The original version of eat it or yeet it had no stakes. there was no reason to hit the bell because no matter what you were going to eat something and every food had a 50/50 shot of being good or bad. They kept calling it a game when it wasnt a game. As is retaining the big bite in this version makes no sense because they have control over what they eat and it still has a 50/50 shot of being bad

It's the same thing with logic, humans aren't always as logical as you think.
