Hello again R&D. Thanks for watching (as usual)🤝 I do own an 8L ultrasonic cleaning, however I try to only use it on more delicate parts like carb cleaning. Do you think it would work on abused brakes like this? I may try it on some of my other bits (there are lots). I’m thinking more of a Vapour Blaster cabinet etc etc to shine up the aluminium, but can’t bring myself to buy one and Father Christmas didn’t bring me one$$$$😀 Cheers
@@tomdidit4216 Yep for sure it would work into those crevasses / passages around the brakes you can't see or easily clean by hand. There's always still a need for some manual cleaning after the Ultrasonic but i find it reduces the effort needed. I'm considering upgrading my sandblasting cabinet to vapour however as you say it's the cost that puts me off, however in terms of brining them back to an aluminium shine you can't beat vapour blasting for ease and limited effort needed. Shame father Christmas didn't bring you one, how about you buy me one and i'll buy you one everyone is a winner lol just working out a way i can sell the story for the wife to believe lol
Understood. You may already know- a sand blaster can be converted to a vapour blaster. There are videos on this. It could be a possibility for you? I’ll run your after Christmas idea past my wife and film the reaction🤣🤝… Cheers pal
hey tom I'm about to give my 1998 rs mp a rear conversion to the 2006 py rs and then I was wondering how the fairing is all attached because there is also some clipping can you help me out a bit?
Hi Lukas Thanks for leaving a comment To be honest I’m not quite sure how the fairings will fit across models. it sounds like an interesting project. Good luck👍 Tom
Hi Nikola Thank you for your message. I’m sorry I do not have an IG. Also I’m not too familiar with the Aprilia wiring. Sorry I can’t be of anymore assistance here👍 Tom
Great progress Tom, you should definitely consider an ultrasonic cleaner makes light work of this!

@@tomdidit4216 Thanks Tom i did consider a conversion but i've only got a small cabinet so would ideally use this as an excuse to size up :-)
Excellent video👍🏻
Cheers👍
Thank you great video!
