    Nice, you remind me how good is to build things from scratch. I ordered the front steering part

    Nicely done.. Kudos! It's obvious that the 462 ppl who disliked this video are young kids who never wrenched on a car before because their parents bought them an RTR.

    amazing work finally I can see a perfect model of RWD drift car

  • @brianellison3525

    Nice, did a similar rear section with a 2 Link ridgid swing axle on coils much like a C-10 . Using a Vanquish f9 AR44. It has a Bolink LTO Pro Carbon front half.
    Love your builds, have fun.

    Bro, I just have to say that I admire the hell out of your work, seriously man, I have been through a lot of serious health issues that left me bed bound, as well as addictions, it all started when I was paralyzed in a car accident when I was 18, now I'm 38, anyway I'm off to a new start, I'm just so done with alcohol and drugs, and the only thing that kept me alive was working on my trucks, I know that nobody will truly ever understand me, I turned to RC cars and trucks because it's the only thing I could find that makes me forget all the negative feelings I usually experience every single day, I'm not looking for any sympathy, but I have been watching your videos from your point of view, I haven't found any videos that even come close, it's always some dude talking, which is fine, you actually show us from your point of view that's what makes it so interesting! Thanks man, liked and subscribed

  • @jevries
    @jevries 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    So badass!!! Always wondered: When you switch the car on does a brushless motor still runs freely? Like when you move the car back and forth with your hand does it roll freely?

    • @OliveRC-Addict
      @OliveRC-Addict  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      thanks XD no it doesn't it roll freely, there is always an engine brake with the magnets ;) but most powerfull motor than brushed

    • @jevries
      @jevries 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@OliveRC-Addict Aah, I see. I need the wheels of my RC Lowrider to move as freely as possible so it will hop the best standing still.

    • @brianellison3525
      @brianellison3525 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jevries you need a dig unit, and a rear axle with a differential instead of a spool.
      The dig unit will engage, lock up, or freewheel your rear axle.

    damn that's nice. btw i'm currently making a drift rc from literal scratch, i'm making the frame out of lead and steel wires, everything except the drivetrain and electronics are hand-made. so just hold up a sec for me.
    +and yes I don't have any proper tools since i'm 13

    Pretty rad dude, id give that the driveshaft a little attention, its at quite an angle and it looks the the end going to the gearbox has alot of play, thats gonna rob you of power to the wheels and wear out adjacent components.

    You should be a designer for a major brand or sell your designs to them, maybe even start up your own brand that is high quality

  • @alexulber1209
    @alexulber1209 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Ideally the upper control arms should be 60 percent the length of the lower control arms and the distance of the mounting points at the frame side should be closer together than the mounting points (vertical) at the axle. For this app. what you have is probably fine though.
