So amazing how much work went into that mine. It is actually beyond belief that people would go so deed to find, whatever. KUDOS to all who went to crazy depths...
Wow, I did not expect the workings to be that much as you guys went down and kept going and going. Nice mine! It was eye opening to see that water line.
The mine proved to have a lot more to it. Amazing how the miners removed all that material from the decline. The zinc deposits were spectacular! Thank you Gly and Laura for another adventure.
Wow.... Great mine...back to your best explorations .... It does feel like we are with you in there... You need to invent smello & senso vision. Laura great narrative and camera work. Thanks to you both 👍👍
I just can't help it, but every time I start watching one of your videos, I think, "Man, wouldn't it be great if Gly/Laura/Crew could explore the mines of Moria?" (Yes, I'm a Tolkien/Gimli fan. Sue me!) ;-) Still, watching you explore these mines is both amazing, and terrifying! Not for ME, certainly! When you find artifacts, newpapers and such? That brings such a personal touch to them. People worked, lived and died in the making of these things, after all. Thanks for taking us along!
Interesting how the mine has flooded at least once. It seems like it happened very rarely since the wood is still in great shape and hasn't rotted. Water mush have drained really rapidly for some reason when it happened. Shall be interesting to watch the lower regions.
What an awesome explore guys! This mine just keeps on keeping on, it's just endless drifts etc so far. The amount of work those early miners put into these drifts is mind boggling. Stay safe Gly & Laura, all the best from Tasmania. Australia....................
I'm new to your channel. Maybe 2 weeks in. I have been binge watching! I am from Alabama and yet we have our own share of mines, I am just intrigued with the mines out west. My family and I are moving to Oregon this summer and I have discovered they have some too. Thank you for giving me some knowledge about them. More than what I knew. 🙂 Love your channel!
@@tinadelwiche416 I believe so too. I have been once in my life and I am rapidly approaching age 59. I am very "outdoorsy" and am ready to live life to its fullest..
While watching this I was thinking it'll have to be a multi episode! Good call to pass on the stomach crawling Laura. Zero payoff and plenty of mine to explore.
Started out with a lot of support beams. Then it seemed to run out until you guys went down the decline. Wow! That was amazing. Finding that huge hole and then parts of the machine they left behind was incredible. Great job, Laura! 🎉 What a find. Gly, what do you think they were after?
It's almost 2025. We've gone to the Moon, flown on Mars, sent probes to the far reaches of the solar system, got AI computers, but nobody wants to mess with the Tommy Knockers!
I'm praying that nothing bad ever happens to you both and that one day you both retire happily. That mine is so dangerous even for a pro. Not saying Gly or Laura isnt one but sheesh this episode had me cringing and saying "danger Will Robertson!" 😅
At 7.15 of the video on the lower right there appears to be a rod with a small hole passing down the center of it. Is that a piece of more modern drill steel?
Gly, Laura has got it She has more fortitude than I. I don't do small spaces or heights. I know she's not a man but she's got more balls than me. I've lived through your lens since the beginning.
Having a second person in shot reveals the real scale of those amazing spaces.
The thumbnail of Laura looking absolutely terrified is the best! 😂 I just HAD to watch!
What an absolute awesome mine ! Wow😮. Can’t wait for next Saturdays video of this mine . Be safe out there see you both next Saturday! 🙂👍🏼
So amazing how much work went into that mine. It is actually beyond belief that people would go so deed to find, whatever. KUDOS to all who went to crazy depths...
That was a big and nice mine
What a surprise this mine was!!! Can't wait to see the next video on this mine!!
Laura, you’re doing a fabulous job. So happy Gly has an explorer teammate. Gylaura the mine divers.
Brilliant explore. Can’t wait for the next instalment!
It was more extensive than i thought, loving it, keep going. Suspenseful ending.
Wow, I did not expect the workings to be that much as you guys went down and kept going and going. Nice mine! It was eye opening to see that water line.
Bring back the Blue Jeans Laura!!!!
Thirty-ish minutes every seven days have made me week!
Made me day, too, mate!
But wait, there's more 👍
Bring on part 3 .

My type of mine, plenty to explore but no major life threatening obstacles to cross. 👍
Bet it's nice to find a big mine. After many so so mines. Great surprise.
I'm glad you guys decided to go down. There was the majority of the mine down that incline .

Surprise, surprise. Laura your just as ambitious as Gly to learn new things . Love the amazing exploration 😊😊.
another great video !!!
I love exploring mines with you. I know you have the knowledge and experience to explore mines safely. Thank you for sharing your explorations. 🤓
Good video. The incline track looks quite hefty. They were using a fairly large ore cart. 👍👍🇨🇦
Impressive mine, can't wait to see if Laura survived😮
I enjoy your productions and watch them when my clautrophobia is not too bad.
Awesome mine. Can't wait for next Saturday. It would of been funny if Mr. M popped out on the landing 😂❤🎸
That should be called the trash mine
Thanks for the great Saturday explore video. This mine had a surprise around almost every corner.
I need that bucket
I always hold my breath when you both go down these inclines scary stuff😮thanks for another great video ❤

You will love Oregon

I'm preety sure the pump you discussed is a duplex water / fluid pump?
While watching this I was thinking it'll have to be a multi episode! Good call to pass on the stomach crawling Laura. Zero payoff and plenty of mine to explore.
that mine turned out to be huge, was not expecting so much to be open underground.
That was called a "Gooseneck ripping bar". This is an unexpectedly big excavation!

cool
At 13 min into the decent, my thighs started to hurt just as if I was climbing down myself!
Hey, I'm a Patton!
Kool mine.
I like to go down ladders feet first almost exclusively. 😂😂😂
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
When you are pushing a mine cart, you're not standing vertical. You are hunched over pushing it.
2:00 "Is this where erm, the Tommy Knockers live?" lol thanks for that :)

Is it harder to breathe when you get too deep or does air seem to find a way in?
Zincromite maybe Chromium maybe Nickle but No Pickles!!!
That thing filling with water can't be too good for the integrity of the mine! Bad enough on lots of types of rock, let alone timbering!
How safe is this mine???
16:40 what was that voice?
Gly, Laura has got it She has more fortitude than I.

Could they have broken into a cavern?
Let's just say that when you sending the decline both of you have unique center of gravity issues
what happened to the wednesday video ?? i never had a notification for one ??
We're only producing a Saturday episode now so we can get the Adventure Coolness channel up and running.
I definitely prefer when Gly talks more. Not a fan of him trying to stay quiet for the majority of the episode lol
cool
