Imagine half of the ACC trying to go to the SEC and you have Liberty, Marshall, Coastal Carolina, and App state walk in the ACC room, “uhh y’all got more room”?
That's not the ACC way. They like to raid the Big East, which the AAC is basically Big East 2.0 so they'll go after USF, ECU, and Navy, plus convince UCon to leave the Independent scene.
Sure, VT needs a win or two. Also, don't forget JMU, ODU and Eastern Carolina. We can be the Sunbelt of the East Coast once Clemson and FSU leave.

@@etwa8206 The story goes that, when oil money started pouring into state coffers, the state was going to set aside the same amount of money for both A&M and UT, the only two state schools at the time. A&M was the smaller school and said, "We'll just take a percentage equivalent to our size." Hence all the dumb Aggie jokes.

Sure, LSU has returned to its rightful Omaha home, and watching the Lady Tigers not miss a single bucket for a half of basketball against the next generational talent in the sport was fun, but my soul is parched for midweek football humor. And brother, this video is like Thanksgiving, Christmas, the first day of crawfish season, and beating Bama on a 2-pt conversion in OT all rolled into one.

@WelRedd I agree, and disagree. Trust me..., they can't keep Georgia Tech off their minds. The latest rumor is Georgia Tech possibly going into the Big Ten (hopefully, they'll soon realize that their are more than 10 teams).
Well GT was one of the founding teams of the SEC but left in the 60's due to disagreeing with some sketchy practices by other teams that the conference refused to crack down on.

Just a reminder that Mizzou has more SEC Championship game appearances than six teams in the conference and we’ve been more recently than eight teams in the conference.
I'm a UK fan that appreciate Mizzou. It hurts my soul that y'all have been there twice and we never have, and I feel a kinship as an outsider, since Kentucky is the basketball school I've many times gotten the vibe that we don't really belong, even though I'm the rare football first UK guy.

The fact that we can’t play the 3 closest teams to us (and our 3 biggest conference rivals) is messed up. But that’s what happens when the SEC picks things.
As a Georgia fan I consider South Carolina a bigger rival than Kentucky but I’m pretty sure ESPN is behind the schedules. They obviously want the match up that will bring in the best ratings.

The Big Ten's schedule overhaul is just as bad, Penn State isn't guaranteed to play Ohio State or Michigan in any given year, and they're really Penn State's only two chances to prove their strength within the conference

Texas has Michigan too. Just to give a little history. Texas vs Texas A&M, Texas leads the series 76-37-5 over 118 meetings, and won the last meeting in 2011 at Kyle Field. Oklahoma vs Texas Texas leads the series all-time at 63-51-5 (119). Texas and Arkansas first met in 1894 in a 54-0 victory by Texas. The two programs have met 78 times. This was a huge rivalry game for Arkansas. Texas and Mississippi State are 2-2. Texas and Kentucky 1 with Texas winning that. Texas vs Florida 3 times with 1 tie and 2 wins for Texas. Texas vs Georgia 5 times with Texas winning 4. Texas vs Michigan. 1 time 1 win for Texas. The only team on our schedule that we haven't beaten more times than they have beaten us is Vanderbilt. Texas holds an all-time 3-8-1 record head-to-head against Vanderbilt. That just tells you that tings change over time. The Longhorns lead the all-time series with a record of 9-7-1 against LSU and To date, the Crimson Tide and the Longhorns have played 10 times. Texas holds a 7-2-1 all-time series lead over Alabama. So Keep laughing. Good luck to everyone in the SEC and I mean that. It should be interesting.
