A man walks into a casino, initially followed by a gang of invisible clowns who live in an invisible castle. The invisible clowns give the man all their money and leave, except for invisible Perkeo of Heidelberg, a normal circus ringmaster and invisible Triboulet (joined by his twin brother, visible Triboulet.) The dealer tells the man that he must literally score infinity or he cannot play. The man shuffles through a huge stack of blueprints for several seconds, puts down five kings of clubs that have been redesigned for pride month, and the sky cracks open as an entire galaxy of 282 identical magic moons convalesce in the cosmos above. He only scores 8.289e188. The dealer says he should have brought at least 10 more jokers and kicks him out of the casino, penniless.
So, the math for where to put blueprints is basically to have your number of retriggers equal your number of times a card multiplies. For example, in at least as far as I've gotten in the stream, if one card has a red seal, there is a Sock n Buskin retrigger joker, two x2 per card trigger joker, and five jokers that could be either of them (blueprint and the other one), the total number of retriggers should equal the total number of mult per card triggers. So if you, in this example, had three blueprint jokers on the retrigger and two blueprint jokers on the card trigger effect, then that would be 5 total retriggers (red seal, SnB, and three Blueprint) and four total card trigger effects (2 Trib and 2 blueprints). The math works out that this is the highest amount of score you could receive (you could also swap one of the blueprints to the card trigger effect and it would be the same).
It's not infinity, it's a larger number than the game is designed to handle. It then says NaN, which means not a number. This also happens in some games when you divide by zero.
this reminds me of that one time i played cryptid mod and in ante 1 i got a ://POINTER card (spectral that lets you create any non exotic card) and a perkeo. the game crashed by ante 4 due to the sheer amount of times my cards retriggered
I was SCREAMING at the TV for him to remove kings to get that polychrome red tagged, chat you need to be better and help him with stuff like that, godamn.
As a variety streamer, it takes a lot for him to revisit games on stream and make them entertaining. For what's worth showing on stream he's already explored Balatro in the past. These seeds are still ways for him to show interesting gameplay that totally destroys the boundaries of what the normal game experience is. We would likely not get any more streams of this game if it wasn't for that.
He has said that he plays Balatro a lot in his personal time off-stream. On-stream it’s harder for him as a variety streamer to just say “we’re gonna play some Balatro” and not have a hook like this. Especially with how much chat backseats him.

planet and tarot merchant/tycoon vouchers increased planet/tarot cards in shop, therefore pushing blueprint too far back in the queue.
