Exactly. I am an under 14 goalkeeper myself and when I make a fantastic save I never get noticed for it but when I let the ball go through my legs by accident, that's the only thing my friends talk about
This season I made 87 saves in 14 games, and conceded 11. But our second game I came up on a corner, got a bad punch, and sent it into the net. That's all people remembered.
I am HSV Fan and I feel pretty bad for Baumann. I wish Hamburg rather would have won 1:0 instead of that. But was great to see the Hamburg players all cheering him up afterwards. Not all teams do that..
Worth noting that 10 years later, Baumann is still in the league as Hoffenheim's captain, and Casteels is Wolfsburg's number one and a consistent Belgium international
Yes. Some of the worlds deadliest creatures have appeared in Bear Grylls: Bundesliga. Oliver Kahn, Michael Ballack, Stefan Effenberg, the list goes on.
***** its kind of hard especially when the goals are that big, you need to put a lot of effort to reach the ball at a situation like that and sometimes things happen quick leaving you no choice but to let it in or not even touch it at all.
Kenji Yamazaki Νο chess isn't like football. In some games you will have a winner no matter what you do.In football every goal could have been prevented if the goalkeeper had the right position and reacted correct. It's the same with basketball, volleyball etc.If defences played correctly and no ''mistakes'' were made by players the games would had ended 0-0
Me too. And I've made so many mistakes. But playing goalkeeper as a profession... Yes, it even happens to legends like buffon but u can very rarely afford to make a mistake. It's y us goalkeepers playing there as a hobby are different to professional goalkeepers: They are paid to not make mistakes. They do know that comes with the profession, though. But Mario Fransisko is right, so many goalkeepers have been ruined by the pressure and the sheer idiocy some people show when criticizing a goalkeeper.
Julian Blecken It is just like what had happened to Victor Valdes, there was too much pressure and he felt the only way to move on was to leave Barcelona
+Andre Yosua well that is the goalkeeper's misjudgement of the shot as even if the shot was going to hit the bar he wouldn't stand and just watch it bounce but either push it over for a corner or be ready for the rebound
Wow, I feel sorry for all those goalkeepers. I used to be one, and I made lot's of errors, but now I'm a winger. Still, I bet all those keepers had a little pep talk with their managers afterwards!
The mistanke by Grahl isn't nowhere as bad as what Westergaard is doing in the same situation. He should have just kicked the ball far far away instead of trying to shield it back to his goalkeeper. Very poor judgement.
As a fellow GK I feel with these men. We are the last line if defense, if we fuck up then 9 times out of 10 it's a goal. When we are great we are rewarded so much less than outfield players. When the defense makes a mistake, the crowd blames the keeper, even if the team does not. When we are great, we are the fans Heroes, but if we make 1 mistake that costs a goal, then we instantly become a nuisance and liability to the team...
Maybe he didn't realize that lewandowski was the one who made the touch. He probably though it was either the goalie or the defender and in that case him tapping it in is better than it being counted as an own goal. Otherwise I dont know why he wouldnt let it go in on its own.
It does take a lot of courage after making such a mistake. I felt like i should not have started playing a goalkeeeper. I felt like i suck but thank god i didn't give up.
Being a goalie a hard job, which is why it is crucial for the team to keep the ball away from the goal as possible. If another team scores it's everyone's fault. Although after watching no 5,4 and 1, I feel those were mistakes and the goalies should only stay by the goal and no where else.
I play in center defensive midfield its hard to get over mistakes and thank god my team mates aren't babies just trash talk to me when ever i make mistake
he should have tipped the ball over the bar for a corner and not take any risks, if you watch games you will see, when the ball is that close to the bar, the goalkeepers alwats tip it over, giving away a corner is better than giving away a goal.
The goalkeeper is a role that requires skill and is one of the most important on the pitch (Yet in P.E/Gym-class they usually threw in someone who hates sport or is an outcast) Keepers basically are the scapegoats of the team
it sucks being a goalkeeper, people remember when you make a mistake, but not when you make a great save.
Exactly. I am an under 14 goalkeeper myself and when I make a fantastic save I never get noticed for it but when I let the ball go through my legs by accident, that's the only thing my friends talk about
+Masked Maniac Same happens to me.
1:49 that was out...STUPID REFEREE
Tbh I remember Peter Schmeichel for his great saves and not his fails.
+Mr. Parekh no it wasn't
Dude, it always hurts to watch these kind of mistakes as a fellow keeper. Chin up everyone, we all have our moments
Honestly, goalkeeper has by far the hardest role. There's always so much pressure and any mistake can be deadly.
shipu302 I know right?
sean yakobson goalkeeper support group
Exactly

Exyll he might be a low division player. It’s not like you’ve made that much saves.
Come on man. I'm a goalkpeer too, and we all know 11 goals in 14 games is not good.
87 saves in 14 games? Damn the defence is terrifying
@@douglasv1373 beyond horrific, damn I can’t believe it’s been this long since high school
@@gersonborges13987 saves though. Defense might not be good

Yes. Some of the worlds deadliest creatures have appeared in Bear Grylls: Bundesliga. Oliver Kahn, Michael Ballack, Stefan Effenberg, the list goes on.
Skankandbass I
Skankandbass u may not believe me but with my scouting group I met him
A little mistake can cause a goal for a goalkeeper, a little mistake for an outfield player can cause nothing
Yeah but also vice versa
@ktbDash Said he who never played as a keeper before.
It's so frustrating to hear people judge these keepers for these mistakes. They're human beings. They can't be perfect.
Everyone learn from their mistakes
+Queen Rexy p
it is their job.. you can't say that to doctors or teachers the same can you? overpaid craps
+Queen Rexy Some mistakes really deserve the judging. Like No. 1. You don't get paid thousands to do shit like that. XD
they still cant be perfect
I feel sorry for Baumann. What a bad day he had...
A hat trick of mistake for Baumann
Dino Indeed a game to put behind and never look back.
#2 you don't just steal a goal like that
Hyper Fuze Would be total embarrassment if he was called offside as well, was actually pretty close.
Hyper Fuze He saved goalkeepers ass.. It would have been own goal :D
Hyper Fuze My bad... team mate actually touched it...
+Hyper Fuze
!!!the defender was a donkey
+Hyper Fuze so true
number 3 wasnt a goalkeeper mistake....
Nice Pro Pic I must say

Yea exactly
its kinda hard to tip it over the bar unless ur hands can go through it

Wow, Aubemeyang stole Lewandowskis goal
Like that traitor needs more goals.
Raz .M He is the only one keeping Dortmund in the top 4 and even title race...
I cannot stand when Aubameyang did that. WTF on his mind??? Scored the fuck, he needed to be ashamed, fuck off
not easy to becoming a goalkeeper, too much pressure.. the deffenders around him but in a large pitch with crowd watching, he feels alone

Hey

,,Oh Baumann what a mistake"
andrei varsa everybody knows that ._.'
After all, goalie remains addressed "Number One" in every squad.
I don't think number 3 was a mistake
+Hamstertails675 seriously not a mitakes ..
+Hamstertails675 its the defenders fault
+Hamstertails675 It is. He was watching the ball fly instead of getting ready. You are trained to always be ready as a keeper.
all he had to do was tip the ball over, very simple, he chose not to and he chose poorly.
Too many goalkeepers trying to be manual neuer
ThatProGamer yeah bro I always wanted to be a Manual
ThatProGamer i want a manual neuer to become even better
Number 7 wasn't a mistake, he just couldn't get it because it was too high.
thats what I was thinking
+Ricardo Zamorano for sure, that was just hard to reach
+Ricardo Zamorano you mean #3?
+Adrian Hirt Both
People make mistakes, I'm a goal keeper and I've made my fair share of mistakes
I didn't really see the mistake at number 3
He assumed it had gone over after hitting the bar, and was in no position to defend once he realised it hadn't.
One of those rare videos that has commentary instead of some stupid dub step music. Tnks to uploader.
3:50 The goal thief lol
Wow, I feel sorry for all those goalkeepers. I used to be one, and I made lot's of errors, but now I'm a winger. Still, I bet all those keepers had a little pep talk with their managers afterwards!
I don't get no. 3. How is that goalie's mistake?
Should have put the first shot over the bar and out for a corner.
I was going to say how is it a fail but he should of I guess...
really unlucky. 99 times out of 100 that will sail over the bar or into the keepers mitts. should have tipped it over
KasabianFan44 guess they couldn't think of anything else to put in
People don’t realise how fast these shots come towards you, even a shot straight at you with power is tough to deal with
It's hard being a goal keeper they remember your mistakes but not your great saves that makes you a hero
adlers mistake looked like a difficult ball to grab
I feel so bad for Baumann
The mistanke by Grahl isn't nowhere as bad as what Westergaard is doing in the same situation. He should have just kicked the ball far far away instead of trying to shield it back to his goalkeeper. Very poor judgement.
'it's the worst game he's ever played in his career' ahaha don't know why but that line made me laugh my ass off
lol #3!! The guy took the credit when the ball was rolling in 20cm away and kicked it!! Don't think he realized that no one was cheering for him...
Who made the last touch on 3:44
Aubameyang
lewandowski got the touch and aubameyang scored Parsa Hamidi

lewandowski has scored enough anyway
love the music and the Goal...
Reus at the end looks dead serious ahahhaahaha
Who's the player that scores at 2:05?
+romariosuwandy94 tolgay arslan.Plays in Besiktas now
I've seen this video a good few times before but I've only just realised that Coen Casteels appears twice
At 3:46 upwards, the person who kicked the ball out of the goalie's hand would have got that goal however, the no.17 nicked the goal.
3:50 aaubameyang steals the goal from Lewandowski in my opinion
elliot strike Nah, it seems like he's just a greedy f***
Tresh Talk he didn't know lewy got a touch on it
strongraycool44 :D Oh come on...
a lot of these aren't even necessarily errors, just simple physics that the goalies were on the wrong end of...

What was wrong with #3?

I feel really bad for the goalies SOOOO MUCH PRESSUREEE! you make ONE mistake it sticks with you your whole career....
I know this is Bundesliga but Sweden vs England Joe Hart made a mistake for Zlatan Ibrahimovic to volley it in.
For No. 1, it is missing the 3rd blunder by Baumann in the same match.
I feel like most of these are just unfortunate circumstances than goalie mistakes.
3:42 I'm the only one who noticed that it was offside?
The last One was so funny😂
I think everyone watching this about this week will all be thinking about a specific instance **cough** Karius **cough**
for the baumann one you showed two mistakes instead of three??
Professionals? No matter how good you are, you'll always have human error.
2:08 he looks like the guy from Veritasium
1st, EA have control of the Bundesliga

2:33 MAXIIIIM
Lesson from this video: Perfection is only for the god
Who else thought number 3 wasn't the keepers fault?
And my coach freaks out when I make mistakes like that
I've done something worse than most of these as a goalkeeper myself..
the guy who scored on #2 is a serious jerk
2:08 look at the top
I did not expect klopp at the end of the video..
Baumann what are you doing?!
hey i like adler he is beast and underrated and overlooked and should go to a better club but that shot must have been hard if he couldnt hold it
To be fair, the last fail's shot had A LOT of spin on it.
The last one OMG!
I have to say the game with Baumann in it looked fixed...
الدوري الألماني يستحق المشاهدة
At maximum half of these were real mistakes by goalies. The rest are ppl who's never tended a goal shitting on goalkeepers.
Look at the banner in 2:08
This would be painful to watch if not all these goalies were top class
Hilderbrands wasnt an error. it was just a high looping header that he couldnt quite palm wide
3:40 wat is the guy with long hair doing why doesnt he take the ball ?
He probably was expecting his goalkeeper to grab it.
Yes. He should have boxed it out for a corner instead of a goal
I don't get it it said 3 mistakes for number 1 but there were 2.
Genaro Rivera They left out one, pretty straightforward, missed a catch etc.
Do Hildebrand's fail against Eto'o in Champions league
he probably didnt know that lewa touched the ball.. and frank's monster happens to be alaba
Hildebrand needed to decide whether to come or go
Where was the 3rd mistake from Baumann?
