Hi. An electric fan: what a clever idea! This is the first electric fan modification that i see on a nitro RC. Normally, we should not have to do that since a good tuning is supposed to provide enough cooling. However, i bash my eb4 in taller grass and the engine has to work substantially harder and therefire gets hotter. Not the best thing to do with a nitro. But a cooling fan modification like yours could help preventing the engine to overheat and cease. In your build, is the electric fan always on or somehow controlled by a temperature switch mounted on the engine? How efficient is the cooling?

Like body shells .wheels etc which are hard to find you dont know of any by a off chance as i love these cars thanks regards leon keep the vids going. doing diff oil change would be good vid fella please keep up the eb4 love respect thanks again
Thanks. Yeah the EB4's are amazing cars. I think one of the best for sure. They are built so well and strong from factory but will last and last if looked after. There are a few company that sell spares but unfortunatly for Thundertiger as a whoal, genuine spares are now very hard to find as Thundertiger do not exist anymore☹. You can however still find spares on ebay, some are new some are 2nd hand or after market but there are ways to keep them going with these parts.

Going for the big red I've got a hpi trophy nitro I upgraded all diffs from the electric flux hardened steel gear's it's got a lrp 30 spec 2 engine it's a beast
Very interesting review but in some ways very surprising. Most seem to agree the S3 is a way better car than the S2. Rather than not putting any thought into it at all it seems like they put a lot. A narrower chassis to improve balance and CoG and a revised horizontal steering servo position for these reasons too. Also a pillow or pivot ball front setup should give better turn in and steering. Overall the car offers more tuning potential for setup which I guess some like and others don't. I really like both cars but if I had to choose I'd have the S3. I've only recently acquired mine too and it sounds like you got a way better deal than me. I'm sure we agree on some things though. Such as both cars are brilliant and better than a lot of cars available now. And that Thunder Tiger is highly underrated. Great video.
Thanks for your reply. Yeah, its allways going to be down to personal choice but its just from my own experience from having both cars. They are both brilliant though for sure and you are correct about the steering set up on the S3, i forgot to mention that.

Hi Thanks for your video... Just bought a eb4 s2... full stock fairly good condition. The use of a breather car filter for Nitro is km of debates whether it is good or not. I remember you saying you add a foam inside... would you explain or show in a quick video how you do that? I bought a 12mm breather filter... it is massively too big... which one is yours or what would you recommend... thanks very much...
Hi I've been into rc nitro and electric I've just been given a thunder tiger eb4 s3 with no engine do you think the force 28 engine would be good or what other engine might be better i put a force 36r and it smashed all transmission this was years ago i don't want a engine thats going to do the diffs etc because of to much power great video
Hi. Yeah the .36 is a bit of a beast and can be very fussy on tuning but yeah thr Force .28 is a great engine, especially as a replacement for stsndard. Not saying you had it wrong but make sure your gaps between drive train is correct, if its even slightly too big then even the .28 will shred gears, the drive train on the EB4 S3 is not as heavy duty or durable as on the S2. Good luck.😉
Hi. Unfortunatly Thundertiger is no more trading. Any parts for these cars now are either new old stock or 2nd hand. Some parts are available from aftermarket suplyers but not many. Ebay is good for spares but you will be lucky to find much.
Hi. I dont think the S3 tank will fit but you can repair your tank if its not totally broken in half or anything. Best way to re-seal it is to take the tank out and fully clean it of any fuel, then find the cracked area and with a lighter or a very small blow torch you can heat the plastic over the cracked area until it goes like glue/soft and then rub your finger quickly over the area to push the soft plastic back together and that should seal the crack. Just take your time.😉
