In his Twitch streams, he's way more lively than this, it's actually really funny to hear him go all out during them. If you look up "YandereDev Mental Breakdowns" there are clips from his streams that show him being a bit more lively than in these videos. Don't worry about him being angry that I told you, he's already seen and commented on these videos himself, very positively. I highly recommend going to watch them, they're a really fun way to see the other side of our Devpai.

I know this most likely won't pass your eyes but still, look at the number of subs you have on youtube. Not everyone who wants Yandere sim is watching these. I only recently subbed to you here on youtube and I have know about this project since late 2014. The people love you. You are one man making a game that already is a legend. Please don't lose faith in yourself give yourself a break man. I don't think anyone here is going your lazy and not making stuff for the game. It shows in your work that you love this and want it to work. We get that and love that about you. I don't think anyone would mind if you took breaks. So you say it will be out in 2019, I say make it 2020. If you are tired it will show in your work and will drop the quality of the game. So one more year of wait won't be a bad thing for something good.

Okay, dude, I'm worried about you. I want this game to come out just as everyone else, but I, and hopefully everyone else, doesn't want you going down the same path as Monty Oum. Get yourself a month of vacation every now and then. You don't have to worry about a final deadline until you actually have the final game in progress. Companies take years to develop games, and you're just one guy with a lot of stuff on your shoulders.
Also, while I applaud your DETERMINATION, it would be a good idea to attend to one of those conventions, podcasts and interviews. Those are good places to get more funding, avoid that low popularity issue and maybe get more volunteers, maybe even a fellow programmer to share the load a little (though I imagine you may have some explanation as to why that might not be such a good idea).

I can't put into words how much I appriciate all of your hard work and dedication and how much I love the game and how highly I value you as a person. I really hope you'll keep remembering that you have a fan base that loves you, even if there are some impatient people out there who make you feel like you can't catch a break. We're all here for you and a lot of us really think you deserve to enjoy your life normally just like all of us. It's easy to sit on our butts all day and exercise and engage in hobbies and then judge someone else for not "pleasing" us while they're working so much harder than we do on this thing. And I dare say most of the people who follow the game development understand that and care for your well-being. Now, I can't speak for anyone other than myself, but I want you to know that at the very least, I'm one more fan declaring they would be absolutely patient and would more than love it for you to continue engaging in things you love in your life that don't necessarily relate to Yandere simulator and will always be a huge fan. On a final note, I honestly feel weird saying some of the things I said here, since it's not my place to make any comment about any aspect of your personal life and the last thing you need is some kind of approval for me to just be yourself. All I wish to say in this message is that if you feel any kind of doubt and worry about what your fans *will* think, this is my personal saying that its alright and that you shouldn't have to worry about that, at least not in my opinion. It's far better to give us a month of silence and then release an amazing update that blows all our minds than it is to give us constant contact but release tiny, crappy updates weekly that eventually devolve into overemphasized bug fixes.

But then people complain when he CAN'T get those amazing features done. To be honest, from someone who has worked with game development and is graduating with a degree in computer game development this upcoming Spring, working non-stop on a game can ruin motivation. If he were to keep silent that would mean he would be spending more time than he already is coding. As he mentioned, when he looks back on his late 20s he's just going to see a giant hole that is Yandere Simulator (or something along those lines, I'm paraphrasing). It's a project he intends to finish because he's done so much, but I get the impression he's having a hard time keeping that motivation. If he were to replace his video-making time with even more coding, he may just descend into madness or end up in the fetal position on the floor of his workplace wishing for Ayano to bring him to a peaceful sleep that is death.
That's my opinion though. He is running himself into the ground, and just from the way he's acting you can see it having an effect on him. He seems rundown, dwelling on the negative, forcing himself to work to not think about it, even acting somewhat aggressive towards his fans who send him messages (which I can understand the need for as the fans really need this hammered into them). That's also just my opinion though. Just because he seems to be acting how he is doesn't necessarily mean anything.

I think that you should care about yourself too! You're right about the people who will lose their interests in the game, but me, and almost everyone in the YanSim Community thinks that no matter what happens, if the game progress continues, slowly or not, it's fine. I don't know about everyone but I think like this, as long as there's progress, I don't care if it's slow or not! You should live a normal life, have fun with your friends, exercise, and even sleep. You're gonna be older when the game is finished, and maybe you won't have the feeling to want to do that stuff at all.. at least I wouldn't. Just like you said, it gives depression of thinking that the only thing you've done for years is YanSim... I care about our Devpai as much as I do for the game. So go have fun!!~
