I’m gonna tell you something, when TADC trailer dropped, a month later everybody forgot about it, and look at it now, yeah I don’t think it’s gonna be forgotten when it comes out.

@@Theiceyman yes that’s true, but people mostly focused about MD, and this was back then before the shorts and we only had 4 or 5 MD episodes, i’m talking about the trailer from the next era video, also I’m trying to say that when TGD comes out, it will not be forgotten, it sounds like you’re saying it failed before it even came out and it will never be not forgotten.

Haha! Believe me, it's not forgotten. Digital circus was the EXACT same way before they started teasing characters and stuff. This show will at least be on par with murder drones in terms of popularity.
That’s really surprising that it’s the “forgotten show”. The 2 major things I was really excited for from GLITCH X was Murder Drones ep 7 and 8. And also The gaslight district

To be fair we don't know much about the show yet or the characters, and all we have is a short teaser so it's understandable not much people are talking about it. But still it looks awesome and I'm really excited for it!

I just sorta didn’t really care. The trailer was too vague as far as what the story is really about so my interest remained flatlined. Cool aesthetic and stuff but that’s about it.

Was expecting this to be about Sunset Paradise, but I didn't even know Gaslight District was a thing so I guess it works better.
Great, now I have another show/movie to put on my "I'm going to have to wait a million years to see this thing" list.

Yeah, I remember back around the summer of last year, I had to search the full name of the show just to see the trailer. But now if I simply type in Pomni, Jax, or Caine, I can easily find it from there.

Chill out, guys and gals, I don't think Glitch Productions has forgotten about The Gaslight District.
Besides, once Glitch Productions is done working with Liam Vickers for the last episode of Murder Drones (season 1) and the rest of The Amazing Digital Circus series, Glitch Productions will begin to work with PartTimeSeagull, and The Gaslight District will release around late 2025/early 2026.
No he’s not saying That glitch forgot about it, he’s trying to say that WE forgot about it, and people don’t really care or talk about it.

When talking about "Glitch Productions that nobody talks about", I was thinking about Meta Runner or Sunset Paradise xD Literally no one talks about those (anymore), even after the success of Glitch now... Kinda sad that people dont check out their first projects...
I discovered Glitch with TADC, but then I decided to check also on MD, MR and SP and I loved them! These last two are really underrated (specially Sunset Paradise) and I need people to talk about them more nowadays (also in just a few days it’s Meta Runner 5th anniversary!!)
i call dibs on micheal being someone on the gaslight district as well. anyways this is me claiming my role as one of the ogs who was here before the gaslight district got popular. in the future, if anybody sees this, hi.

GLITCH themselves recently said that the pilot is coming out very soon so I still expect it to come out sometime this year.
I got a mini pitch bible from him at lightbox! Definitely excited to see more! Nick is a great guy and total deserves for this to be made!
It's because Glitch was hard at work with the final episodes of Murder Drones and the second episode of TADC this year. I know that Gaslight District was announced back last autumn, and that it was supposed to release around summer this year. But remember how long it took for TADC pilot to go from announcement to finally airing. At this point, I'm expecting the pilot to come out sometime in September 2024, and then the final production to be released this year from Glitch would be TADC episode 3 for sure.
It won't surprise me if the gaslight district gets a trailer sooner or later, especially with Murder Drones concluding. I look forward to it, and I'm willing to wait for however long it will take to for it to come out.

It's not a forgotten show. People still remember about it.
The reason no one is talking about it is because there isn't really anything to talk about considering all we have of it is a like 15-second teaser that just about hives us an idea of what the show will be like
In fact, i recently mentioned it when talking about MD episode 8 stating "its sad to see murder drones end, but it opens new doors for new projects such as the gaslight district"
It’s sad that Gaslight District didn’t even get a chance it didn’t even get a pilot before it was forgotten I hope it make a comeback
well I only just learned about this today, I'm not at all a stream guy so I didn't really see any of GlitchX, and now I'm excited to see this
You wanna know what *actual* GLITCH production nobody talks about when they should? Meta Runner! It’s a fully complete series with high quality, a great plot, and some cool themes. It’s literally GLITCH’s first show and nobody talks about it anymore! It has 3 fucking seasons and went on for 4 years! Underrated masterpiece tbh. And that’s not to mention Sunset Paradise!

I never forgot about it, it’s just that there is nothing yet, so why make it a big deal until it’s out.
Makes sense considering that we don't really have much to go off of, and what we do have was an announcement at the end of GlitchX which not everyone watched the whole thing, and mentions in passing a couple times. We're not really in the "hype cycle" of Gaslight District yet

I wouldn’t say forgotten, I would say it’s in the same state the other indie shows were when they had their teasers, ie being worked on but that’s pure speculation on my part

It’s really Sunset Paradise imo, when it comes to Glitch old shows I swear people mention a lot more Meta Runner than Sunset Paradise

Here's some things that probably most of you forgot about or didn't even know:
- Unnamed Whisk series (might have been an early version of Sunset Paradise)
- Unnamed medieval dungeon adventure series
Both of these appeared in the now deleted "Welcome to Glitch Productions" video

You can't expect them to hype up an unstarted show when they're finishing one and building up another

OMG YESSS Nola Klop will fit perfectly for Mel, or Allanah Fitzgerald. I would like her voice not to be put back on Elsie Lovelock or Lizzie Freeman because we have seen them too many times in Glitchs shows (not hating on them, I love them) and I want to have a bit of a more new cast for this show
Here’s the thing:
1: they announced it WAYYYYYYY too early. TADC has only started, and MD isn’t even done yet!!!! They’re making it seem like a replacement right away!
2: it’s… not a show for everyone, I’ll say that.
3: doesn’t give a GLITCH vibe, but that might just be me
4: announced in a livestream that is HOURS long, other than in a video that could’ve been 6 minutes
The second and third are reasons why i’m already really interested in the show.
I like this district and it’s so gaslight
We will most likely get an update in winter of this year, considering at least MD will have its season finale and possibly one or two more episodes of TADC. The best guess will be an update comes in late fall or winter because that’s when things come out.

Something about this animation reminds me of the choppy animation of spider-verse, the cel shading of Invader Zim and the colours & shading of 9.
gaslight discrict reminds me of that claymation style and low fps style movies and shows like coraline and Puss and boots the last wish sort of style.
I think this is still just in the works and not out yet.

No one talked about it because it was a Teaser of 5 seconds, Plus people were probably thinking about murder drones back then. (And also were waiting for the Voice acting contest)

3:08 yeah that’s differently my biggest worry, i’m not worried about the creativity or the animation style because Nick makes the best animation I’ve seen on TH-cam, seriously in animation and style he’s definitely better than liam and goose, but I’m worried about the writing, but if you put so much passion and love for something it will always be good, there’s so many shows/games made by people who have really little experience of writing/game design, but because of the passion, they made some of peoples favorite games/stories, Undertale is a perfect example, and Nick said that he was working on TGD since he was in college, and never gave up on it, compared to Liam and goose that just pull a concept out of nowhere.
I feel like saying that Liam and Goose pull their ideas out of know here is a bit disingenuous imo

Like Uncom said, Nick hasn’t really done much in the writing department. So unlike Liam or Goose where we know what to expect from their respective shows because we know their writing style, we have no idea how the writing of the Gaslight District will be.

SOMEONE TALKING ABOUT THE GASLIGHT DISTRICT? AND IT ISN’T A VIDEO FROM LIKE NOVEMBER?? Omg I must be dreaming 😭 Ok Jokes aside, since I found about this show I found it pretty interesting (Especially cause it has a very different style from what Glitch has accustomed us to) and I was really surprised and kinda dissapointed when I saw that too many people forgot about it/ didn’t care about it. It’s something understandable cause we only got like two trailers and just some official images, but I really hope people will pay it attention and it will be more noticed when Glitch will drop teasers and when the pilot will came out. Also, you forgot about one character of the main cast, Breadhead (which I’m sure it will be the character voiced by Michael Kovach lol)

Remember when the TADC trailer released nobody talked about it after a month but when the first episode released people went wild when the gaslight district releases its likely it will do the same aswell probably not TADC levels but still
Maybe I'm ignorant of the online community, but I don't remember Digital Circus getting a whole lot of talk about until it was nearing its release. I wouldn't say that The Gaslight District has been forgotten, it's just that we don't have enough to talk about to keep it in our minds. Give it time. Now that Murder Drones is done, they can focus on working on the Gaslight District, and I'm sure people will be excited for it once we get more news.

Dude I legit was wondering what happened to that Project All I hear is The Amazing Digital Circus and Murder Drones New Projects Deserved Attention like Monkey Wrench and Vulpwood
Im have arrived to tell you that that gun is not an AK-47 but a creative interpratation of sloping some gun toghether. As i see it draws from the Kalashnikov style weapons with the woden stock but the metal body reminds me more of a FAL (the older woden versions). Also the magazine is just wrong, the handguard seems too short and theres no rail or anything that whould make you able to aim properly.
Take this as a confirmation that you are indeed not a gun nerd, as that gun whould probably not fire. But it doesnt have to, its just a picture show after all.
Well I think gas light district Will come last after The Amazing Digital Circus that's what coming after the Amazing digital circus when that show is finally finished some time later and then gas light district will come out

It propably won’t have cause in every Glitch show they have a moment where a character is about to swear but they end up censoring it (example: In sunset Paradise ep. 2 where Meggy says “oh shi-“ or in TADC when they want to swear but it’s censored by the toys sound). So definetly this other show will have a moment/ moments like this
