Sal, you have probably been notified of this but at time 5:25 it should be y=-cx/d + f/[d]....not f/[y]. Thanks for the great vids. I always learn more here in a day than I do in a whole semester at my community college.
@@novaastronomia8720 I was worried I did the equation twice, sometimes in maths weird happens, but here I just think his writing is unclear so he got mixed up....also the x looked like a z...the point is taken re the non-intersection. Interesting that "intuition" is used. It means you try and see the numbers and symbols as a kind of "thing".....something like that...
... oh and by the way, this was one of your best videos... you were very clear, thourough and explained everything in a way that everyone can understand while maintaining mathematical integrity.
also, can u plz post a problem with an introduction to what vectors are... it's hard to understand your previous video with the graphical representation of the vector matrix without the background. thanks Sal!
Great Video. Thanks Mr. Khan. You are brilliant and at the same time a great Man. In this one topic, u refreshed my memory of so many topics - linear algebra, vector analysis and of course singular matrices. Thanks for your noble generosity to the world community. Good Luck.
Thanks dude! This term 'singular' has been annoying me. Why is a matrix that DOESN'T have just a single solution called 'singular'? It seems exactly opposite to how it should be called.
+Incrue If he remade videos instead of "just giving it subtitles to fix thigs", there'd be less time to teach new material. It'd be better if TH-cam would let users do a simple edit (maybe a picture-on-video overlay, in this case) without starting from scratch and losing previous views. This, of course, doesn't comment about copyright laws.
port566 He should focus on what he's good, there are plenty of other sources to learn biology or history, but as for math and physics noone explains better than Sal
I would like to fix these vids and reupload them but I'm afraid I'd get sued. XD. Honestly, I'm considering doing it anyway and begging Sal to give me a job since I can't do much else in life.
Sal, (or Khan Academy as a whole) please consider remaking these videos, they are difficult to understand on account of the frequent corrections in the corners and the low video quality in general.
of course - i appreciate all khan academy content. It's amazing. But this particular video is unwatchable - all the breath noises and pops are too horrible. my ears are bleeding lol RE-DO THIS ONE! or at least, dub with a new-voice over or something.

Love the 4k resolution
did you pass the exam?
This video was posted in 2008 when most videos weren't HD yet
@@Obianthegreat do you have minimum level of sarcasm?
most important videos are made at 240p but most cringe videos are made at 4K
5:45 -> f/d, not f/y
Sal it is f/d and not f/y.
You're right.

thank you! I knew there was another big brain person in the comments that saw it too!
13:29 A lil' bit of One Direction

Someone actually explained this properly, i am eternally grateful ☺️☺️☺️
f/d....not f/y

Love it. Got the intuition, thanks!
dude... it's f/d
watching these video playlist with another tab opened and playing interstellar music at 30% volume is so awesome
thak you .. وشكرا للي ترجم المقطع والله
great video but when he finds the equations of the two lines is f/d and not f/y
Thank you sir..with Little mixing of f/d with f/y but its more than enough
Grinding the linear algebra playlist day 1; Thanks for all of your previous and future efforts Sal.
Did you watched the whole playlist ?
Spot the error at 6min? In general good video
This is such a great complementary video on inverse matrices! THANKS!
good explanation

The noises of birds in the background is relaxing. :)
this is brilliant ..........
intuition master
8:14 not true for all values of x and y, just the values (x,y) that are on that line.
I like the sound of the birds in the background
Best!!!
Ditto, me too.
In school, when do we start learning this?
I hope there is a new video whcih the resolution should be higher and the mistake can be corrected
does it make sense to call a non square matrix a singular matrix?
I wish Sal consider remaking those videos instead of just giving it subtitles to fix thigs
I want to download and save this stuff

f over d.... not over y
its f/d
in cambodia we study it in university !!!!!
i am so confused with this one

What is he really referring to at 13:28 ...
Algebra I
Who else is here because there teacher can't explain well on online classes [2020]
Sooo if my teacher asks me for a singular matrix I show him that and I will get full marks!!
