Throwback to when MMF thought it'd be edgy af to do a Pyramid Cheerleading Pose during a crabby breakdown, baha. Holy fukkkk. I miss these Crab days though
I looked at all the other bands from that night, and none of them screamed anything like their actual studio quality tracks. Then I come to this, and serj sounds beastly.
They did really good here. And they are very lucky to have rtmconcerts filming this whole thing. This is going to make it alot easier for them to get somewhere with the band.
@batllama He is using the headset mic so he can sing comfortably, he sings very high and if you notice, he gets into some awkward positions when hitting those notes, And this would not be possible with a mic stand. His voice would dip in and out, and it would sound terrible. This mic allows him to sound great, while still move around, it is a brilliant idea, and I wouldn't be surprised if it gets used more often. Plenty of vocalists use wireless mics, why can't guitarists?
12 year late but here "Girl, I know there's day I'll meet you Again and you will ask me, You'll beg me to stay But all of your hope are your wishes and prays They won't guide your way They won't guide your way, whoa Give up your ambitions Nothing's gonna be the same Go play your selfish game"
@toThe9thPower Im aware of that, its just that everybody complains about these guys doing it :/ and tbh there are some parts that dont really need backtracking that Serj can just do back up on, like in "We Know its Real."
@Kussinator plenty of people use backtracking, they are obviously singing and screaming, and sounding amazing, so what the fuck would it matter if they added in some of the overlapping parts?
The backing Harmonie and scream tracks and all that Are an excellent idea! Makes the band Sound so much fuller live, not that they aren't already amazing ^_^
Eh, that doesn't really matter as long as it sounds close. He is probably playing in a different tuning live then what the song was written in, so he adjusted. Half of my bands songs are in C# and some are in C, but I just keep the guitar in C live and adjust when C# songs come up instead of taking time to tune or switch guitars.
@rockrule80 i couldn't agree more. so why are these guys focusing so much on their image? as for the stage presence- that's a part of the live performance, doesn't really have to do with image.
@tonyt700 Triggers hahaha if you listen to most drummers these days, they sound clicky. Because from playing on tour so much and having it in a trailer with different ranging temperatures, it gets untuned easily. So they use triggers for quality purpose.
Like I said they COVERED it, answer me this: How did that guy on TH-cam have a video cover with a RECORDING of it in the background when Make Me Famous hasn't even released their album nor do they have this intro on their album.
@TheRealCMFX I get what you're saying, they chug a lot in their songs, and that's considered easy. have you tried learning the strumming patterns in those chugs? they sound easy but those patterns will jack your brain. and to be able to create a sick sounding rhythm with just one chord can be pretty hard(but isn't always, but I would guess the easy breakdown rhythms have already been used lol) and as that one dude said, their song "This Song is Blacker Than Black Metal" is fairly technical.
@Karle07 in "this song is blacker than... "and "im a traitor" the guitars are much more technical... i hate people who complains about them but doesn't know what their are talking about.
@ForgetTheForgiven no. they never had anyone before jace. the guy in the make it precious music video was in this just because they needed someone. they were in ukraine. and jace was in the usa. the songs were done without a drummer. denis programmed them.
Jimmy is so fucking small... Hahahahaha It's awesome. Can't wait to see these guys! Unfortunately, we are the last date on the tour. Kettering Ohio represent!
@batllama thats you. Not him. Soo I don't see how that is relevant. He needs it to hit those high notes. Otherwise everyone would talk shit about him not hitting them right
Sure they deserve a chance like everybody else out there trying to make it with their music. But along with the matching ripped t-shirts and the choreographed headbanging/stage performance, this is the gayist thing i have ever seen.
Throwback to when MMF thought it'd be edgy af to do a Pyramid Cheerleading Pose during a crabby breakdown, baha. Holy fukkkk. I miss these Crab days though
Denis is definitely one of the best clean vocalists around.
One thing I really admire of this guys is how they show their passion and joy of playing together in every show.
I ain't even mad, I think the headset thing is pretty creative. Nobody in the scene does it.
I still get the chills when ever I watch this. Best concert ever. Hands down.
2:46 they starting new concept !! "cheerleader CORE" wtf did i just see -_-
I'm seeing these guys in march!
This intro is also in Attack Attack's first album song "Interlude"
I looked at all the other bands from that night, and none of them screamed anything like their actual studio quality tracks. Then I come to this, and serj sounds beastly.
gonna see them this saturday in NYC!!!!!!!
@Danielhannahmoo Lol you need to watch him unplugged, he does not use auto tune.
They did really good here. And they are very lucky to have rtmconcerts filming this whole thing. This is going to make it alot easier for them to get somewhere with the band.

Well now that I torrented the album, I see it is there, but the other video was out before their album leaked.
does anyone know what denis sings in the first clean singing part ? please write the text here.
12 year late but here "Girl, I know there's day I'll meet you
Again and you will ask me,
You'll beg me to stay
But all of your hope are your wishes and prays
They won't guide your way
They won't guide your way, whoa
Give up your ambitions
Nothing's gonna be the same
Go play your selfish game"
I'm addicted to this video
Good to know Devin doesn't autotune. He sings really well live too :]
were the backtracks that quiet live? or is it just the way you mixed it?
and this video of the intro ur on right now was out before his video....
Just noticed, Random. Did you take down the Memphis May Fire vids??
Did you film make it precious?
@yesifailed you saw them at sunset?
@amandabounasis he filmed the entire set but he didnt get the permission to upload make it precious and we know it's real.
Cool headset bro..
I do the same thing with my turtle beaches while playing guitar hero
Danm can't wait for the full album!! ;D
@Kussinator because they didn't play it. they had to cut their setlist. on every gig they have played so far.
Also. Look at how much fun they're all having
@toThe9thPower Im aware of that, its just that everybody complains about these guys doing it :/ and tbh there are some parts that dont really need backtracking that Serj can just do back up on, like in "We Know its Real."
this is a good band. Stop hating for once. You go listen to what you like and we'll listen to this.
@DaylightSlave so its been cut from every gig? D:
Was it ripped white tshirt day?
WHY ARE THERE NO VIDEOS OF EARTH....
the other band posted the song in 2010 lmao Make Me Famous covered it
@AustynIsInSPACE Listen to the beginning, I hear the same as "hey" and the first strikes the drums are identical with FAIRYTALE! Jelissa Rose).
@Kussinator plenty of people use backtracking, they are obviously singing and screaming, and sounding amazing, so what the fuck would it matter if they added in some of the overlapping parts?
@Kussinator that is your opinion.
The backing Harmonie and scream tracks and all that Are an excellent idea! Makes the band Sound so much fuller live, not that they aren't already amazing ^_^
can you post We Know It's Real and Earth?
I believe the ripped t-shirt thing was because they were shooting a live video.
@AustynIsInSPACE the backing tracks were that quiet.
@marksmusicful thats odd, I've seen them twice. They were good for me.
@rockrule80 i couldn't agree more. so why are these guys focusing so much on their image?
as for the stage presence- that's a part of the live performance, doesn't really have to do with image.
hey look denis is play xbox and playing his set all at the same time. man he is so talented.
Good intro. Gets the crowd pumped up.
was thinking the same thing
@tonyt700 Triggers hahaha if you listen to most drummers these days, they sound clicky. Because from playing on tour so much and having it in a trailer with different ranging temperatures, it gets untuned easily. So they use triggers for quality purpose.
Like I said they COVERED it, answer me this: How did that guy on TH-cam have a video cover with a RECORDING of it in the background when Make Me Famous hasn't even released their album nor do they have this intro on their album.
they're called live triggers
why didnt you record earth?
@WoeIsVengeance Sorry wait, wheres your signed band?
Denis' friend, Oliver Rose has a band, and they gave their song to mmf. That vid is cover
i have done bttr. what have you done?
So not digging the headset mic :/
@ThatSMGGuy okay?
what was the point of telling me any of that?
It's now or never + inception ?
god these guys are original....
@matt10394 wait....are you calling this hardcore?
Does the drummer use a triple bass pedal? O_o
I think this band is awesome, these three live videos can show Denis is a amazing live singer
im in love cause all i hear is bass, BLAST THT SHIT
@bevanclan well what kind of stage presence do you expect from them? Backflips or some shit? I honestly don't expect anything better from you.
@ForgetTheForgiven no. they never had anyone before jace. the guy in the make it precious music video was in this just because they needed someone. they were in ukraine. and jace was in the usa. the songs were done without a drummer. denis programmed them.
wow the bass drum is sooo clicky...
Hopefully Serj will be able to do the backup clean vocals, so there doesn't need to be a backtrack for it >
CHECK OUT Ascending Lines
I can respect that.
the clicky double bass is because theyre hooked up to triggers.
@Kussinator yea
serj is really giving his all
@EddieLee209 fairytale by jelissa rose? i just listened to it, its just a melodic deathcore song, nothing was even similar to what is in this video.
Jimmy is so fucking small... Hahahahaha It's awesome. Can't wait to see these guys! Unfortunately, we are the last date on the tour. Kettering Ohio represent!
@marksmusicful make me famous is not "very technical" in any sense of the phrase.
Anybody else notice somebody fixing Dusty's cymbal at 2:33?
thumbs up if you recognized serj's brutal facial expression at 4:00
Aha someone said "FuckingBeautifulCore" . New genre title and it is a beautiful one indeed
@LostNtheMelodies he sings "that would be a world so vicious"
3:44
Dickey7861 what the fuck mr dickster was a fan of mmf???? Fuckin sick dude I know you won’t read this but I personally love the fuck outta you
@TheBetweenJapan better than me ? lmao okay ill let you think that just give me a year and see where im at bro!
@batllama thats you. Not him. Soo I don't see how that is relevant. He needs it to hit those high notes. Otherwise everyone would talk shit about him not hitting them right
the intro sounds like interlude of attack attack!
The only one i think is good is the screamer. Headset mic is weird...
Album just released want they already have a grammy? Woah
what is this?? high school musical :O
looks like denis finally made it to america
I wonder how long it will take for this band to fade into obscurity....
Hopefully not long.
@matt10394 kind of,yeah
they are actually a hardcore band. not a metalcore. the haters is just like open their mouth before their mind
i really hope the intro is on the cd too cuz its pretty fucking sick
@WoeIsVengeance What are you waiting for? Go ahead!
cheerleader core?
@MetalxShredder600 I'm aware.
@ADTR3421 dusty, jace, and ???
@tonyt700 its because of the camera
Sure they deserve a chance like everybody else out there trying to make it with their music. But along with the matching ripped t-shirts and the choreographed headbanging/stage performance, this is the gayist thing i have ever seen.
@Danielhannahmoo They're completely different.
@TheRealCMFX ya you like them and i dont. but i dont go on their videos and put stupid comments.
@WoeIsVengeance well actually is post hardcore, but i know that feel bro.
