He gets better educated by the world as he grows up, so he overcomes his ignorance and hatred. Seems to me that he just intuatively thinks that people of a minority racial group would want to pair up within that group, not neccessarily out of hatred for black people but simply ignorance of how it actually works in reality. "Put It Down" is a must Watch for me
Cartman is based on the late Carroll O'Connor's character from the American Sitcom All in the Family where he played a guy by the name of Archie Bunker. Who was a man of his time's who didn't know that half his ideologies were based on racism and bigatory and was trying to get used to all the changes happening all around him. Let's just say it's a show that wouldn't get a pass by today's standards but by the end of the shows run you slowly but surly witness how Archie changes. Honestly I wouldn't mind you doing a review on the show.

I feel like Cartman is being genuine and not actively trying to be racist. Just like with Jews or any other time he’s being terrible, he really believes what he says it’s not a matter of morality or racism. Obviously he is incredibly racist I’m not defending him, but he’s also 9 and so of course he will act on his beliefs with conviction. While he may do things and manipulate people to the level of a genius, he’s still only a kid. In his eyes it’s not racist it’s just the way the world works, and I think that’s why he doesn’t ever understand when the other kids call him out for being objectively terrible. A good example is when the kids TP the art teachers house, and he cannot understand why the guys feel guilty after not getting caught. (S7 E3 Toilet Paper). He lacks critical understanding that everyone is equally complex and individualistic, and he believes he is above everyone else. Classic narcissistic psychopath. That’s just my thoughts tho, I’m rambling and I’m no genius lol. Good video tho keep up the great work bro 💯

Yes this was the first episode with Cupid Me. I dunno if Cartman does what he does because he is racist but he is racist because of what he does. However, I think it is just his bigoted upbringing and I don't mean his mother, but his grand mother and extended family. The fact that Leanne doesn't correct him when he does something wrong just reinforces his bigoted learning. I don't really think an 8 or 9 year old would understand the drive behind racist ideals but they do understand what they were taught about race. You meet them in season 2 Episode 16 "Merry Christmas, Charlie Manson". It also features a character you have yet to meet: Mr. Hanky. However his first appearance is Season 1 Episode 9 "Mr. Hankey, the Christmas Poo".
