Here is her first contest win. All the contests dressed up as their idols and Glennis dressed up as Whitney and sang her famous song 'One Moment In Time'. This performance started her on her way to a great career as a Whitney cover singer. You can see how the audience reacted to her. She was picked up by the police last week for defending her son in a fight in a supermaket in Amsterdam and now she is treated like a heavy criminal here in the Netherlands. One of the reason I don’t like concerts is that the sound system and the live voice doesn’t live up to the studio adjustments. This was a very refreshing and a thoroughly enjoyable performance. Enjoyed your reaction also.

When you go to Glennis Grace concert you will always get insane high quality.. strange thing is that Glennis always sounds better live then on record!!
@@lisbethj9701 I love her on both. When she sings Whitney tunes I love how she does the studio versions where as Whitney usually never followed the studio version when she performed live. Of course even then I enjoyed Whitney whether live or in studio. Both Ladies are/were outstanding when it comes to singing. 😍

People talk about talent, that is half of the equation. The other part is technique and practice, practice, practice.
Anouk is to rock what Glennis is to soul. Although, to call Anouk a rock singer is to do her an injustice. As a singer-songwriter Anouk is always expanding her art. She is just as comfortable singing reggae, blues, rap, jazz, dance music, backed by a Symphony Orchestra or a single acoustic guitar.
From neighboring Belgium is Lara Fabian, classically trained she is powerful singing a Mariah Cary cover or the aria from the opera "La Traviata"!

A few names for you. Anneke van Giersbergen, Diana van Giersbergen, Floor Jansen, Simone SImons, Charlotte Wessels, Sharon den Andel and from Belgium Silvey. You know these ladies are world famous in their scene, but not in the broadcasting world in Western Europe or America. ENJOY the music

Bruddah, I see your eyes and see real admiration and fun. So I looked if you have done reactions on concerts of the Ladies of Soul. The Ladies of Soul consists of Glennis Grace, Edsilia Rombley, Berget Lewis and Candy Dulfer (the ladie in this video with the saxophone). Every year they have in februari great concerts. If you don’t watch (parts of) these concerts I’m shure you miss a lot of fun. This year februari, they had again these concert evenings. The 9th of may they pubished a beautiful song singing
