"Only got halfway threw and commenting" yeah great sound dubbing, and your Dads layout what a work of Railing Art! I hope to start a small U.S layout in my compact Yorkshire cellar, this has give me boost!!! Cheers.
Great video, great layout. I like the Empire Builder & Great Northern Railway. The Great Northern is my most favorite pre merger railroad of all time. I always liked the emblem of the Great Northern Railway.
I've been dabbling in N Scale probably about 30 years now, ( I was 70 last month ) I currently am re building a 15" X 9' Layout roughly based on The Keddie Wye at a time when U P was taking over all the smaller roads. To my shame it's nothing even half as good as this Layout, my humble congratulations. When I see a Layout this good it gives me Goosebumps as it really shows to a Excellent standard of what can be achieved in N Scale. The sound and magnificent camera work must be very satisfying for you and your Dad.A Thousand Thanks for posting. Regards from North Queensland, Australia. Denis.
Outstanding video of the G.N.Ry. Empire Builder ! I never get tired of watching that beautiful train! I am in the process of modeling G,N, along with some S.P.&S. and a little N.P. as well. Excellent sound throughout the entire video! I hope I can get my layout to look a quarter as good as yours! Thank you for sharing! (mike)
Great sounds! N scale has sound now but awfully expensive. The Germans put smoke units in a few of the Arnold Rapido engines that I saw in my 1980s catalog back then. I sold all my Concord and Atlas N scale also. Long before everything had Knuckle Couplers.
What a fantastic Journey in beautiful country. But I see your railroad could have a revenue problem with no passengers, or was this a new equipment move. Thanks I enjoyed your video very much.
A wonderful layout and to think that it's all N gauge is even more impressive, the careful dubbing of real locomotives adds even more realism, a great video to watch and liked..............Graham
It's about 20 feet long by 6 wide, resting along one wall and with the peninsula you see. Mainline run is about 60 yards and the layout is a loop to loop schematic, so long consists never have to be switched. Thanks for your interest!
It's about 40cm radius, a bit tight for streamliners but it works. We never get derailments there. That's the tightest curve on the layout...well spotted!
The NP goes over Stampede pass, not Stevens. Whoever edited this needs to get his areas figured out. The East tunnel portal is NOT after Monroe....the west portal is, and it's at Scenic.
Yes this is all correct, thanks. The portals are correct on the layout in fact. East portal is at Berne, west portal isn't shown in this video. Streamlinedtrains' favourite railroad is the NP and he chose to run an NP train when shooting the video. As you see we do have the Empire Builder too. Thanks for your interest. Streamlinedtrains' dad and layout builder.
I like that the Northern Pacific two tone green passenger train is showcased in this Master Piece . Thank you for sharing.

Fantastic sound synchronization! Never heard it like this before, only on old color movies on TH-cam.
Nicely done. Loved the North Coast Limited detouring over GN lines!
This layout is a lovely piece of work shown by a beautifully put together video. Thank you.

AWESOME, EXCELLENT and PERFECT!!!!! I enjoyed the video. Great job on placing the sounds just right. Thank you for sharing and keep up the good work.
Awesome, well done, congratulations, I always love long trains performing at scale speed.
Very realistic with a good sound from the Loco`s ...first class production
what a marvelous layout! your dad is really talented!
the first train shown in the video resembles the streamliner that spencer tracy came to town in in the film"bad day at black rock"!

Well done. How large is the overall layout?

Random question, at the 3:42 mark what radius is that curve?
