I’m with you there, but I’m personally still excited to try this game out.
It’s possible they released this as a way to step back into miis, and are using this to distract us while they work on Tomodachi Life.
But That’s just a theory.

It’s been almost two years since the 2021 Direct aired and man, this brings me back. I have been wishing for this game to come out ever since I played it back in 2017. I started screaming and crying when I saw the reveal live with my mom, and rewatching this makes me feel nostalgic somehow 🥲

I LOVE this game! Nintendo needs more games with Mii characters in it. It's funny, fun, and they're crazy. I'm always laughing when I play.
The fact that the new "Mario Golf" game did also feature a Mii in the story mode only further enhances the possibility of the Miis getting a comeback.

I feel like their will be a Tomodachi Life 2/Switch now. It would be silly of Nintendo to make Miitopia and not Tomodachi Life since Tomodachi Life is far more popular. I think their strategy might be to release Miitopia before Tomodachi Life so Miitopia sales wouldn't take a hit.

That Nintendo doesn't think on bringing back Tomodachi Life when it was one of the 3DS best-sellers. like the 10th most sold game in the console. They got us Pokemon Snap 2, a sequel from one of the most wanted 64 games, 3 ports of the best Mario titles and a port of one Skyward Sword, so why not doing the same to Miitopia?

I never screamed that loud in hype than seeing my favorite Mii game have literally new make up and wigs options! This is my dream game right here!! And even having horses in the game makes it feel so iconic too! I'm getting this the day it comes out for sure! But the thing that blew me away though, is the release date! May 21st is ACTUALLY the same day I beat Mario Galaxy 2's perfect run after 4 years of attempts! This has gotta be the best thing that has happened in my life!! :D
You know why I’m hyped because it’s my birth month and the same date so the world comes heard me complain and looks like it gave me what I wanted plus of I even saw and I predicted the release date before I saw the trailer just for fun and I predicted it right cool.

This game is so good and so underrated, I hate that people immediately hate on it and call it a "dumb kids game" just because it has miis in it, They are really missing out
I sure didn't miss out. While this game is a little too "childish" at times, it is still a very fun game. When I started playing for the first time, I had never had that much fun in a game EVER.
There's something great about Miitopia that not every RPG has been able to master. I don't think I can describe it, but there's just something about the game that you just fall in love with instantly. Maybe it's the ability to make custom heroes for your story, or the goofy cast of NPC's, but the game has a special charm that I still miss sometimes. I'm happy that they're making the game for the switch and I hope that this remake does the game justice.

Playing the demo of this game has been the highlight for me the past couple of days. I’M THRILLED FOR THIS!!!
Mii characters need more love and appreciation, and this plus Tomodachi Life are perfect for this. Hopefully Nintendo will consider letting us relive the magic of making our own characters live lives on an island in the middle of the ocean XD

Same they seem to be slowly bringing back the Wii charm to the switch with things like ring fit adventure being basically the switch’s Wii fit and 1-2 switch basically being a new Wii sports game more and more games have been more rapidly incorporating HD rumble into gameplay

So, basically, I would not be anywhere that can be defined as near Twitter due to it being a toxic place and I wouldn't be a guy qualified to speak with Nintendo, what with me being a Mexican that listens to Rock, and classy music and they are a bunch of serious corporation people. Also, I understand how you feel, I sometimes feel the same way when I see something I disagree, though I do honestly try to control my emotions and I have been quite successful several times.
Also, to GreenJacket42, they will most probably treat this game just as they treated Super Mario 3d World + Bowsers Fury or Pikmin 3 deluxe, as a way to keep fans satisfied until the next game, except in this case it might spell their doom if they don't make the sales they want made. I know that would be sad, I personally would have loved to have seen the game be an advanced combination of Tomadachi Life (Hub world) Miitopia (main campaign) and Streetpass Mii Plaza (Minigames/gallery), though I mean with how it hasn't been hyped up, I guess they are going to treat this as a DX port, sadly enough though fair, at least we HAVE hope.
So, what do you wish that they add? I wish for an improved version of the old map, since the previous one was honestly 3DS sized, I want a Switch sized world to explore (this part of the comment is not to be read in a "I Want A Hippopotamus For Christmas" voice), more Pets, horses were confirmed and I personally don't think anyone would object a cat, dog, spider and snake classes Mii to own their respective animals, hm?, more classes and personalities, more possibilities to create, and lastly, why not a part two to the game. A type of "go back to the very beginning, a new adventure + is waiting for you" type esque thing.
You can discuss amongst yourselves of which part you want to talk about, probably by then I will be at work, doing work. So, wait for me in the afternoon.

When I saw this I almost died, My mom saw an ad for miitopia on the tv when it first released in America, she said I might like it so I bought it, it has been my favorite game ever since, so when I saw this announcement, I cried, I mean it I literally cried in real life, That was the most excited I’ve ever been in my life

Between the two of them Miitopia is much more of a game, and is therefore, easier to port (even if it did sell less than Tomadachi life) but If this game does decent I could easily see them creating a version of Tomadachi life for switch.
I wish that I could send all my Mii’s from Tomodachi life to the switch version if they make one. Because I’m still attached to the Mii’s i raised up there for the 3DS😎💯

I LOVE this game on the 3DS. Totally getting this on the Switch. These new features are also awesome! I can't wait!

you know I never thought Nintendo would look back at one of the most underrated games on the 3DS, and not only did they remade it which looks amazing they also added some new content to it I'm really excited to get it and I'm glad Nintendo are now remembering the Miis
