White is not really symbolic of purity of the bride. It came in fashion after Queen Victoria as the color for a wedding dress and then caught fire across the UK and USA. The color white was rarely worn previously because of the expense and inconvenience of wearing a white garment (easily soiled). The original color of purity was blue, which is where the traditon of a bride carrying of something blue (for luck or purity) comes from.
Brides always carry a bouquet, it's traditional. They also usually wear white as this is the colour of purity. After the wedding, one tradition is that the bride will turn her back to the female wedding guests and throw the bouquet behind her. Whichever female catches it, tradition says they will be the next to marry.
The one furthest on the right on the picture from the UK is actually from Sweden. Its a picture of Princess Sofia the wife of Prince Carl Filip of Sweden. Other than that this video was pretty good.
If I were to ever be a king I would want these three man to be my Royal consorts on the questions that I have about life. Though I may get 3 answers that are different they will leave me more satisfied then one ever could.

The bouquets are traditional in English culture and that was passed down to Canadian and American culture. In Canada and America, all the unwed girls whom are seeking to get married gather in a group at the wedding reception and the bride faces away from the girls and throws her bouquet over her head. It is said that the girl who catches the bouquet will be the next to wed. It is a fun superstition that brings luck in love.
That was a really nice video again! I loved Babu's song in memory of his friend too. He asked about the bouquet...I don't know if this is the same in all cultures, but usually in the West, the bride walks with a bunch of flowers in her hand to the altar or registry office and during the wedding ceremony, the bridesmaid or a flower girl will hold it for her. After the ceremony she gets it back and at some point during the party afterwards, she will throw it in the air behind her and all the single ladies among the wedding guest will try to catch it. The one who does will be the next to marry. ;) I was a bridesmaid once, but I never caught one. lol.
I was waiting for the white dresses. I am from Finland and everyone here opts for a very bright white, but my wedding dress (a month ago) was a blush color with some white accents. I knew red was a really traditional color, but the fact that they called most shades of even "off-white" angelic felt nice haha

Edit: These are Polish highlanders: people who lived so far in the South that for centuries they had no contact with the rest of the country. However, they quickly adopted Christianity and identify themselves as Poles. They have their own language, culture and traditions. For example, the groom has shells sewn to the hat and the bride has red beads on her chest - these are symbols of their high social status.
He was just wearing traditional Górale's suit, not some special-wedding one. Górale are nation of simplicity. (They are separate nation allied with Polish nation over 1000 years ago, same as Kashubians, who allied with Poland 650 years ago)

They come in sooo many shapes and sizes, from very revealing to very covered, form fitting to princess (what they showed here) and everything in between. i've even seen some that are transparent, with only enough solid parts to cover the lady's private areas lol
The one from Poland is actually not a traditional wedding attire of Polish people in general. It’s only worn by Mountain People called “Górale” who live in the South of Poland. They have their own distinct culture and are very proud of it :) In Poland, each region has different traditional clothing and dresses, so there’s tons of them.

the pure white in an American brides dress symbolizes purity, that she has saved her self for her husband, and is a virgin.
That is what it was suppose to mean, but it really doesn't mean anything any more. Most brides wear white, even on their second marriage.
In reality, in America very few brides are virgins anymore.

Loved their reaction! And I also enjoy Babu playing his instrument and singing!
The old dude rocks out on that drum. I immediately groove to that shit.
If I were to ever be a king I would want these three man to be my Royal consorts on the questions that I have about life. Though I may get 3 answers that are different they will leave me more satisfied then one ever could.
Grandpa jammin’ at the end! Luv it!🥰
Votre chaîne est géniale et votre idée de faire partager les différentes cultures encore plus. MERCI !!! Sorry I can't explain in english how I feel.
I enjoy hearing Bapu's singing and drumming. I don't understand the words but it speaks to the heart.
Can we get Babu a record deal? Everyone needs his songs every morning.
You should have them react to animals they would never have seen before or the crazy ocean life that most westerners don't even know about like goblin sharks or barreleye fish
Or blob fish
@@ruahoneybadger5828 yeah but thats not what they really look like. The popular blobfish pics are what happen to it after it suffers decompression damage from being dragged to the surface.
I love this idea! You could easily show them National Geographic on Disney plus. If you can stream that there, I’m only assuming.
Yes, I was thinking that showing them some of the deep sea creatures with bioluminescence would be a real eye opener too.
Cookie cutter sharks, Beluga whales playing with kids at the aquarium, Poison arrow frogs, Narwhals, Orcas, Great White Sharks, Alligators grabbing Wildebeest on their migration... Oy vey, I could go on forever. Anyone else? 🤔
Been binge watching your videos
This is a very beautiful topic series! We learn with them!
It's awesome you guys are great and expanding their knowledge. Keep it up 👍🏼❤
That was a really nice video again! The one who does will be the next to marry. ;) I was a bridesmaid once, but I never caught one. lol.
That was my favourite “Babu Song” yet!
That man’s got RHYTHM!
@@patty7791 He sure does! :)
I was waiting for the white dresses. I am from Finland and everyone here opts for a very bright white, but my wedding dress (a month ago) was a blush color with some white accents. I knew red was a really traditional color, but the fact that they called most shades of even "off-white" angelic felt nice haha
I love these guys, so thankful to god for everything, show great respect, so kind, funny and sweet. They are a joy to watch
Love his drumming! Very rhythmic! ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊
I love when they react to fashion so much! I learn a lot from these videos myself!
the Indonesian one, its a wedding dress only for the Javanese ethnic, 🙂
I am laughing as for the UK you chose some of our ‘not so fair’ looking ladies 😂
These men are so lovely and complementary of all the different types of wedding attire. ❤️ I also love the phrase “fairy of beauty” what a lovely way to describe a beautiful bride! 🥰
Yay, polish accent! 😄 Much love to you from Poland ❤️🌷
Love these 3!
Should have shown an American gypsy dress very impressive!
7:41 God, I've lived to see my country! I am so proud and happy !!
Polish groom looking so cute 🥺
He was just wearing traditional Górale's suit, not some special-wedding one. Górale are nation of simplicity.
(They are separate nation allied with Polish nation over 1000 years ago, same as Kashubians, who allied with Poland 650 years ago)
Glad to see sir give Babu the globe 🌎 he will tell people in the village they will learn about the globe 🌎 🙏❤️
I learned a lot too, fun watching these men smile!
I would so much like to know these gentlemen( they are gentlemen in the truest sense of the word, gentle men). Their apparent curiosity about the world is almost equal to mine and I Delight when they see something that they've never seen before. When I see you the way they react to things that most people take for granted it gives me a whole new perspective on the world around me yes I really wish that I could meet these gentlemen and speak to them for days and answer any questions they might have.
I love that they are teaching the men, best tribal channel out there today.
Yes show them the globe! You can also show it before they ask. I love learning about different cultures and people and this channel has given me a lot! Thank you!
Sarru is so concerned about the American wedding dress getting dirty. That is so cute of him.
Indian clothing looks super comfortable. I must be a little bit Indian cause I like the colors of the different places, never was crazy bout all the white, unless your in the southern states an you get camo, not crazy bout that either. Lol
We are starting to see a bit of color in American wedding gowns. Maybe designers are starting to figure out that not everyone looks good in white.
What about show them some classical european art?
Or some modern art for them to try to guess those WTFs?
They could spend a whole episode just on American and British bridal gowns.
They have their own distinct culture and are very proud of it :) In Poland, each region has different traditional clothing and dresses, so there’s tons of them.
they are not used on weddings though, perhaps mayby if pair are some kind of folk enthusiasts
@@GdzieJestNemo I think Górals still use them quite often 🤔 but yea, the rest of Poland no
Elder Babu and I seem to have a similar outlook on life. Similar age. I think he and I would have a good time just hanging out. Using lots of hand gestures of course.
I love Babu, he reminds me of my late grandparent, he is so kind and sweet! 💕
Does anyone remember that show In Living Color? David Allen Grier played a reoccurring character that had a song for every situation. He'd say without pausing for an answer "I wrote a song about it. Would you like to hear it? Here it goes." then he starts singing and playing his guitar. Babu reminds me of that character. He has a song for every occasion.
I love Babu.
Oh, there are Górale people (The Mountainers) in the first picture, at the beginning, cheers from feets of their mountains!
