Thanks so much for listing the needed debuffs and buffs in priority order, that's so helpful! Knowing which champs is less valuable for me to find alternatives in my roster than knowing what exactly is needed :)

I really like using teumesia with him. Her burn can not only go through the poison clouds, but it stays on if you kill a head with her a2, as well as the dec speed if they have low turn meter. She also does pretty crazy damage with her a3, about 2m a pop. The end split is around 300m rathalos, 200m teumesia, 100m bambus(cursed set). Great to see skraank working well since he's much more accessible.

Thanks for this inspiring video! I was really dreading using my Brutal key and managed to 1 key the ^*&$&^ thing :). I didn't have everybody available, and had to manual most of the run, but it's the method to this madness that helped pull me through (and help my clan)! Thanks as usual!
Your knowledge of anything Hydra has my intrest. I always go to you for Hydra as I feel you are the foremost expert.
Rathalos and Artak on Curse set also works wonders, Artak will constantly put the hex with all those AOE
Would love to see a video on the newer Sylvan champ Firrol for hydra. Don’t see much on him but I just pulled him going for the archer.

I like Skrank in avenging. His A1 weaken hits hard. He’s really fun, and Ramps up
So I got lucky with my Rathalos forge pass and can actually put Rathalos Blademaster in 9-piece Rathalos set, would this be a viable way to gear him even though he isn't 100% AOE damage? The stats aren't half bad, 215 speed, almost 300% crit damage, 5k+ attack. I've had pretty bad luck getting good Merciless pieces from Sintranos, thoughts?

I lucked my way to pull Nekmo and pushed hard for Archer in the tournament, should I use both in the same team or in separate teams? Since Archer kind of does everything Nekmo can do and I could get a more valuable speed booster in there.

Bloody hell. I have almost the exact same team and do a fifth of the damage. Gear really is everything.

You could, but I think the team in general would require more speed since Nekmo brings the turn meter boosting and it adds up a lot at the end
Would love to see Nekmo in Provoke and 4 piece Rathalos set.
Unfortunetly I have no accessories for lizards, but I think it can be super strong :)
haven't managed to get 500M quite yets, not even half, trying Sulfuryion instead of Skraank but missing out on the weaken, going to put Lydia in the team next week in a guardian set

Yep slayer used to be Rathalos just thought if you 9 pieced Rathalos in the now slayer set there should be something extra no other champ gets would be very meta
I use him with sicia and soulless. Because sicia reduces the burn count I brought in soulless to extend it lock down the head of decay and do good damage

i can pull about 100 mill on hard, and i use artak in a provoke set, he does the burn and brings the decrease attack and the ability to pop his own burns. but i use rathlos in a relentless and 4 piece rathalos set, so he gets soo much turn meter and extra turns
What are the command settings? Who has what priorities?
Emic, two Painkeeper (in curse set), venus, duchess in 9 piece protect, rathalos. Great full auto team with nobody getting eaten

Are there any builds that can be done without Relentless? Assuming there are players that don't finish top 3 or above in tournaments?
Merciless would work pretty well with the cooldowns. Rathalos gear would help a little bit with the aoe turn meter fill. If you don't have relentless you can still make the same team it just won't have the absurd total damage at the end. It would still be massive damage I would imagine
@Saus3657 appreciate this insight. I've looked at the merciless set on & off but haven't really considered it. I had the understanding that it wouldn't work without relentless and was dependent on the extra turn
If you can reach the 1500 turn count relentless is not beneficial unless it's on super DPS champs, relentless burns a lot of turns unnecessarily. Champs like nekmo waste alot of potential damage in relentless
I put skraank in a hex set with 200 plus speed. Game changer

Artak could likely do it, if you turn off his A2 that decreases duration of burns.
Could actually play the game. I mean it has a section with every champ. Their skills you know, like your own eyes work.
Basically any burner.

What about auto damage potential? No time to click Hydra battles for hours and sometimes even restart.
Noone tried to do a counterattack team with rathalos apparently. Should stack his passive very fast
Counterattack is always tricky in Hydra. When you get unlucky and mischief 3% you it can turn bad very quickly
@@swamb9417yeah but block buffs should prevent that. It is more of a hassle in building resistance on everybody I think, you kinda need firrol for decrease acc and increase resistance. Still would be nice to see
Love your content bro. If you ever want to have fun doin a takeover for hydra, I have end game account, I can 1 key all hydras but i have the champs i should be doin a ton of damage with ie Acrizia, Sulfy, Archer, etc. with 20mil pp. Just an option if you want! Have a great day :)
I run Ignatius, Venus, Artak, and Ultimate Galek with Rathalos. Then again, these are the only HP BURN champs I have at my disposal at the moment but I am not complaining! lol

i got myself a 3* soul, i also have skraank. i will try and make a better hydra team with those two after i finish mastering up my dreng for sand devil team with godseeker.
with the debuffs alone, i can name a team right now, nekmo, ursala the mourner, rathalos, and 2 hp burners or hp burner and fahrakin and wukong,
I have both of them, My rath is 4 star souled and Skraank is 2 soul stared.. "Huge power"

man im getting some dirty thoughts right now, watching this, since rathalos is the same faction as ronda, im almost wanting to see if i can put rondas gear on rathalos, she's got my best damage gear, and who i use in arena and such, only issue is i'd have to get him 60'd and get masteries, as i just got my arbiter and got her 60'd
only problem is not having provoke so i'd have to manual.
Please show your hydra arena bonus when going through the stats. At least once :)

Rector is a good budget option. I'm not sure what you have but use the filter and search for veil champs

I love teela because she brings: HP burn, Hex, Leech. Plus she can steal buffs with her a1

Shamael isn't doing anything too special except attacking when they places debuffs if I am not mistaken.
Must be nice to have 6 pcs of merciless thats worth using. Ive beat 90% of hard and 100% normal since its been out and i dont have 6pcs worth using. My rng isn't just awful on shards and rolling gear. Its awful on getting gwar aswell........ trifecta from plarium......

Put kantra for the provoke instead of mithrala & put nekmo in cursed instead, Should do more dmg having kantras suite of debuffs

Hopefully one day there will be replacements for Shamael, until then these videos don't provide much for those of us who don't have it.

I think you overlooked the importance of Uugo’s heal and nekmo’s leech. Without the healing from those, and no reviver, this team wipes.
I can’t believe the number of times I’ve assembled what I think will be an MVP team only to realize all the big damage gets trashed without someone keeping them healed up.

Because of the a1 and a3. It will deal more dmg overall

Bcuz Sath from hh did a video on it a few weeks back. So now everyone is using it even tho it's not really the play on 99.9% of the champs........ but you know how trends go on content creators channels. If 1 does it, they will all follow bcuz nobody can think for themsleves.
wouldnt "the ultimate FTP" burner be artak? just turn off the A2 in the team set up
Not to mention his A1 extends burns keeping them up longer, and it is AOE so you could put him in a provoke or curse set

nekmo and shamael missing..actually so far 1-2 champs missing of all ur parties(videos)..game isnt so generous with me lol
Counter attacks / ally attacks don’t actually increase his damage any more than they do for anyone else… everyone looks at it wrong… it increases the number of turns, therefore increasing how many times the passive activated, but makes it more likely to land in an A1, which exactly balances it out… his passive basically just adds 40% damage overall when you do the math (unless you are speed tuning him and counting attacks to time it right) you have to look at it this way…on average, during a long fight like Hydra, 1/5th of his A1’s will get the bonus, 1/5th of his A2’s and 1/5th if his A3’s… so adding more A1’s (counter/ally attacks) won’t add to the number of A2’s that get the bonus… it’s just that 1/5th if his counterattacks will also get the bonus… and so his passive just basically adds 40% to his damage, and that’s it… (200% / 5)
I got exactly 0 souls for him. I had zero shards, zero multi battle, zero energy and zero time. Doesn’t really matter because I haven’t even leveled him up.
