I think your deck has promise but I do have friendly advice & constructive criticism. Upstart Golden Ninja is okay but not really needed especially as the trap count is kinda low. I would recommend using the other Ninja Field Spell “Tenchu Kami” as it’s an incredible card to use in your deck as its devastating to use against your opponent. When you inflict battle damage (Meizen let’s all Ninjas attack directly) you can destroy ANY card on the field, then if your opponent destroys or banishes the Field card you get to Special Summon as many Ninjas as you can from the Grave in face down defence. Such an underrated card. Also Meizen is one of if not your best Extra Deck Ninja and should always be played at 3. The Fusion The Ultimate Insect is again a fantastic card to use as all it takes is an insect with 2000 or more defence (Mitsu) with an equip card attached and he comes out with an amazing attack and if you or your opponent has a Field Spell on the board ( also another reason to play both) he nukes your opponent’s board. Also Borrelsword Dragon is a much better choice with Iron Digger he can attack directly as he is now a ninja and totally helps OTK. I’m a HUGE Ninja fan and these are just some ideas and recommendations if you don’t take them then fair enough, but if they help which I hope they do then I’m glad I can help a fellow ninja player 🙂🥷🏻
Personally Jogen is the only one really worth playing if I’m honest as he is pretty much free a special summon with a Ninjitsu in hand, both together are not needed as there are so many ways to get your ninjas on the field, they feel too cloggy in this new deck and more hand traps are definitely needed, ash, droll, imperm these are far better resources as this deck is built to interrupt your opponent and then direct attack for game. I hope this helps this Is just my opinions but I’ve played Ninjas since the beginning as they are my favourite and I hope these insights are helpful 🙂
Always appreciate advice, yeah I like just the one upstart as I play a few more traps than other builds I've seen. Borrelsword dragon I completely forgot but with be putting in the extra!
I have started testing 1 copy of Golden Ninja too, not as a starter but to summon off Meizen, if you use it in your turn agaisnt a disruption it's incredible, generates so much advantage; Hanzo into Baku to retrieve a Ninjitsu if you discarded lessens the cost. Also, it existing in the deck gives you the chance of siding and running more traps, and using the extra copies of Dancing Leaves/Duplication you won't need. Other interesting one is Getsuga ofc, but honestly that one is harder to trigger consistently agaisnt the best decks; would side maybe to wreck non-meta lol.
