It seems weird to me the way you have your hand that you are catching a bunch of hair. Every time I've ever seen someone cut hair, they have their palm facing down, but yours is facing up when you use your fingers to hold the hair. Is there a reason, or is it just a preference?
I think it gives me a better angle, less strain on my wrist, but you can use both ways, I think this way is more popular among hairdressers than barbers tho, I use both ways, it just all depends on what cut I'm doing or what technique I'm using
That males a lot of sense actually. I just tried to pretend to do it both ways and it does feel more natural/comfortable the way you hold your hand which im sure is very beneficial when cutting hair for a living. Also what makes someone a hairdresser vs a barber?
@@Matt0596 it depends, in some countries there is two different types of education you can do one for barber and one for hairdresser, barbers are normally taught how to do hair with clippers more, and for example in Germany most of the hairdressers are not taught how to cut with clippers, you learn it from your mentor or your self later, I say if you want a good fade, go to a barber and air you want a good scissor cut, go to a hairdresser, I am kind of a mix of everything as I used to do lady hair before also.
f you eat like a pretty princess and not like a piglet, your food gets stuck in it less ☺ also clients say that beard helps with thermo regulation, its actually less warm with a beard in summer ☺
If I'm using thinning scissors, doesn't mean I'm thinning, the result doesn't look thin, it grows out nicer this way and the haircut holds shape longer, so, also if you want to grow the hair our, thinning isn't always the best option, but it all depends on the hair and on what the person wants 😊

Why so much thinning? Doesn’t even look like he he’s super thick hair or wants to grow it out!

Beard should have been cut way back. Doesn't look good bushy. Very short beard is a better look
