    Thank you so much for these ideas and tips. I have some granny squares but ran out of yarn and can't find yarn label nor notes, so making a scarf out of them is is great way to use them. I love your "stained" glass granny squares. I am going to make one to use my leftovers, after I finish my current project. Gracias again.

    You could make a choker just by adding more squares to the bracelet or a pair of earrings with one little granny square. Well done. Another great tutorial. Thank you.

    You look amazing. The peach color is yours! You could have your own TV show. Great makeup and clothes. Also, I love your tutorials. You are so much fun to follow and I have had perfect success with every item. I made your hat pattern over and over. My only suggesstion that makes it better for me is not make the brim as wide because it stretches too much, so I'm making the brim smaller. You are so full of life and star qualities that I always feel uplifted by the end of your tutorials. Thanks for offering you time and talent.

    How much yarn do you need to make a 4 inch 4 color throw. Approximate would even be a help.

    • @JaydaInStitches
      @JaydaInStitches  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi! I'm not sure what you mean by a 4" throw, but, here is how I make estimates:
      To get an estimate of how much yarn you'll need for a project, you need to know a things: hook you're using, yarn weight you're using and how big you intend it to be. Size 4 medium weight yarn & a 5.50 mm (I/9) generally = 8 dc to 1 yard of yarn. A 4 row granny square made using this yarn and hook size has roughly 120 dc sts in it. 120/8 = 15, so you can estimate that per 4-row granny square, you'll be using 15 yards. Always over estimate or buy an 1 or 2 extra skeins 😊

    • @AnnCoen-xg1dt

      Thank you--you have helped me so much. I have made one throw so far and have now started on my second. Your tutorials are fabulous.

    @lashaydavis8593 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    JaydaThe granny square scarf is a great idea. :)
    I was wondering how
    many squares does it take to make this? I will definately will try this for my future projects.

    • @JaydaInStitches
      @JaydaInStitches  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Lashay, it depends on how long you want your scarf to be and how big you want to make your granny squares (which will effect the width). Also, what hook and yarn size you've chosen too :) Once you've made your first square and measured it, you'll have a good idea how many more squares you'll need in order to finish your scarf. Keep your measuring tape handy :)
