- "www.mormonchann... - In this story, a little angel, a grumpy old man, and an unusual Christmas pageant remind us that this time of year is not meant to be about shopping and commercialism. Christmas is a time to celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
We can keep Christ in Christmas by giving to others some of what He has given to us, such as forgiveness, kindness, charity, and love. The most precious gift is the gift of ourselves.
Thomas S. Monson encouraged, "May we all make the journey to Bethlehem in spirit, taking with us a tender, caring heart as our gift to the Savior."

I know the little things we do matter to Christ and He cares when we try. I am so grateful for that. I didn’t know what I was going to write until I started typing and the Spirit put that in my mind. I love my Savior so much and I’m so glad we can remember Him through holidays and through the way we live. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

I remember watching this video over and over again with my little sister when we were younger. I hold it so close to my heart, and I hope every person who watches this video does too! May God bless you with hope and peace this Christmas season. If you’re missing anyone, please know they are still with you in spirit! The Lord is standing right next you and your loved ones, whichever side of the veil they may be on. I know He lives. I know He is my Savior. I know He is the Redeemer of the world. I know and have a firm testimony that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost make up the God we know and love deeply. May we celebrate Christ’s life with love and joy, even admist our sorrows. “Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.” Deuteronomy 31:6 (forsake means abandon. doth means does). | “In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. This video illustrates one of the principles that are near and dear to my heart: that is, that adults can learn from children, as much as we adults learn from one another. Also, it is possible that everyone can have friends of all ages. I am convinced of this because that is what the Savior did during His mortal ministry. So, isn't this an important part of leading a righteous life?!

In case somebody reading this is secretly worried that you would be disapointed from doing servase, it wouldn't go well, you wouldn't have fun, or something else negitive, then i just want to say, that the love of God is the brightest and happiest thing! So ya, it will be a great experience. And i supose that if it is not, maybe it will come back at you someday and you will be greatful you where willing to help. God is both happy you are growing, and that someone else had help feeling better. Incase u dont know, having someone comfort you when u are sad feels so beautiful! Love for others is a great thing! And incase ur wondering, I don't think ur stuped for thinking that. U just need help understing something. Wich all of us need.

Oh my those clips were great I shared them with my family. We all know what Christmas is all about and Ruby you are beautiful. I'm going through struggles in my life and have been for the last five yrs. We just put are problems in Gods hands. My husband has an incurable cancer and his Doc gave him five years and we just passed the five years. We did Chemotherapy to try and slow it down it didn't work he is really sick again now and all I'm asking is for prayer to get us through this holiday time. If you want too. We have a 16 yrs old Son I forgot to mention. We love your videos. I also watch Bonnie and Joel and Ellie and Jared and your parents oh and Beau Probably more I just can't think right now. Too much going on can't think straight.😱

However,NO, The Ancient Greco- Roman gods are the reason for Christmas, they took the festival of SATURNALIA, tidied it up a bit, changed it to Christ’s Mass and a few years later shortened it to Christmas. So thank you Greek and Roman gods for the season.
