This is a great video. I have a 2014 Nissan Maxima and I’m going to change my spark plugs. What spark do you recommend for my car and the torque do I need?

I have a valve gasket leak so there recommending I replace that and the spark plugs at the same time, I don’t want to spend nearly $1k for both to be done, if I were to have one done before the other which one would you recommend? I have a 2018 Nissan Altima 2.5L S

This is not 1k job why don’t u try another mechanic. And 2018 is too erly for to be leaking but u never know alsongood mechanic can change the spark plugs free since it will all be open when doing the gasket anyways they both would be good idea to do togather since it will all be apart try talking to another mechanic shop

How often should you change the Coil / Plug boots? I want to do a tune-up on my car, and will be replacing the plugs, but should I get new boots and/or the coil packs?

@@RBTheMechanic I had a little tougher time getting the harness out of the module but figured it out with a small flathead screwdriver. The sparkplug in #1 cylinder was a little stubborn getting out, but I got them all, the new ones in and it purrs like a kitten. I bought a magnetic 14 MM socket , which helped even more!

Before removing the old spark plugs try to tighten it first so you can get the idea or leave one of the old spark plugs in, remove the rest and use that one to measure the ones you put in.
