would not even consider a larger GD until they sort out the frame issue they are going through.

Matt is definitely living off the fat of the land. NO talk of Lippert and frame flex. We can all agree that this is a beautiful unit, however we have also learned that it's what we don't see can be the problem.

Buy a Grand Design and you are gambling with Frame Flex. I will never purchase a Grand Design based on how they’ve treated their customers the past couple of years regarding frame flex.
I’m really surprised to see this… I thought at least these 2 had alittle integrity left but I’m guessing they don’t.

Looks great! The new colors are really nice. The old Solitude S Class name did cause some confusion. We put 4 people around the small dinette frequently. It is a little tight. The glass washer is a waste of money in my opinion.
I don’t like the location of the pet dishes. Would prefer it at end of island. It’s a beautiful rv but with all the bad press I would never purchase one

Nice floor plan. The cabinets above the couch at the rear of the unit need to have the two left cabinets open with hinges on the left side (not the right). It s very hard to get into the far left cabinet the way it is. Nice closet in bedroom, nice storage in the kitchen.

I get that ppl like all them window because of the light, but I'm a NorthEast guy, and all I'm thinking the heating system will work OT keeping the cold out..
Amazed you didn't "like" that the area for the washer/Dryer was NOT in the closet, but in it's separate area. For me that's a BIG plus.

It's a nice RV but it really isn't anything new. Same floorplan, and a couple of 'updated' features but I don't see any innovations or unique selling points.
Did they put a big enough frame under this one?
Hi Matt and Wil! My dislikes are the same as yours. My likes are the island the bathroom and bedroom meet and the large closet and the floor plan. And colors contemporary creamery. Thank you Matt and Wil and Grand Design. Great job and it’s a very nice Rv.
Really nice lavatory and shower area. I'd like the galley better if they removed the small cabinet above the microwave and move the microwave up higher.
With the issues going on with Grand Design , how can anyone actively support them at the moment? I guess it’s just about who is paying you & giving you free swag
They work in Sales. Grand Design is truly a liability issue going down the road right now hooked up to your truck if something fails, breaks or comes apart. So think hard on that purchase.

No solar? No batteries or battery prep? If you got the generator option what does that do to cargo carrying capacity?
It has solar standard and a solar upgrade option. Like most towable RV’s it doesn’t come with batteries from the factory. It is prepped for batteries. The Onan 5500 generator weighs about 300 pounds. It has about 3,000 pounds of CCC. It would be more of a pin weight concern than a CCC problem. We will probably upgrade to the 8,000 pound axles. We are considering an Influence.

The floorplan as equipped is perfect👍I just prefer to wait until the frame flex and plumbing issues are straightened out before I would purchase a Grand Design 5th wheel🫤
GD = "Grand Disappointment".... I liked these A LOT in the beginning but as time moves along so does my opinions of their units... Not that my opinion is going to put them out of business, but simple common courtesy tagged on to customer service and support can and does go a very long way.... 😢
I am wondering if you have personal experience with their customer service department. I have dealt with them and it was a positive and professional experience. I am very pleased with my Reflection fifth wheel.

Don’t buy that for a minute.
Bad frame will break to many issues . Why not make own sturdy frames and actually make it for f/t. Beware buyers beware
Wasted cabinet above the microwave. Unless you have a drawer that can be tilted down for spices to silverware. Question is there a outlet for the bedside of the closet? To solve the chairs problem put the slide out make a little more room to sit down.
ask for a long unlimited frame warranty in writing
Auto leveling is getting closer to the exterior. Almost…Power recline, nice. Same cheap old window opening, finger pinchers. Not a House when it comes to the sink, money would have been better spent elsewhere. Master Bedroom, nice job. Pantry on the wrong side for road mode, switch the coffee bar with the pantry and the kitchen expands as well doing that.
Anybody who considers purchasing anything from GD needs their head examined. Until GD decides to tell the truth and fix the Frame issues. No way should anyone buy one. Research it throughly

@@042452 Nope I have nothing to do with the RV industry. I am just one of the vast majority of Grand Design owners that are pleased with the product. I am smart enough to not fall for the social media hype created by a statistically extremely small number of people that have had problems. My personal dealings with Grand Design have been top notch.

No cupholder in the recliners,the end tables next to the sofa has no storage. Not a enough room for four chairs at the kitchen table. Why three glass doors and two wooden doors over the sofa cabinet one or the other. Bathroom nice, bedroom ok, kitchen sink is also good. But for 96000 dollars I think they could of done better.

Big factory building with nobody working in it. Says all I need to know.
That area is not a production area. I believe it is in their newer customer service building. Grand Design has multiple large manufacturing plants. I have toured their facilities. It is not uncommon for filmed RV factory tours to be done when they are not in active production. Most of the RV manufacturing workforce is Amish and prefer to not be on video or pictures.
I like Grand Design but they've a way to go to beat Brinkley....
Nice layout but terrible location for dog bowls.
Dislikes.
1. Needs a Four burner stove. Three burner too small.
2.needs trio fridge for larger platters side by side too tight.
3. Needs walk in shower for older people. The step up is a no no, causes falls. Also need deeper shower to accommodate a shower chair with arms.
4. Window show light thru edges. Need edge covers?
5.needs to be 4 feet longer to accommodate the living area and table.
5. Wasted space behind tv , bring out on a door that swing open for shelves.
6. Fireplace should slide out for more storage.(number one thing is you can't have too much storage.) You could put drawers in the stairs for shoes.
7. Kitchen needs diswasher.

1. The hand rail coming in.

3. Bed side tables.
4. Bedroom closet.
Junk. GD needs to focus on 2 things
1. Their frame failures
2. The smoke detector battery

What a sad and unprofessional thing to do go to that place and promote GD after all the stuff and problems they created. You just lost a great deal of creditability in my view.
Better watch out for frame failure
Grand Design and Keystone are the BOEING of the RV industry....ticking time bombs waiting for something catastrophic to happen to the suckers who buy their products.
I feel like this an attempt by Grand Designs to try to make themselves look better. Are those two employees there to censor what is being said? Highly suspect. What is Grand Designs doing to prevent frame flex? What are they doing to improve build quality, quality control, and customer service. I applaud TH-camrs like @RVRigor, @LizAmazing, @PavingNewPaths, and @AmpedtoGlamp who are trying to be agents of change in the RV industry. I haven't even bought an RV and have been wanting to get one for years but the industry is broken and I'm starting to get put off by it. Something needs to change. Matt you have a strong following and a lot of influence, I sure hope that you start holding these companies accountable and start asking them the hard questions.

Just watched a video on this brand and what terrible quality control they have; these people went through hell and back to get them to fix it too.........MAJOR frame issues. Maybe the brand has things worked out? Not sure.....
TLDR grand design kills one of their brands, introduces a new one, raises prices 20 grand to pay for all of their frame failures of the brand they are discontinuing, and then sends out the shills to push the faulty products. What incentives did grand design give general RV for all these fluff videos You are pushing on people. It is sad and pathetic.
Don’t do it. Run. Grand Design is a failed business. Substandard design, shoddy assembly, and poor customer service. They refuse to address frame flex failures.
