Brewing "Pink Cream," A Cream Lager with Hops Called Pink.

What brewer doesn't like to try a new, intriguing variety of hops? They used to be called ID-158 but now are called Pink and I thought it would be fun to give them a try. A Cream Ale/Lager is a light beer that uses adjuncts and is a good showcase for something like this.

Speaking of Northern Brewer, first all-grain I ever made was their Cream Ale kit - came out terrible but it was my fault lol. Brewed it a few years later after I learned a few things, loved it, still my favorite version of cream ale (just 2-row, honey and biscuits malts, and cluster hops). Thanks for the video!

We used Pink in hazy IPA. It gives lots of pink grape fruit.

I was at the Teenage Fanclub / Superchunk show at First Ave from the poster behind Don. It was my first show ever at First Ave and if I remember, Teenage Fanclub did an in-store at the old Northern Lights. I had just turned 19 and it was an absolute watershed moment in my life that I will never forget! Cool memory to see back there (I have the ticket stub to this day).

Is that you Chuck? Man oh man oh man. I saw so many shows at First Ave from like 1990 until, well, present. But there definitely was an era back then. And it was very cheap to see most shows. I think my first ever First Ave show was the La's. My memory of this TF show was that it was a lot louder than I had expected. My friend didn't have earplugs. So we each used 1. ha. I have a handful of that era posters up in the basement and some more in a folder. And those are just the shows that I took a poster from.

Around the 7 minute mark I think I heard the stir bar when you agitated the yeast. Your stir bar might be at the bottom of your fermenter.

Nope. It stayed in the flask. You can hear it but it didn't go in. I did do that ONCE. ha.
