"Squeeze Wax" by Cocteau Twins

One of the greatest songs ever by one of the world's most amazing (and still somewhat unheard of) bands. I've been meaning to do a TH-cam cover of this song for like 15 years or so. Better late than never!! I really played around a lot with Liz's playful vocal vibratos and Robin's sweet, ice cream-delicious guitar lines. HOPE YOU LOVE IT!!!

HA! My setup is still so s**t. I use a *vintage* 2007 Macbook to shoot and send it to Garageband for some slapdash guitars and extra vocals. LOL!!🤣

I was introduced to the person that this song is about by her father, backstage in Cleveland, in the early 90's. She was maybe 2 or 3 years old then. Then saw her at other shows, in the audience with what I assumed was a person acting as her nanny. I'm sure they weren't letting many people know that she was on tour with them, so it always felt like a bit of an inside secret when I saw her in the audience. Mitsuo Tate also used to like to go into the audience before shows. Obviously, the principles didn't have that luxury. I'd like to think that Lucy's heard and liked your version.

Your cover of this incredible song transports me to a wondrous place Matt. I’m standing in the hallway on a train going through Southern France looking out of the window at an ever changing landscape and a sky full of wispy clouds.
