Thank you for this great comparison and great playing. I agree with Muzik Brass that the Syos do lack some depth here. However I would like to add a small comment. These are custom made signature mouthpieces designed to the personal wishes of Tyvon Pennicott and Bob Witthaker, who, like me, both play on old Conn tenors. From my own experience I know that many mouthpieces can sound different on large bore sax designs such as the Conns or other old Americans in contrast to for example European or Asian designed saxes. I also play an old Keilwerth and I can say that some mouthpieces that sound great on the Conns just don't work at all on the Keilwerth. My point is that I think that in particular the TP and BW are designed to play on Conn tenors. I am sure it will make a huge difference. Well, just hear Tyvon and Bob play. I might do a comparison vid myself in the future. Just my two cents. O I forgot to add... I also prefer your sound on the Berg Larsen.

Jak zwykle świetny odcinek 😊 Dopiero odkryłam pana kanał i uczę się gry na saksofonie altowym i jestem zachwycona kanałem,szanuję za ogrom wiedzy i profesjonalizmu, sporo można się nauczyć i nie jest to marnowanie czasu przy byle filmikach ❤🎷 Oglądam że skupieniem i poleciała subskrypcja co rzadko jedno z drugim się zdarza 🎵

Odcinek w samą porę, bo rozważam zakup SYOS :-).
Dla mnie innowacją jest fakt, że nie są to kolejne repliki Otto linków czy Berg Larsenów ale zupełnie autorska koncepcja. Kupując ustnik SYOS artist otrzymujesz ustnik już po "refacingu" gdyż w tym przypadku wszystkie korekty wykonuje drukarka. W przeciwieństwie do tradycyjnych ustników, w których korekty zostają wykonane indywidualnie dla danego artysty i stanowią o unikalnym brzmieniu danego egzemplarza. Wniosek, powtarzając za Leszkiem, jeżeli nie brzmisz dobrze to pretensje możesz mieć tylko do siebie :-).

i think that the SYOS lack a little bit depth. I have tried several Syos alto mouthpieces in Paris at the factory (I am from France Paris), the concept is good and innovative but i think that the sound is tight on these mouthpieces. "It s my own opinion of course". I prefer your sound on the Berg Larsen.
