The panels over the windows are a pretty good idea.
Love the lawn fabric on the rear of the sound panel. I build panels and was using canvas for the back. I am switching to lawn fabric. Thanks!

Nice work! I've been working on my shed to studio for almost two years. I had to use what I could afford and I just wish I would have held off on the walls until I could afford doing the electrical. Now if I add it it'll be either ugly or a lot more work.
I've come to realize there are tools and supplies to help you with everything.
One time, I added 1/4 in ply wood and underlayment for flooring with tedious screws, using a t25 bits.
Anyway, I then found nails specific for this job (as stupid as that sounds, it didn't dawn on me that there was a specific nail for this lol) it went so much easier. Most think, screws, has to be better? Well, my oringal subflooring, albeit T&G wood slats, none of the nails they used 50 years ago budged. These are made differently with little grooves so they stay in place.
Anyway, it went without incident and worked great.
Way faster and held it down perfectly.
that roxul insulation with cloth over top of it is about the best sound absorber you can get. but all the boards on top of it kind of "hide" it. i built a whole wall in my old home studio that way and it had fantastic sound

If you know your final paint color you should tint your primer accordingly. I think Mike Holmes said that once.

I got the room darkening shades which have a U shape of light surrounding each of them like the lord is coming through. I want the dark, and I want the dampened sound. Thank You! Thanks! I used 1x4 pine common boards. They’re more expensive than 1x4 furring strips, but they are a much cleaner cut with square edges.

was that landscape fabric an air barrier? you may have needed to put some 6mil plastic up first before the fabric. You are going to get too much moisture up into that attic space.

Thanks for subbing! I just added a link for the lights in the description. A word of warning though, I've had some issues with the lights disconnecting from the wifi. It could just be the distance of the shed from the wifi router inside the house, but you may want to compare with some other brands before purchasing.

They're available through Home Depot. It's made by Husky. I love mine. I've had it over a year and I think I'm going to get a couple more. I love it for doing assembly work.

i dont think most people understand the utility of excessive outlets. I've got about two per room in my apartment and its infuriating.
Just curious if you remember what color paint and brand you used?
This was Valspar Ultra paint in Grizzle Gray. Went to Lowes and looked for the purest gray I could find. I used a flat sheen to hide light reflections, but if I ever repaint I'll probably go with eggshell. Very hard to clean drywall dust off the flat paint if you drill any holes in the wall.

Absolute hack electrical before. Why they put in 20 different GFCI outlets is crazy. Instead of just daisy chaining it off the first gfci

Never show a image of your actuell Key anywhere, its very easy to recreat a Key with this image^^, But good Video all in all :)
No worries! That was the original key but all locks were replaced during the home renovation, so that key is now useless. I appreciate the caution though!
Ok this is ridiculous production quality for a channel with only 202 subscribers. Also, with installing that landscaping fabric, are you worried about its flammability? I wanted to use landscaping fabric to mask the ceiling in my partially finished basement but was worried it would go up crazy fast in the event of a fire.
I wasn’t quite as concerned about flammability in this detached shed as I would be in a home. Landscaping fabric is flammable, but the rockwool insulation is highly flame resistant. You might choose a black flame retardant fabric if that is a concern for your application. Thanks for watching!

what application do you use for 3d modeling?
SolidWorks is what I use daily at work, but it’s not very well suited to architectural modeling, so for planning the studio I used Cedreo. Its a little limited, but it’s simple, free, and online, so it worked for what I needed.
