I'm so glad you are checking them out. Check out some of the hits from their iconic first album, it's really defining although they really progressed with each album, they were a fantastic band. But that first one coming out of Nirvana man, some of it just hits me so hard. They didn't waste any time. I bet you would absolutely love the first three songs of their first album, all three of them becoming hits on the alternative music charts and airplay. This Is A Call I'll Stick Around Big Me
Foo Fighters Rock! My favorite is Everlong, of course because it is the wife's and my song, but I have always loved Monkey Wrench too. Thank you for a great reaction, and so glad you like them! Rock lives on!
Yes! Starting off 2025 right. Lead singer Dave Grohl was the drummer for Nirvana during their main run. They have some songs that are good with great videos and then some that rock with great videos. My opinion on the ones that you would like are: Best of You - 2005, All My Life - 2002, My Hero - 1997, Something from Nothing - 2014, Run - 2017. Walk - 2011 doesn't hit like those but it's one of my favorite videos. Happy New Year!
best of you, all my life, walk, times like these, these days, my hero, learn to fly, run, the sky is a neighborhood, something from nothing, feast and the famine, rescued, monkey wrench, waiting on a war
Foo Fighters are a top tier live band. Watch all or part of their set from Wembley Stadium in 2008. Other bands to check out: Godsmack, Slipknot, & Breaking Benjamin.
I KNEW the other song was The Pretender. It’s such an epic song for a first experience. The opening arpeggio mixed with the soft vocals is gorgeous, before you get steeped in a driving groove. The gradual build is phenomenal. Cool thing about his entire album, is Dave recorded every part by himself since he didn’t have anyone else in the band to do them at the time. This was like his way of coping after Kurt died.
Dave Grohl is lead singer and was Nirvana's drummer. They the Foo Fighters are in the Rock hall of fame.. They were inducted by Paul Mccartney a friend and influence of Dave's. .Foo Fighters started in the nineties. .
Yet another great reaction. I'm from Minnesota. More Prince. His version of "Motherless Child" is pretty good, as is "Let's Go Crazy". Dave Grohl is a Prince fan. He probably wants you to react to Prince.
U must react to "Best of you" it's really hard to say my fav but yeah lol I'll go with that! Love watching u get into new music and enjoying it :) have a good one!
sooo no one’s requested SLEEP TOKEN: let’s start from the beginning with their first ep: thread the needle, fields of elation, & when the bough breaks…in that order
This track and the video is just fire ,i can't even think how much effort they put into this .I just love the quiet start and then how it builds into a full on war .RIP Taylor Hawkins
Dave Grohl is in a few bands. He isnt on every Queens of the Stone Age song but he did drum for them for a little, also another group with the guy from the Queens of the Stone Age called Them Crooked Vultures. Check out the video to "Go With the Flow" by queens of the stone age, its an interesting video, but "No one Knows" is probably my favorite from them. Little sister is cool, too.
This is a great song, probably not in my top 5 foo fighters songs, but that is a compliment to their other material. Check out big me from skin and bones concert to hear how versatile they are as a band.
when are they from? i saw them in 2024 in spokane. one of my fave concerts ive ever been to. Dave Grohl was put on this earth to entertain. I'd guess his parents didnt give him a baby rattle, but rather a microphone. One of the best frontmen out there!
Mia lovely💖HNY🥂👑🎊😚🙂↔️this was one my favorites from foo fighters. Baby girl, when did you record this? Because you said you've never heard the Foo Fighters before, which is exactly what you said when you reacted to "Everlong" just 8 days ago. I commented on that one that you must have dropped down from another planet to have never even heard of Foo Fighters at all. And now here we are again. ;)
I think she records a week or two out. Not sure if they're in order either. I noticed it when she kept saying her subscriber count that she hit 15k or 20k and her current was always way higher. Also she commented the other day about it being before Christmas when it had already passed. The drops are consistent as she does about two a day but either way I'm here for it. She's a busy woman and I love the content
@@albertgonzalez5466 Well in the first video she said she had never heard of the band before. In this one she says she's heard of them but has never heard any of their songs. It aired just a week ago but obviously she forgot what band she listened to already. It's no big deal, it was just funny enough to do a double-take. And yeah I noticed the thing about Subscriber discrepancy too. I have 11K subs after 7 years. She has what will soon be 40k after about 7-minutes. Being a pretty girl has its advantages.
Yeah you can’t claim first listen to a band on two separate songs, regardless of when they each were recorded. And the video freezing after a pause happened again and has happened multiple times. I am enjoying the reactions but the misstatements and technical glitches are starting to take away from the reactions.
@@GodLovesComics she had me at hello lol. I'll check out your channel. I like comics so you may have a new subscriber. I'm about to head to work but I'll take a look tomorrow morning
@@kilwrath I don't think her confusion is detracting much from enjoying the reactions right now. However, I do hate that she pauses the videos and then seemingly forgets to restart it. You can see the PAUSE protocol on the screen, but when she restarts on her end she is clearly watching and listening again but we only we hear the audio.
Mia, ``The Pretender´´ is one of my favorite FF Songs. But the best one is ``Everlong´´. There so many great Songs from them: Monkey Wrench, Big me, Walk, Best of you , Break out, Learn to fly, Long Road to Ruin and many more. Some are slow, others fast. I´m sure you will like them. And they have always amazing Videos. Greetings and stay safe. 😊😊😊
Foo Fighters is definitely mid-late 90's given Nirvana was early-mid 90's. Given you have already done Everlong, other Fooy songs are Learn to Fly (hilarious video), My Hero (probably do Shane Hawkins on drums live tribute to the late Taylor Hawkins for that one), Monkey Wrench, Best of You for a start. Plenty more though.
So, when you ask what time period they're from, they started not long after Kurt Cobain passed away in 1994. The Foo Fighters started off big and stayed big. They have been a top band in rock ever since and have had hit in the late 90s, all through the 2000s and 2010s. The drummer Taylor Hawkins passed away in 2022, and that has pretty much slowed the band down, but they have dozens of big hits. You really can't go wrong. But you'll definitely notice a difference between their early stuff and the later stuff, since (as is the case with most bands with longevity) their sounds change with the times. You really can't go wrong with any of their big hits. Do them all.
You should react to Honeyboyky the songs are “Worth it” & “Ballad in a Bottle”they are a band from Kentucky and are my best friends. I did a lot of the recording for both music videos, they did everything themselves without a record label. I’d say the genre they are would be surf rock and garage rock.
need some - hollywood undead, falling in reverse, papa roach, hellyeah, like a storm, rise against, mudvayne, drowning pool, hatebreed, seether, three days grace, pop evil, halestorm, bullet for my valentine, shinedown, black veil brides, escape the fate, all that remains, green day, sum 41, skillet, thousand foot krutch, stone sour, the offspring, redlight king
Definitely check out Learn To Fly, All My Life and My Hero (dedicated to Nirvana lead singer Kurt Kobain). 3 of my favorites and songs that put them on the map.
Lead singer Dave Grohl is an absolute legend. He was the drummer for the legendary band Nirvana. Singer Kurt Cobain dies, no problem. Dave Grohl starts his own band Foo Fighters. Will he be the drummer for the band?…No! He’s the lead singer and rhythm guitarist. The Foo Fighters are so good, they get inducted to the Rock&Roll Hall of Fame, just like Nirvana. Dave Grohl is now inducted twice.

If you think this is great just wait until you listen to Metallica Creeping Death live from Moscow 1991. Foo Fighters were created by Dave Grohl the former drummer of Nirvana. Their first album was written, and recorded solely by Dave Grohl. He is incredibly talented. He played every instrument on the entire album. Currently there are two former members of Nirvana in their band. Dave Grohl and Pat Smear.
