I've just discovered these clips from this production. It's a score that I have always loved deeply, but seeing these amazing young people getting totally involved in the world of the play, the way they listen watch and react is absolutely overwhelming. I'm moved to tears. Bravo, everyone.
This is GREAT!!! I have been a fan of Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet throughout my life and this looks like it was a sterling production. I wish there was a way of seeing the entire production. In any event, thanks for posting this for the overall public to view.

Wow wow wow. Yes, everything they said. And musically one of the most exciting performances of this scene I've heard. Bravi!! And one more thing - the current climate is one of cuts and more cuts to "frills" like the arts. But art is in the human DNA and, I believe, one of the engines of our evolution to this point and beyond. Who can doubt that the young men and women in the production have had their lives changed and their consciousness raised through this experience? I hope and pray that they will become ambassadors for the potential of art to transform humanity, because without art, the future is looking grim.
