It's amazing how different your weather is than in Piacenza (south east of Milan), my in-laws have been saying that it's gotten too cold already. Wish we were there, it was nearly 80 here yesterday (around 26c).

I love all your energetic and witty ramblings! 🤗. I've made some little stamps but never used napkins...yet! Your tags are lovely. Instead of waiting for the mod podge to dry, can you use a heat gun? Then you won't have to wait! Also, I'm a newbie so I don't understand the reason for labels. Do you add a word later? Sorry...I'm still learning to talk "journaling"! TFS. Michigan girl. ( It's cold and spitting snow here. Brrrr)
I'm sure you can use a heat gun. I just don't have one, lol. Labels for me are decorative but could also be used to add a word for a location, date, feeling and so on. Thank you so much!

Mary Welton I did better than that I grabbed a good murder mystery by J D Robb and my tea went into my bedroom and read all afternoon. My hubby even cooked dinner. Thanks for the kind words. Guess I needed them more than I thought.

Teenagers need to eat! Be thankful she's not a boy. I have a friend whose teenage son (he's grown now) used to eat two sandwiches, chips and a glass of milk an hour before they sat down to dinner - and he cleaned his plate! Her grocery bill was staggering. Another friend used to store snacks in the trunk of her car so her teenager wouldn't eat it all. Love these tags by the way!
I mentioned that in my comment -- my son did the exact same thing -- he was so skinny and ate like a linebacker -- before dinner, eat dinner, then 30 mins later looking in the fridge for left overs (which there usually were none)

Rachel, I'm going to ask you a question. You don't need to respond in the comments or on a video. This is concerning the length of your videos. Believe me when I tell you I understand your anxiety over this issue. I had all of my journals finally finished last night and today I just had to put on the covers, then face the horror of filming -- but because those kittens get into everything -- good thing they're cute -- I have to clean up and put things away when I'm done -- and when I went to put on the covers -- I couldn't find one of the journals -- so I made another one; which was fun, to be truthful, and came out better than the first. Then when I looked inside the folder for the other journal -- there it was -- by now, it was almost 10 PM -- but I didn't panic when I lost it; just said: it's only paper, make another one -- but while I was working on the replacement, I watched this video and your struggle to make everyone happy as to the length. My question is this: before TH-cam, you said you felt so all alone -- for nearly 9 years -- which breaks my heart -- because you had all this art inside of you and no way to express it with others of like minded endeavors -- that is exactly how I feel now -- my best friend lives half the country away in the state of Arkansas; I fear I'll never see her in person again -- I have absolutely no one to talk to about crafting -- except here on youtube, which I love -- there are so many of the kindest, most talented people who take their time -- just like you -- to film, edit and post these videos -- and it's a lot of trouble -- I dropped and broke my good phone, then just bought a cheaper one because at the time I only needed to be able to make phone calls and occasionally text -- I don't go out too often -- so I don't know if my phone will even work for video -- and I have a nice Nikon camera -- except the sound is horrendous -- and they knew it and still sold it -- and there's no place to plug in a mic -- my gut is in tangles thinking about it -- but I have to get these cats fixed and pronto -- my only alternative is to stand out at the intersection at the walmart naked with a big sign: I will put my clothes on for money !!! -- oh, there are scammers here and they stand outside the big shopping centers that have wal-marts, which is a huge grocery store and dept. store combo -- usually with signs that say: will work for food -- and they're all dressed in raggedy, dirty clothes -- it's a total scam -- these people can collect up to $1000 a day -- so I only need half of that, maybe if I just go topless -- but -- I had a breast reduction, thank the good Lord, and now I have boobs like a 16 y/o -- maybe I could go work at the strip club -- there's one in the city not far from here -- ha -- my point is: make your videos as long as YOU want, and anybody else can either fast forward or stop watching -- I love your stories and love watching you create -- I have so many ideas from you -- my grandmother was in a ladies' sewing circle where they made quilts, etc. -- she lived on a large tobacco farm in the middle of absolutely nowhere -- but that was how the women crafted and visited -- plus, you are so funny -- I love when you drink your coffee -- you always say: oh, that's so good, mmm -- I'm not a coffee drinker, but give me a stiff Pepsi -- straight, no ice -- and I'm good -- ha. Be well, dear girl -- and make your videos however you want -- oh, tell Lulu she's hungry because she's growing -- my son was skinny as a rail and was always hungry -- so off to the pediatrician we went -- he saw him until he was 18 -- and he told me -- he's going through the last growth spurt of their lives, and they need the extra calories to fuel their body properly -- and -- he suggested snacking on healthy food throughout the day, and especially when he felt hungry -- and to drink milk and sit in the sun for 15 minutes every day that he could -- so you're both good -- : )

@@cwsowell Richmond, VA -- the murder capital of the country -- ugh -- true story: My house caught on fire on March 3 2005 and the room I was in exploded -- I should be dead; they don't know why I'm alive and lived this long -- anyway, the room was pitch black with sooty, heavy smoke -- I could not see my hand in front of my face, so I knew the door was close so I stumbled out and fell through the door -- we were getting ready to move and I had heavy moving boxes in the landing of the upstairs and I hit that box really hard and knocked half of my teeth out -- and then when they did the trach and endo tube -- just like on TV !! -- it knocked my other teeth out -- so while I was in the hospital - a premier burn center in the world -- why I'm alive -- they sent over a student dentist to examine me to make sure there was no medical damage to my gums, etc. which could cause an infection -- they sent this young man because he had been a practicing dentist for 7 years in another country, and to get certified here in the US, they require you go through the senior year of dental school -- anyway, we were chatting and he was telling me his story -- he was born in India and educated there, then moved to another country because the pay was really good and his friends were going -- then he decided to come to the US, and researched dental schools, and ours is one of the best, so he applied and was accepted. So when he told his friends where he was going, Richmond, they became immediately concerned and said: no, you cannot go; you'll be killed. Oh, he was currently living in --- wait for it -- Iraq! Sorry that was so long, but what a story -- and it's only gotten worse -- my son worked in an all-in-one gas station/deli/mini grocery store, which are springing up all over the place -- thank God he is no longer there, but everyday my last words to him were: I love you and if someone comes in w/ a gun -- duck; don't be a hero -- hide -- he was a roamer and worked every position, and I told him: just give them the money -- people from out of state come here and buy $300 worth of cigarettes -- which is the legal limit in VA -- they pay cash and then drive up north and resell them for a large profit -- so they have a lot of cash in the store -- I still pray for that store every single day -- again, sorry so long

Thank you so much! I didn't like the shiney plastic feeling it leaves. Watered down, i like it more.
@@roxycreations679 ok... I use special decoupage glue and I never had an issue with it. I feel like it's less expensive than modpodge because it lasts longer, but I don't know for sure. I also water it down quite a bit so maybe that's why it's less shiney indeed. I just love that the napkins disappear in the background.

Once my son and his best buddy ate $80.00 worth of food in one weekend. They had a contest to see who could eat the most. I was not a happy camper when I looked for orange juice and it was all gone along with milk bread lunch meat chips cereal and on and on. We still laugh about it now. I swear teens have hollow legs and the food just disappears.
