Blood is thicker than water, but Iman is thicker than blood . You can feel it when you enter in islam fully.
Asalam Alaikum. Put that way, in just one sentence, it is just ANOTHER dogma, punishing those, struggling for a justified distancing from relatives, especially parents, whose behaviour is sick, damaging to themselves AND others.
It is no wonder, nowadays, there's so many people struggling with the commandment
HONOR THY PARENTS.
I feel if you are in genuine danger and cannot possibly confront an abusive family member or spouse you should have the right to cut ties. Like brother Nouman said you have to put boundaries, sometimes even those boundaries are not respected if the person already has no humanity or does not care about you or your well being. Certainly there must be exceptions. God is Merciful and He is Just. Jzk brother Nouman wonderful speech. I always learn a lot and your khutbas bring me back to reality. May God guide you and reward you for all the good that you do and forgive your sins.
I wish i could make my family members watch this khutbah.. everyone hates everyone here..no one understands anyone..they keep blaming each other ..not talking to each other ..and the list goes on and on
"You're going to be enemies to each other because of the devil"
The same as in surah Yusuf ayah 100, Yusuf alaihisalaam said to his father, Yaqub alaihisalaam, "Shaytaan has induces (estrangement) between me and my brothers."
Look at this beautiful connection. Yusuf alaihisalaam didn't blame his brothers after what they did, he alaihisalaam knows that it was all the trick and deception of shaytaan.
Wallahua'lam bishawab.
I used to confuse when reading that ayah in surah Yusuf like I know shaitan will always whisper something bad to human but why did he immediately blame shaitan on that sibling rivalry thingy that going between them?

After several attempts of reunion, I finally failed to bring ourselves together. And unfortunately my former wife doesn't allow me to have a glimpse of my son who is just 10 months old. I miss him every second. I know the custody of a kid is with mother initially. However the father suffers a lot

I think you must cut ties with family members who try to physically or sexually abuse you or your children. Or even emotional abuse to an extent where you become suicidal

In 11:1,2, we find,” Alif Lam Raa, ( sounds for the rhythm of the verses of the Sura) This is a Book ( of God’s guidance for the humans) in which His messages ( AAYATU HI) of His orders ( UHKIMAT) are given in, then separately described ( the good deeds and the evil deeds) ( FUSSILAT) given from the One decides about good and evil deeds( HAKEEM) And Who knows every one’s doing of actions (KHABEER).” So, it means that we should all obey His orders given about doing good deeds and avoiding to do evil deeds. In 5:48 also we find that God has ordered us to order between the people with what Allah has revealed( the Quran) and not to follow their desires and ideas, except that which has come to you from the one which is the truth ( from God)( that is the Quran).”.

The people praying do no get in the way of the view. Though if it bothers your mother, she can simply listen without watching the video.
Maybe adjust the camera instead
