Hey Forest River , it’s time to build a better Wolf Pup. My 2021 which I paid a premium for had a large number of loose bolts/ nuts. Had to tighten down the room air and frame on the out riggers. Had to put lock nuts on these floor/wall anchors, The microwave fell out Just driving 20 miles from the rv lot. I resecured the microwave with wood backers and secured out door fridge properly.
Interesting... I wonder how my new 22SW-L manage to pass inspection but have 7 leak areas. For the record I am a full timer, a mechanical design engineer and I still love my camper. Leaks were fixed by the warranty which was approved quickly, unfortunately delays were encountered due to material shipping (current issue in all industries).
Why use wood ?? Makes no sense...are you building wellsfargo 1800s stagecoaches/ sheds in 2022...That a lot of bare wood you guys are using..composite, composite, composite!! In 2022 pvc fake wood like boards/sheets are available..PVC which is lighter, water proof, doesn't split or curl because of dry high heat or suck up moisture and produce mold or rot..in cold weather wood sucks up moisture freezes and also splits..This goes for all RV manufacturers...consumers want RV's to last forever in the elements!!
