain John asks “what are you doing here, Dutch?” And Dutch replies “ Same as you I suppose” implying he came recently to kill Micah maybe he was just using the Dutch charm on Micah before killing him.
@@youngnat if thats the case my guess is that Dutch was teaming up with him again, and he killed him because he felt like if he didn't, John would have gotten revenge on Dutch too.

I've never cried to the ending of a game but after playing RDR2, that changed. I teared up because I bonded and connected with Arthur. Rockstar did an absolute AMAZING job with this.
Arthur is an example that no matter where you come from, or how you used to be, you can change and better yourself
Everyone should be inspired by his tail of resilience, betrayal, loyalty, friendship, courage and kindness. He died a friend, outlaw, brother and helper. I can only hope that I become like him and so should many others. We all love you Arthur Morgan

This story really helped me during a bad part of my life. This story helped me in a way I can never say thank you enough for making it.
Arthur thought me so much about the importance of loyalty to what matters and giving everything all you got. Arthur had lost so much in the end. His father and mentor, his family, his love, his horse, himself. He stayed strong through all of it and that is what makes him so great, he will never stop trying even nearing his own demise he gave it all he had and knew he wasn't going to win his duel with the man in the black robes

It’s just sad, it’s always the best protagonists that get killed off. Same thing happened with John Marston at the end of the first game when he got gunned down by the sheriffs. Red Dead Redemption and Red Dead Redemption 2 are the only video games that have made me cry at the endings 😔

The two that get me is when he tells sister, "I'm afraid" because you can tell his entire character changed because he knows that his road is coming to an end but blocks it out as much as possible but knows it is still there. And the other statement is when he was standing next to Tilly and she is about say that she is going to miss him, and he cuts her off.

My 9year old daughter sat beside me while I played this. The story had us on the edge of our seats and when Arthur died we both squalled like babies. Still love this game and still playing it

I started this game and didn't know how much it would make me cry and absolutley realize so many things. When I think about it I still cry sometimes.
This game was the first game to EVER make me cry over a character I’ve felt so connected to and having Autism for me really made me feel shot having this tribute bring back all those memories from the past events. Thank you Arthur Morgan for being the connection to many people. Your story will never be forgotten

Arthur Morgan is the greatest character I’ve ever seen in any fictional story. It is a true masterpiece of writing. Never in my 26 years of life have I ever felt a non existent characters pain. I will admit and never be ashamed I was mentally broken for a couple weeks after seeing Arthur die on the top of that mountain.
The “I gave you all I had, I really did” will be the saddest quote I will ever hear, I will always be reminded of this game, the best I ever played.

for me, its quite simply the "Thank you" to the horse. I didnt take Buell, i went to the north 20 min into chapter 2 and got me a white arabian, and named it Artax(I grew up in the 80s). THat last mission is GOD TIER assault on the feels

Ive lost uncles aunties my grandad close friends and family went through a very rare and shitty childhood so i found solace in games and it made me cry for the first time in years i was stress eating and sleeping i refused to do anything didnt touch my console for weeks because this fictional character reflected so many bad and fucked up things ive been subjected to and done in the past and it taught me how to forgive myself and keep going and the lesson that no matter where you are even if you are in a room full of people that you can still be alone and since knowing that i have pushed away many people in my life and only surround myself with people who know that same lesson humble and real people its sad theres not too many of them tho

Everytime i see Arthur helping someone close to him, I tear up. Everytime I see Arthur’s Death, or him having fun, I cry. It hurts so much he’s like my great grandpa or my brother... they are the most important people to me, and for a character I’ve been playing as for 6 months since I first played RDR2, makes me cry for the first time in around 6 years, that means something. I thought I lost emotions to my great grandma’s death... but now after playing RDR2, they’ve come back.

WeebMaster 69 this game taught me that no matter what life puts you through be strong for the ones that love you the most and they will love you until the day you die and don’t beat yourself up from all the bad that you did be proud of all the good and learn from the bad and always do what’s right

Its maybe a bit late but i just completed RDR2 and it was without a doubt the best game i've ever played,
at the beginning i always had low honor but then Arthur talked about how he wanted to be a good man so i started helping people and stayed low honor, but at the last mission with Arthur when he died i saw the deer en that made me cry so hard a game never felt so real, Arthur was one of the best characters in any game, i just wish i could wipe my memory and experience the end of this game again.
