UPenn Pre-Orientation Program | (Advancing Women in Engineering!)

Enjoy this vlog of my experience as a mentor for Advancing Women in Engineering (AWE), one of Penn's pre-orientation programs!! For the three days before New Student Orientation, I helped incoming female-identifying Penngineers get acclimated to college by giving tours of Penn's campus, major-specific advice (computer science), taking them out to explore Philly, etc.
My freshman year, I participated in the AWE pre-O program and met some of my best friends through it. Given 40% of all women in Penn Engineering's class of 2026 participated in AWE, it was so rewarding to come back this year as a volunteer, even though the packed schedule was utterly exhausting! Go Penngineering!
