Like your calming voice. TH-cam is full of shrieking and jumping, jarring gopro clips that never focus on the historic references.
    Your clip is refreshingly different
    Started following you

We have dobe ladakh by bike... waiting to see your leh vdo. Wish you a safe journey.
Agree with your idea about solo travel. So true... i travel solo to listen to my intuition.
Now I head a group of single women... encouraging them to embrace their solo life

I love your attention to details of the architecture. As an art history buff I like it that young tourists are taking so much interest in it....
I resonate with your philosophy of life... choice of music.
    Lovely
Lots of love and best wishes from a senior Indian here.
You mastered the true essense of India -- "take it slow, take it easy"... travel at your own pace. Enjoy... There is no rush... be alert and stay safe. Make friends.
Also as an asian you are much more open minded and open to new experience sans judgement 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Always eat at good reliable places...

It looks wonderful! you have a really nice flow, do you have any tips for solo traveling ( like was to keep safe etc. )? I was thinking about planning a trip to North India

Thank you so much! Means a lot. Yes I do.
      1. Always bring your passport, phone, wallet, keys, the most essential items in a body/belt bag. Even in the hostel I bring this with me when I shower, when I sleep, whatever I do. If you do get something stolen as long as you have wallet and phone you can go to embassy, get a passport, go home.
      2. Keep your items in modular packs! Got a packing cube for daily clothes for the heat, another for formal clothes of winter gear, another for all my toiletries, another for all my first-aid, another for all my electronics. I also have 2 smaller backpacks. This makes it easy to adjust what you need to bring depending on the situation.
      3. Be Kind, Polite, Open, but Firm! Whenever I'm faced with very pushy people trying to sell me stuff or people trying to start a fight, I make it a point to laugh and smile, not aggravate the situation, but at the same time be firm. No means no. I've gotten quite good at saying No with a very friendly smile. Walk away, say no and smile HAHA.
      4. During solo travel trips I don't plan the IT that strictly! I just plan how many days il be in the city and let life happen. Visiting hostels, local eateries, walking around the streets and just being open to the friendly interactions leads to unique moments. This is how I usually find my travel companions for that week
Lemme know if you have more questions!

In terms of staying safe from the physical world
      A. Always find a clean water source or have a water boiler or filter. Go for freshly cooked and hot food. Even if it's dirty the heat will kill most of the bacteria.
      B. Always have the right clothes and medicines and gear for the right situation. (I actually got around 3 vaccinations before visiting India and prepared a lot of stomach medicine, which I did eventually use)

@@lancecheng Thank you! Tip number 1 and 3 are especially helpful, also I was wondering if you have any recommendations for the packing cube you mentioned

@@lancecheng Thank you, you are so incredibly helpful, but I just wanted to ask what food would you especially recommend staying away from, because I’ve heard that the street food is very good but also unhygienic ? Again thank you so much

Not sure where my mom bought the packing cube HAHA! But I'd say to just jump in and wing it! It'll prepare you for the backpacking spirit

The hagglers are so annoying. The government should put in place some firm guidelines.
