We especially should, instead of trying to conquer the world with our decadent, trashy Pop so called culture. BTS is an example of what comes of that. Maybe 20-25% of what they do has merit. The rest is just the same old American style junk, delivered with more talent than most other groups. But still just a waste of that obvious talent.
Every country can produce a great culture. Just put your mind to it ! The "problem" is that cultures like these are much older than the United States" culture>

In fact, two cultures in the earth, ie India and Korea, have very fine and many rhythm system in the music. The two cultures very well understand that a music is the composition of both. For example, Korea has many and various Jangdan(장단 = long rhythm) and India has many and various Tala. Jangdan and Tala have very similar, or nearly same, structure in it. The beats are arranged with colors, characters and subdivisions, regularly and irregularly. If you see it, you will know it.

The East Asian Art of the Drum has the Western world beat beyond all doubt. There honestly isn't much art to be found in western drumming, military tattoos being an exception.
Given marching bands and the usage of military marches, I wouldn’t say it’s that much of a stomp. I prefer East Asia but they definitely don’t flawlessly win in this department

@@k.joomihyun 내가 한국전통 문화를 사랑하니까 ...그리고 해외에 알리고싶은데 이왕 할꺼면 좀 잘하는게 좋지않나, 그리고 특히 해외 4물놀이 팀들보면 다들 잘하지만 그중에보면 너무 아니다 싶은 팀들이 공연해서 오히려 물흐릴까봐 안타까워서 그러는거요. 관심없으면 이런글도 안쓰요 !

JJ K 세계의 모든 '북'은 영어로 drum 입니다. 저도 된장이나 찌개를 soy bean paste soup 등으로, 표기하는건 반대하나, 여기서 드럼이라고 표기한것은 별 문제가 없습니다.
이름은 우리 부모님이 주신것... 그걸 JJK라고 이니셜로 ...한 것은... 사대주의적...시각....이름 석자는 이니셜과는 다르죠...
