Narcissists don't always mind being called out as narcissists. They don't want to be called weak, poor, fake, ugly, etc. But being called a narcissist? That's like being called a human being to them. They don't see a problem with it, it's not an insult.

14:07 Daily reminder that Sssniperwolf (SexySexySniper) literally stole her channel idea from a bigger girl gamer (GirlGoneGamer) then was the main person who went in to destroy her TH-cam channel by accusing her of the very thing Sssniperwolf does so her stealing stuff then destroying the original one she stole stuff from shouldn’t come as a surprise cause it’s literally how she started her career under the Sssniperwolf name lol.
Edit: So you don’t think I’m joking she went from 30k something subs to around 70k subs in a week and a little later over 100k. I watched GGG back then then she was gone in record time because of her.

Tbf, and this is in NO WAY me defending Lia AT ALL, but GirlGoneGamer was literally no better as she did a lot of the same things Lia currently does. In fact, I'd argue that if Lia didn't steal GGG's thunder from her, that she'd be the topic of this video and not Lia.

    • @skylar5257
      @skylar5257 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +39

@@Mateoski97I’d argue differently because we don’t know how Raya’s career would’ve turned out had Lia not been the main pusher in the hate brigade towards GGG. Also that’s why I specified whether she was also taking gameplay or not don’t matter. She started the SexySexySniper brand super obviously mimicking the GirlGoneGamer brand then was the main TH-cam channel that started the hate brigade towards Raya. This is simply a pattern of Sssniperwolf, we’re not talking about who was better or worse, or who was making the better content, GGG didn’t steal her brand. She, however loose you want to use it, was and original content creator unlike the obvious pattern Lia has with building her channel and brand off of the theft of others content. Same thing she essentially did with Azzyland when they started their drama.

As a schizophrenic (schizopaffective depressive type), I understand when your sick mind makes you do horrible things. How I cope with it is doing the best I can to prepare when I'm healthy for when I'm sick. I spend hundreds of hours on this every year. It's kinda appalling to see this narcissist do zero things to better themselves.
Also I have no idea why you shouldn't be able to discuss people's mental conditions. If a footballer breaks his leg people will know. It's the same, if it's obvious to most the leg is broken, we see the bone jutting out. If I'm on a roof turning TV antennas claiming the cosmos told me to, you'd know, I'm probably schizophrenic or an art student.

(The purpose of the forking is to tenderize and infuse seasonings. It cooks faster internally) Toss in a mixing bowl and add a 1-2 teaspoons (or as much as you desire) of onion/garlic powder with salt/pepper. Mix it and let it sit in the fridge for 30-60 minutes. Start cooking your white rice now while preparing the eggs and veggies. It should take 10 minutes or so. I highly suggest blanching the carrots and onions, if frozen in boiling water, before cooking.... Or follow the video.... If you're using fresh peas/carrots, you don't have to blanche them. The steps for the video is self explanatory. Pre-heat pan, coat oil over it, and saute veggies for 1 minute on medium high heat, add your eggs, and cook on high heat for 1 minute, add rice. Stir for 2 minutes on heat and add 2-3 TBSP of low sodium soy sauce (or Light Superior Soy Sauce for authentic brand, but it's not low sodium). Drizzle a 2-3 teaspoon of black vinegar (or rice wine vinegar, light/dark soy mix - 2-4 TBSP light/.5-1 teaspoon of dark soy). Authentic approach Coat pan with oil, pre-heat until ready. Saute onions and veggies for 2 minutes, medium high, and place on the side. Now add your rice and stir it around so it's more even in the pan. Once you're ready, turn the heat to high and slowly mix your eggs all over your rice (don't fast pour). If you drizzle it correctly, you can coat the rice with yellow egg. 😮 Mix the rice while adding the egg so it doesn't stick from the heat. Add your veggies back (add oil if needed because it's sticking) and cook while mixing for 3-5 minutes. Add your soy sauce/black vinegar mixture. Rice is done, set aside. Step 2: Protein Let's make the sauce. You will add 2-3 TBSP of ketchup (or tomato/tamarind paste to sub), 2-3 teaspoons of honey, rice wine vinegar (or regular vinegar), minced garlic, and 2-4 TBSP of low sodium (or Light Superior soy sauce.) Whisk and blend. Ready your meat, pre-heat Pan on medium high (coat Pan with oil) and saute your chicken for 4-8 minutes on all sides till you get a slight browning. Add your sauce glaze and cover 1/3 of the meat. Let it finish on medium high or high heat for 3-5 minutes. Prepare your rice bed, glazed chicken, garnish with sesame seeds and chopped spring onions. Optional touches Instead of grilled chicken, you can mix it with cornstarch and/or egg wash for a light batter. Season it with your onion/garlic/red chili powder in the cornstarch dredge. Deep fry for 8-10 minutes on 350 (F) degrees. While cooking, preparing the glaze, add red chili flakes to it for spicy hit. Use white onions while cooking your veggies for flavor. On a wok with a high BTU burner, the cooking cycles change, more fast paced, and requires lots of tossing, but this gives you the authentic restaurant flavor (wok hay). You'd cook the glaze for 30 seconds, toss your battered meat, and flip/toss while cooking for 2 minutes. Serve on the rice. Drizzle sesame oil at the very end, your chili oil, shaoxing wine, and bean sprouts. Enjoy and please leave a like if you really tried this recipe! 🖤❤"Recipe: Western style Fried Rice w/ Pan-fried Sesame Chicken Ingredients: Food Items - Chicken Breast - White Rice - Eggs - Spring Onion - Peas and Carrots - Garlic - Sesame Seeds Sauce/Seasonings - Low Sodium soy sauce - Black Vinegar (yellow cap) - Ketchup (sub tomato or tamarind paste if despise ketchup) - Honey - Rice Vinegar (or regular vinegar) - Onion/Garlic powder - Salt/pepper - Neutral oil Optional Ingredients (Will cover how to use at the end after main recipe) - Onions - Bean sprouts - Chili Flakes/Spicy Red Chili powder - Cornstarch or Flour (for a battered version) - Sesame Oil - Chili Oil (lao go ma) - Red wine vinegar - Shaoxing wine Cooking Instructions: Step 1: Rice Fork your chicken good and cube it up. 🖤❤"

i have narcissistic personality disorder and i am 100% sure that she has it. She shows every single trait of what untreated NPD can look like. But coming from dealing with it myself i know that she must feel really lonely and unworthy deep down and that’s really saddening. That’s the main part of NPD. she’s doing all this to make up for her low self esteem. she doesn’t have to keep feeling like that and i hope she one day gets help to become better because she’s only going to continue hurting people if she doesn’t

@@RebeccaHeartsJuvia i really have no idea why so many people have such confidence in themselves that they can determine an entire persons personality and behaviour based off of one comment, and they do it all with a holier than thou attitude.
Anyway, my grandmother was a malignant narc (actually diagnosed but was untreated, she also had untreated diabetes which made her rage) and made our lives hell. But because she was a nurse people thought the was the pillar of the community, she managed to convince social services (CPS) that my mother was mistreating my sister and i despite no evidence, and we ended up proving that wasn't the case and she falsified a report (we were trying to escape her and as retaliation she falsified a report) and because she was a "frail old woman" they said they couldn't fine her for doing such a thing or hold her accountable.

soooooo true, sometimes therapy can make narcissism worse because they will start weaponizing therapeutic terms to justify themselves. Also therapists are hearing only the narcissist's side of the story, in which they often paint themselves a victim, so a lot of the time the therapist themselves can start inadvertently enabling their behavior.

I'm so torn on this issue.
I've met several narcissists (diagnosed) and even dated one for a while. They're terribly impenetrable people with whom you have to invest serious time and energy to even catch even the most fleeting glimpse of their true, vulnerable selves. But the one thing that they have in common is that their narcissism is a trauma response. They weren't BORN a narcissist. It was a role that they filled because it protected them from the criticism and assault that they experienced in their formative years.
I work in an academic industry but I also own a liquor store. Due to cost of living issues, theft is at an all time high. I have a recurring issue with a pair of local parents who send their 10 and 11 year old sons to steal alcohol from my store. Due to my local legislation I don't have the right to physically stop them, so I tell them not to be afraid and that I'm sorry their parents are making them do this. I tell them I understand it isn't their choice and that they're still good boys who will grow into good men when they get free.
      But they won't.
I also used to own and operate a pool & snooker hall and I would close shop on Fri, Sat and Sun until 5pm so local homeless and disadvantaged kids could come and shoot some pool and get some free pizza so they'd be influenced by a fun and friendly community instead of their parents and older kids who'd lost their way. The local cops used to pick them up and drop them off. In two years of that program, it completely failed. As soon as they had a bad influence in their lives to drag them down, they took it. They were gone. A couple of them even broke back in and tried to steal money.
It's changed the way I see narcissists. It's so easy to hate them because they're devastating to the people in their lives; they're like whirlpools or black holes of negativity that sew hurt in their wake, but I find it hard to blame THEM. Is there some arbitrary age where we should stop feeling sorry for the children who are victimized and start blaming them for their own actions? If so, what age and why? Or should we pivot our view and start treating these people with rehabilitation in mind so that we can help to break that cycle?
And that's what matters to me; breaking the cycle. People raised through trauma that don't inflict further trauma have admirable fortitude and should be applauded for that. But they're the exception, not the rule... and they need help to get there.
I can't hate SSSniperwolf for being the way that she is. Is she awful? Obviously. Is she responsible? Of that I'm not so sure.

My main issue with a lot of conversations about "narcissism" online is the tendency to talk about narcissists as if they aren't even human, like they are these strange, scary, toxic entities that go around ruining other people's lives 24/7. It's important to remember that a mental health diagnosis, even one as serious as NPD, is not a death sentence for someone's humanity. People will always be capable of growth and change if they really put their minds to it, and it's admirable when someone with narcissistic tendencies is able to self-reflect and acknowledge how their mindset has hurt themselves and others.

Those actually got pretty long. Not the longest, but still pretty long. I hope this one won't get lost somehow. Anyways, let's talk about WAFFLES! I like waffles. Waffles are cool. Waffles is a funny word. There's a Teen Titans Go episode called "Waffles" where the word "Waffles" is said a hundred-something times. It's pretty annoying. There's also a Teen Titans Go episode about Pig Latin. Don't know what Pig Latin is? It's a language where you take all the consonants before the first vowel, move them to the end, and add '-ay' to the end. If the word begins with a vowel, you just add '-way' to the end. For example, "Waffles" becomes "Afflesway". I've been speaking Pig Latin fluently since the fourth grade, so it surprised me when I saw the episode for the first time. I speak Pig Latin with my sister sometimes. It's pretty fun. I like speaking it in public so that everyone around us gets confused. That's never actually happened before, but if it ever does, 'twill be pretty funny. By the way, "'twill" is a word I invented recently, and it's a contraction of "it will". I really hope it gains popularity in the near future, because "'twill" is WAY more fun than saying "it'll". "It'll" is too boring. Nobody likes boring. This is nowhere near being the longest text ever, but eventually it will be! I might still be writing this a decade later, who knows? But right now, it's not very long. But I'll just keep writing until it is the longest! Have you ever heard the song "Dau Dau" by Awesome Scampis? It's an amazing song. Look it up on TH-cam! I play that song all the time around my sister! It drives her crazy, and I love it. Another way I like driving my sister crazy is by speaking my own made up language to her. I'm gonna contribute more to this soon-to-be giant wall of text. I just realised I have a giant stuffed frog on my bed. I forgot his name. I'm pretty sure it was something stupid though. I think it was "FROG" in Morse Code or something. Morse Code is cool. I know a bit of it, but I'm not very good at it. I'm also not very good at French. I barely know anything in French, and my pronunciation probably sucks. But I'm learning it, at least. I'm also learning Esperanto. It's this language that was made up by some guy a long time ago to be the "universal language". A lot of people speak it. I am such a language nerd. Half of this text is probably gonna be about languages. But hey, as long as it's long! Ha, get it? As LONG as it's LONG? I'm so funny, right? No, I'm not. I should probably get some sleep. Goodnight! Hello, I'm back again. I basically have only two interests nowadays: languages and furries. What? Oh, sorry, I thought you knew I was a furry. Haha, oops. Anyway, yeah, I'm a furry, but since I'm a young furry, I can't really do as much as I would like to do in the fandom. When I'm older, I would like to have a fursuit, go to furry conventions, all that stuff. But for now I can only dream of that. Sorry you had to deal with me talking about furries, but I'm honestly very desperate for this to be the longest text ever. Last night I was watching nothing but fursuit unboxings. I think I need help. This one time, me and my mom were going to go to a furry Christmas party, but we didn't end up going because of the fact that there was alcohol on the premises, and that she didn't wanna have to be a mom dragging her son through a crowd of furries. Both of those reasons were understandable. Okay, hopefully I won't have to talk about furries anymore. I don't care if you're a furry reading this right now, I just don't wanna have to torture everyone else. I will no longer say the F word throughout the rest of this entire text. Of course, by the F word, I mean the one that I just used six times, not the one that you're probably thinking of which I have not used throughout this entire text. I just realised that next year will be 2020. That's crazy! It just feels so futuristic! It's also crazy that the 2010s decade is almost over. That decade brought be a lot of memories. In fact, it brought be almost all of my memories. It'll be sad to see it go. I'm gonna work on a series of video lessons for Toki Pona. I'll expain what Toki Pona is after I come back. Bye! I'm back now, and I decided not to do it on Toki Pona, since many other people have done Toki Pona video lessons already. I decided to do it on Viesa, my English code. Now, I shall explain what Toki Pona is. Toki Pona is a minimalist constructed language that has only ~120 words! That means you can learn it very quickly. I reccomend you learn it! It's pretty fun and easy! Anyway, yeah, I might finish my video about Viesa later. But for now, I'm gonna add more to this giant wall of text, because I want it to be the longest! It would be pretty cool to have a world record for the longest text ever. Not sure how famous I'll get from it, but it'll be cool nonetheless. Nonetheless. That's an interesting word. It's a combination of three entire words. That's pretty neat. Also, remember when I said that I said the F word six times throughout this text? I actually messed up there. I actually said it ten times (including the plural form). I'm such a liar! I struggled to spell the word "liar" there. I tried spelling it "lyer", then "lier". Then I remembered that it's "liar". At least I'm better at spelling than my sister. She's younger than me, so I guess it's understandable. "Understandable" is a pretty long word. Hey, I wonder what the most common word I've used so far in this text is. I checked, and appearantly it's "I", with 59 uses! The word "I" makes up 5% of the words this text! I would've thought "the" would be the most common, but "the" is only the second most used word, with 43 uses. "It" is the third most common, followed by "a" and "to". Congrats to those five words! If you're wondering what the least common word is, well, it's actually a tie between a bunch of words that are only used once, and I don't wanna have to list them all here. Remember when I talked about waffles near the beginning of this text? Well, I just put some waffles in the toaster, and I got reminded of the very beginnings of this longest text ever. Okay, that was literally yesterday, but I don't care. You can't see me right now, but I'm typing with my nose! Okay, I was not able to type the exclamation point with just my nose. I had to use my finger. But still, I typed all of that sentence with my nose! I'm not typing with my nose right now, because it takes too long, and I wanna get this text as long as possible quickly. I'll tell you what, as someone who often hates videos that goes into mental health due to either oversimplification or black and white thinking, I LOVE how you explained NPD and the different complexities that go into it. I even love how you explained the DSM since so many people use it like some holy bible and not as a simple guidebook/thesaurus for psychology.
Edit: Also another thing, THANK YOU for calling out all of these channels that aren't liscenced professionals and professionals that are expertise on the topic that is NPD. They piss me off so much.

I can completely understand the purpose of the Goldwater rule and not diagnosing public figures. However, the correlation between her 'off camera' personality (i.e. when she attacked Azzyland) and the things she showcases herself (i.e. the admissions of wanting a cute laugh, wanting to harm people, and the bypassing comments like she wants someone's face) AND her past before TH-cam fame (i.e. the armed robbery and assault) is a LOT of checkboxes being marked.

It took a video by Lindsey Ellis about Loki and the possibility of him being a narcissist to really start to recognize a lot of what she has done to me. I don't know if she has NPD, she tends to avoid doctors especially mental health professionals, but it helped me a lot in understanding the futility of trying to reason with her. The part about constructing your own personality to be more likeable was actually depressingly relatable to me. I don't think i have NPD, but psychologists have said I could possibly have autism. A lot of the time I have to hide what i find natural or good or interesting so that i can fit in, otherwise people will think i'm an idiot nuisance. If I do a bit where i pretend like i can't spell the word "similarly" for example, people will actually think i can't spell that word and treat me worse because of that.
It's really sad because there really is no good outcomes for somebody whose personality won't fit in with the local culture. What are we supposed to do when our environment simply doesn't tolerate our personality? Obviously, for a narcissist or a psychopath, there's probably a good reason why they aren't tolerated, but the point still stands and there are many people who aren't tolerated for unjust reasons. If i'm not accepted i either learn to behave like somebody i'm not or I get comfortable with being an outcast. It may seem dystopian to choose the first option, but that's kind of what we have to do to get by. Again, the alternative is being disrespected consistently.

My partner is on the spectrum.
Masking is a term that describes this learned behaviour to project something unnatural to attempt to fit in. Because you've been made to feel like your genuine reactions, thoughts, feelings, and interests are wrong on some level.
It's exhausting. My partner was called the r slur by his family and other people growing up. He'll often ask me to explain things to him. He knows if he asks me that I'll just explain it and won't mock him for asking, but there's always a lot of fear in his voice when he asks, unfortunately.
I'm really sorry to hear you've learnt to feel like you have to hide what's natural or good. It sucks how built in to living and interacting with each other this stuff is. So that people feel scared to react in a way that is authentic.

longest texts ever" on the internet, and I wanted to make my own. So here it is! This is going to be a WORLD RECORD! This is actually my third attempt at doing this. The first time, I didn't save it. The second time, the Neocities editor crashed. Now I'm writing this in Notepad, then copying it into the Neocities editor instead of typing it directly in the Neocities editor to avoid crashing. It sucks that my past two attempts are gone now. I did. The whole assault thing was kinda just a really good introduction to a discussion about narcissism.
I mean I heard a spoken claim about it from our favorite “person who got copied by sniperwolf” azzy and word that there were 6 victims, but other than that it’s not like they caught her on camera doing it.
Don’t get me wrong I liked the video. I just wish I could’ve seen more proof than a spoken testimony and promises that there were 6 victims who don’t want to be named.

On top of all of that, and despite having her name in the title, this video must be a big middle finger towards her since the vast majority of it is about NPD and not her specifically.

My conclusion (or at least one of them): Sniperwolf admires Azzyland so much but that's a problem because no one can be more admirable than herself, even by herself. To deal with this paradox, she _became_ Azzyland and then tried to destroy her, to make her disappear.
So, if someone like Sniperwolf attacks you and wants to destroy you, take it as a compliment!

I don't see many people actually go into the psychology behind certain disorders like this, I have NPD and have autism and other problems blah blah. I try to be myself but man, especially as a kid i would mirror behavior and pretend to believe certain things so that people would like me, it's very isolating. Masking is one of the most common things in lots of mental illness's, which is sad.
Ppl with NPD or any personality disorder is not inherently evil or bad, I know plenty of people with lots of heavy disorder's who are great people, it's something you need to do a lot of work on. It has taken so so so much time to remember to sit back and not freak out because I made a mistake or lose or that i'm not perfect. Sometimes when I know I'm going to explode I have to immediately leave the area because I don't /want/ to be 'bad'. It's taken work, but I didn't want to be like my mother, who is NOT a narcissist, (she has bipolar, but experiences similar symptoms)
LOTS of mental issues are spectrums. No 'bad person' disorder exists. But so many videos over simplify that shit, and it's often annoying how people will just decide everyone is a narcissist bc they did a bad thing.
Hell, half the time I find the videos where a narcissist is explaining their symptoms much better then the non-experts explaining narcissistic stuff. Someone who is bad or someone who wants attention or someone who is abusive doesn't mean the person is a narcissist by default.
It is a breath of fresh air to see other self aware NPD folks explaining how we work, and it varies depending on person. I very much appreciate you looking at not only professionals but people who have the disorder themselves. One of the first steps to successful therapy and behavior changing is by going "I have this problem, and I need to work on it."
I do not think it's bad to speculate or have theories or what someone has as a disorder, but it's more annoying when used as an insult, I feel it's not too bad of going "this person might have x y z, but I don't know FOR SURE", throwing it around isn't going to do that. I rlly liked Donna's interview in stuff like that
