Wonderful reminder. So wise, brother. Indeed, choosing one’s friends wisely is a must for Muslims as peer pressure is a real thing and evil people can lead others astray. Also, there is the authentic Narration known as Hadith where Prophet peace and blessings of Allah be upon him said that a man is on the religion of his best friend, so true.

I think you understand the qur'an properly more than many of the muslems themselves .
So in my openion you are better than most of muslems nowadays .
    My best wishes .

    Assalamo alaikom , brother .
I wish you would learn Arabic language . It's a very rich and beautiful language , and it will be of a great help for you to make it easier to interprete lhe qur'an because there are some deep meanings in the qur'an such as in chapter 58 verse 22 when God tells us that those who are believers don't love unbelievers even if they are parents , brothers ....etc. but still we are ordered to treat them well .
Because there is a great deference between treating them well and loving them .
I think you got what I mean .
By the way assalamo alaikom in Arabic means " Peace be on you " .I wish you all the best .
Till we meet again , peace be with you .
    Your brother , Khaled .
