  • I bought this laundromat in June and it has been a ton of fun learning how laundromats work and trying to increase the revenue. We have increased the sales but it would be great to increase them a little more!

Idea . . . maybe use the front window as a spot to have laundromat signage that way you have more marketing on the front. The small sign on top is high and small.

Exactly what I was thinking...Find a local artist that can paint the glass with something that would be attractive and attract attention.

It’s so much cleaner than when you first took it on. That makes a big difference.

When you take out the 2 older dryers make an extra folding area.

    • @investfourmore
      @investfourmore  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

That's tricky if we add more dryers

Maybe try selling some fragrance free and perhaps some stainlifting detergents in the machine in addition to the standard types.

To solve the mystery on how long the dryers run per quarter; put a quarter in it, start it, start a timer then stop the timer once the dryer stops. You're Welcome. 😉

As a single person i go to laundromat every 2 weeks, not weekly as i did when i owned my own home and machines. Just suggesting that others may have similar patterns.

You should add an air compressor somewhere by the car wash. I mean why not everyone else charges for air now

Paint one exterior window frame bright red. Then put a visible from the road "Community Laundromat" sign in that window. Done.

Do you think get approval for, and then have some nice light blue and white vinyl letters made, like 6" tall and put "Kersey Laundromat" on that large front window? Maybe 'Kersey' in a gentle arch, and then 'Laundromat' underneath in a straight line?

hello Mark :) this is a nice little Laundromat. There are 3 Laundromats here in my town and the one gets the most business due to the machines being better and it's not a big one either lol but my town is about 8,900 people here. Small town Elwood IN, anyway love these videos thank you for sharing!

Have you ever put a banner outside that says new owner bigger machines? If people don’t know that you have bigger machines, they might be going down the street to a different laundromat so they can wash their bedding or towels or whatever. If they don’t know that you have the bigger machines, then they’ll have no reason to stop in again. I have my own washing machine but it’s not big enough to do my blankets or comforters or washable rugs.

Can I caution you Mark about protecting the tubular locks on those vending machines I had mine broken into and had all the money stolen. The tubular locks are very easy to break into. Coke and pepsi provide a hasp that goes over the lock and you can put a pad lock on that. Just a thought

If I were the live in worker, I'd be tempted to use the vending machines daily. I'd be your biggest vending machine customer, here.
And good thing for whoever were to live in the apartment, there, cause they wouldn't have to buy a washer & dryer of their own. They could just go through the door, and they're at the laundromat.
Since you're considering one day renting it, that "shop" in the back seems to me to be good for storage. Like for example when you have broken down machines that you want your guys to work on. They could go in there during that time. Like how they are right now.

Collecting others coins is too much work? He's not the one fixing the machines. He's not the one fixing the properties.
Everytime you hear him say he had to "work", what he really means is someone else did the work and he just wrote some numbers on a check.
Notice how he never mentions, gives credit to or even hashtags the people he uses to do the actual work.
