    Donna,
A really good video and narrative. I couldn't help but notice the extra bit of smile that you have while on your own yacht. I look forward to your future sailing adventures.
If you would like a quick and inexpensive fix for an anchor.light, you can attach a solar activated/powered light to your mast. I did this on my yacht and it works great. You don't have to worry about leaving it on during the day and draining your battery; and it turns on automatically when it gets dark. I wish you the best.
    Cheers!
    Blue Skies and Fair Winds.
    Faithfully,
    James

Hi James, thanks for the tip. I have decided I don't want to spend too much time and money on Legal Action so that will be an idea option for me. Could I trouble you for a recommendation for which one you use?

Congratulations on your new yacht. This looks great and we all look forward to seeing you work on Legal Action to have your sailboat “just so”, and very much to seeing your sailing experiences and confidence as a skipper expand across the horizon (and North Sea!). Fair winds.

Hi Neil, hope your tour around Britain is going well, I've got up to the Orkney's with you so far so I need to catch up on the rest of your videos. Looking forward to seeing more of your adventures too!

Daaavvveeee!!!!! Hello, I'm loving her and she almost ready to get back out after our little collision at the regatta. Keeping her in over the winter so I can carry on sailing when the weather permits. Catch you at Amble soon. :-) PS my dad was very impressed with Diablo.

@@donnasailing Hi Donna. Hope your collision wasn't to bad! Hopefully we might have a reasonable winter to carry on boating. Yeah, I took your dad for a quick run out a while back which he really enjoyed. Keep posting the progress regarding your boat!!!!! David

Great to see you back, and congratulations on your new boat. I'm sure you'll have fun. The 'thingy' is an old style depth sounder, btw.

Conratulations on your new boat, and by the way, your dog is gorgeous! Also I can't wait to hear the story of a collision involving a boat named "Legal Action".

Thank you so much! Ah she is such a sweet girl but very alert and vocal. She does love sailing though, and we just need to sort out the toilet situation. Yes I will talk about it in my next video. Everyone is OK though and Legal Action is back in business.

A little piece of astro turf can be quite useful for toilet training boat dogs.

Lovely craft, my first yacht was a 23ft hunter with a lifting keel, we raced her every Wednesday evening in the summer, I have recently gone back to sailing and have a Carter 30 and started club racing this summer, mind it’s just following the fleet around the course I keep coming in last, but it’s good fun.
You will have years of pleasure from your craft and will learn all her little idiosyncratic ways,

If you havenlt worked it out yet, that instrument on the port side is a very old echo sounder - probably mid 80's. The different scale top right souild normally allow you to select feet, metres or fathoms. they need a fair bit of manual tweaking - i think they have a gain / power button as well to enable you to filter out extra returns when the signal bounces back to the surface of the water then back down again!
I would suggest removing and replacing with a more modern one, ideally viewable in the cockpit!

amazing! I hadn't worked it out yet so thank you. I do have a more modern one which unfortunately wasn't working either as there is something up with the wiring. Just sailing in waters I know very well until its sorted.
