Cant wait for this game! And AAA games... They Arent great no more these days... I mostly play Steel Division 2 or Warno if i like to play a good game/rts
The time and effort it took to make this game possible, is astronomical. When this releases, it will be worth the wait. My friends, soon we will enjoy this gem in the making, we are witnessing a Cold War Naval Sim masterpiece in the making.
IN 1996 A GAME CALLED JANE'S FLEET COMMAND WAS RELEASED, THIS HIGHLIGHTS THE GRAPHICS OF THAT GAME, CHECK IT OUT OR GOOGLE IT. SORRY FOR CAPS, was too lazy to change, it, lol. Happy Hunting. Also, I will get this game again, the old one no longer works on my pc, been waiting for this.... bet it is worth the wait.
I'm of two minds on this. On the one hand, I was expecting animated flight surfaces and was a little disappointed there was no wire animations when the Tomcat trapped. On the other hand the core aspect of this game is naval combat simulation, not naval aircraft recovery simulation...
Thumbs up but we want full realism! 😄 They're putting lot of effort on it and I think that the final product will have a lot of details on this kind of nerd stuff!
Hi Trissic, W henever you hear a F-14 coming into land they usually dial up the power just before they hit the deck in case they fail to hook the wire. You can hear with every landing. A big roar and then a sudden cut off when they release they're successful and don't do to go around
2:25 it reminds me of an aircraft carrier i build when i was a kid, Italeri model, i think it was a Nimitz class can't remember for shure. But that shot looks like the box art. With F-14, A-6, S-3, E-2 and an A-5 ? can't wait for you guys to get this game out !
If I recall correctly, it is standard procedure during aircraft landing to push throttle to 100% when wheels hit the deck - in case the hook doesn't grab any lines, aircraft has enough power to take off again and retry landing (instead of rolling of the deck into the sea) Might wanna consider adding that into the game, if it's not too much hassle.
I've been playing cold waters for a long time... If this game has the soul of cold waters we'll have a cult classic on our hands, I'll buy it as soon as it's available
Landing in automatic mode happens like this? You can't interfere in the process, right? How long does it take to land on carrier and then if there are 4 units, I wonder how the planes get away from missiles in this game, with such simplified control? Why no submarines you video?
Will there be some default chance of a Bolter? Guessing depending on state of landing. IE combat/wave state/weather/wind/light will play a role or just a flat chance?
Speed in knots and altitude in feet is the global aviation standard for those measurements, ammo in metric is normal for the US military as they're an all metric service (in theory at least lol)
Of all the upcoming games, including AAA titles, this is the one i'm most excited for.

It’s still WIP, so maybe wire animations will be in the final version.
@@Masca79 they're not a big studio as far as I beleive

Do you know the meaning of "work in progress"....
Not bad at all but the aircraft movements need to be a bit more fluid to me, just use more progressive bankings at it will look much more realistic!

Can't wait to play this game! Aircraft taking off from and landing on carriers was the main missing thing for me in War on the Sea.
Finally a new update from you, I can’t wait to play it ❤
It looks really great, can't wait
for a work in progress this looks awesome
LET ME IN! LET ME INNNNNNNNNNN
I hope this game doesn't get delayed for another year, as I will have to switch to something else. So please get it already. - Cheers!

ALso what about wave offs?
Nice, 3 Wire! Even without DLCs. :D
looked more like a 2-wire to me, not great but not terrible either
With all the realism in this game I was expecting something closer to a real CASE 1 recovery.
Yeah, I second this notion. Would be cool to implement all cases.
There will be even soviets
Super hyped for this game, but I hope there's a mod or something to make it look less brown/washed out...
This is still so cool!
This game and Broken Arrow can't come out soon enough
can you guys make it so that the hook get the wire as and go mor forward and get pucht back at the top bcs the wire may be mor rea
Danger zone....
Okay and now a game mode with the uss nimitz in a time jump event before pearl habour attack ❤
Hi, will you put case 1 SOP into the game? I think it will be awesome, thanks.
Need so much!
Will we be able to play submarines in this game?
yes
@@lucasart328 thank god
Wow awesome is this game still releasing 2023 ?
Steam says "available soon" for a few years now... 🤷
They never mentioned a specific release date but end of 2023 is the earliest possible release date.
is that a kitty hawk class CV
Its Kitty Hawk herself.
We need much more communication from the development team; only hear from them once every few months. Is this even going to be released?
That said, this video made me fully aroused ;)
They're active daily on the discord server.

MST unrealistic landing I’ve seen. This is just a copy of Jane’s Fleet Command
So the speed is in knots, the Altitude is in feet, and the autocannon caliber is in millimeters. Interesting choice of measurement units.
Standard for the USA for whatever reason. Ammo is in mm generally
Isnt that normal for naval
@@lucasart328 Well. I wouldn't know.

That is standard in both navy and airforce
