After three tries I finally found one with comments not turned off. Prokofiev! Hell yeah. I've been jamming on this piece since heavy classics 2. Wich certainly wasn't as bs as people then tried to claim. It lead me to Prokofiev, Shastakovich, and the carmina burana by Carl orf. Anyway.

@@tb-easy8072 I agree with you 100% But my posted timestamp has me almost feeling sorry for those who have had to endure the stamina in which it takes to be able to pull off and actually learn to play that shit lol! They are literally just hack sawing away right there and I rarely have heard anything that compares to the speed in which it is accomplished other than the original recording in which is even seemingly a bit faster even..I mean.. What a piece! And I am tickled pink at how all of those people are just sitting there motionless listening to that going on and not thrashing like mad! It just simply boggles my mind lmao! I would be throwing elbows for Gods sake! :D
+Ariel Hernán Suaznabar It sounds to me like one of them is overblowing a bit, producing a really flat sound, which messes with the purposefully crunchy harmony in those chords.... it sounds off to me as well

Excellent and sparkling performance. Bravo Maestro, bravo Orchestra! Two thumbs up!
Contemporary classical music doesn't get much better than this. Brilliant.
lol this is not at all contemporary, but indeed fantastic
LOL this is not music at all!
Ricardo da Mata I suggest respecting other people’s preference for music kid
@@benzervigon7303 I definitely wouldn’t call this contemporary but still great

Nice! Came here because I played Montagues and Capulets for our symphony
Beautiful Orchestra.
Nice, slow tempo after the timpani is great.....bravo!!
My audition excerpt is from ~2:15-2:44 on viola - it is SOO insanely fast!!!
now I know why we only played selected movements from this in Intermediate Symphony Orchestra at Interlochen in like 2006 lmfao
I've got 1:37 to 2:06 on violin for my audition. I agree, it is crazy.
2:15
I practised it my fingers actually bleeded and i had to rest from practising for a month
@@violathegreat2039 Not to mention excellent.
All that violins exceprt...bloody fast
luthor8 just saw it last night. My jaw was dropped the whole time during their runs
Light speed! Love it! Totally ripping it!
At 0:25 the bassoon players look dead inside as the oboe (Or clarinet? I'm not too good with woodwinds) happily bobs his head as he plays.
nah...I think he's looking for his girlfriend in the audience 😂😢
Brilliant!!!

As a fan of metal 1:30 to 2:40 is my jam!
The part after though is so heavy.

I seriously feel like Prokofiev had influence on metal as a genre. You should check out his Crusaders piece.
Fucking amazing.

Anyone can tell me if the trombones are or not in tune at the end of this part?

You're completely right, and I know I'm really weird, but I actually enjoy the effect once I get over the intonation.
It was the way it was written but I do agree there are some off keys going on at the end, nothing compares to 1:30 to 2:40 though imho.
That beginning sounds familiar... meme music????
Remember me of Prokofiev piano concerto no.3

Prokofiev is fool's gold.

sltflsh Pathetic.
Can’t you see how poor and caricatural this music is?
It is noisy outside and empty inside…
