@Taylor Swiftie oh wow 😮 yeah that'd be a really cool video to see! I feel like it should include a comparison list between different products based on ingredients
NOTES: I. Cleansers A. Basic Cleansers 1. Cerave Hydrating Cleanser - for dry skin - mild 2. Cerave Foaming Cleanser - combination/oily/sometimes normal skin = These can come in mini-sizes that are cheaper = Simple and non-irritating that maintain your moisture barrier B. Treatment Cleansers 1. Cerave Renewing SA Cleanser - simple and basic but with salicylic acid - Not as strong as The Inkey List 2. The Inkey List Salicylic Acid Cleanser - Hyram’s personal fave SA cleanser = has extra exfoliating ingredients for acne, dead skin cells, clogged pores = provides a 2-in-1 experience (cleanser PLUS treatment) if in case you cannot opt for two separate products II. Treatment A. Exfoliant 1. The Inkey List Glycolic Acid Toner - removes dead skin cells - very strong, use at most three times a week 2. The Inkey List Beta Hydroxy Acid Serum - salicylic acid - less sensitizing = use at night for best results 3. The Ordinary 0.5% Retinol and Squalane - - strong - - squalane is a moisturizing oil that helps prevent dryness = USE RETINOL 1 TIME PER WEEK AT NIGHT, MAXIMUM OF 3 TIMES A WEEK ONCE THE SKIN IS USED TO IT = Hyram’s recommendation: Exfoliant on one night, Retinol on one night, and the other nights use moisturizer alone (per week) B. Niacinamide = for hyperpigmentation and dark spots within the skin = reduces redness and sensitivity = good for all skin types = reduces oil and sebum production = great antioxidant 1. Good Molecules Niacinamide Serum 10% - almost same ingredients and same price point as The Ordinary III. Moisturizers 1. Cerave Moisturizing Cream 2. Cerave Moisturizing Lotion = basic, simple, but good = comes in mini-sizes (that aren’t actually “mini” since the normal sizes are HUGE) = has niacinamide and ceramides = having a basic moisturizer is enough if you already have good treatments IV. Sunscreen = not using a sunscreen whilst using other products nullifies the effect of the other products, in fact, it’ll make your skin worse 1. Sun Bum Mineral Tinted Sunscreen SPF 30 = easy to find = good for sensitive skin = feels like a makeup primer = may not work for all skin tones :( = does not feel heavy and greasy

@Taylor Swiftie I totally struggle with that. My mom imported some stuff for my birthday but normally it's too expensive for myself. I'm now focussing on korean skincare, which is cheaper somehow
You guys are lucky! When I was a teen (eons ago) we had " suntan lotion" with 4 spf, so we could tan evenly without burning. As you can imagine by this point my main problem is age/sun spots :(
Yes yall are super lucky. Im in my twenties and no one really ever told me the importance of sunscreen (I did have on and off skincare, love cetaphil moisturizer and missha super aqua gel cream) or the beauty of niacinamide and salicylic acid.
It’s nice to hear teens excited about sunscreen. I’ve always had to wear it from a young age otherwise I’d look like a lobster because I’m very pale. Now I’m 33 and definitely look younger than that. Well some of it is genetic, but the sunscreen helped a lot. And resisting the tanning bed craze back when I was a teen.

I sincerely thank you for all the time and passion you pour in every video. You are a big inspiration to me! I'm sending you a big social-distanced hug from Spain! ❤
Hyram!! I like this video. I hope you'll expand this idea into a series, like how you'll create a skincare routine for people who are under 20s, 30s, 40s, and 50s. Or maybe, you can create a Korean, Japanese, or European skincare because a lot of your viewers are not from the states. I remember for youvi began to take care of my skin ,i really need a skin care routine for hipermentation . And for think on people that don't have much money special rigth now God bless your life ..
REMINDER: a $50 skin care routine isn't $50 you have to fork up every month!!! Or even on a regular basis! If you can set asside $20 you can start building up your routine! And you won't have to re-purchase that product for a while! It's do-able! Tougher for some than others, but do-able! =D
@@leonardovelasquezmagino9671 you can buy all the stuff at the beginning, but some stuff lasts more than a month, so it ends up costing only about $20 a month
@@ac9058 smths it can cost less, there's a brand called revox that's basically like the ordinary but cheaper, idk where u from but check you local shops, there's a lot of hidden gems, my advice is to learn abt ingredients so u can look into cheap skincare and see if its act look bc a lot of the time those hidden gems don't have online reviews
Would LOVE if you did a skin care routine timetable! How often you should use things, when to use products (day/night) and how to layer! Feel a bit overwhelmed as I feel I should be using everything all the time!!! Lots of love 💙💙
I started to really take skincare seriously within the last 2 years, basically when I reached my 20's. Before I was doing the bare minimum, only washing my face with water! So I have been watching Hyram and he has taught me so much! My skin is so much better for it! Thank you Hyram for all that you do!!!
I love that he's also honest about his breakouts and that doesn't hide them. Actually, it makes him a lot more genuine to see that he occasionally has acne, you know? A lot more different than celebrities that hide their acne and/or cure them by getting expensive treatments, while promoting unhealthy stuff (like their own BAD skincare line)
He’s talked about it in other videos. You can cleanse AM & PM The exfoliant kinda depends on the type. Most you could use about 3 times a week AHAs you could probably use every other day You should use them at night like he said in this video Same with retinol. Once you’re skin is good with it, you can use it about 3 times a week, at night. Basically what he said in this video. Exfoliate, retinol, break, and start over again. Niacinamide you can use twice a day as well Moisturizer you use twice a day Sun Screen in the AM
I needed you to post this. OMG, after founding your channel only 3 months ago, my skin has gotten so much better. I was able to buy skincare products under 45$💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾 But trust me it's so much for me as a college student in Ghana 🇬🇭🥳 Thank you Hyram.
I'm so happy I found you for an year now, your tips and knowledgment changed my skin like nothing else has before. I struggle with adult acne for a long time now and now that I follow your advices and know a lot more about the skincare world, I'm finally gettting the results I wanted. Thank you for sharing what you do best, Hyram! Love from Portugal ✨
1. Cleansers → double/triple cleansing (oil cleanser, treatment cleanser with salicylic acid) 2. Treatments → exfoliation (glycolic acid or BHA acid) 1 to 3 times a week at night or retinol (for wrinkles) no more than once a week at first (so exfoliation monday-retinol tuesday-nothing wednesday) 3. Moisturizer →even something basic will work 4. Sunscreen →mineral based is better for sensitive skin (like sunbum) however won't fit every skintone
okay so cleansing: CeraVe cleanser or foaming cleanser exfoliation: The inky lost beta hydroxy acid serum (i’m not sure if it’s and *or* or so somebody tell me) The ordinary 0.5% retinol in squalane moisturising: CeraVe moisturising cream or lotion sunscreen: SunBum mineral tinted sunscreen SPF 30
FYI I use bioré aqua rich watery essence. SPF is 50 (though I’ve heard it’s really just 30 that matters, not sure? I’m new here so forgive me :D) I’m south Asian, darker skin, and I love it. It’s light, it’s a korean brand, and since it’s water based you put it on after your moisturizer and leaves you feeling super refreshed! You can find it on Amazon, I think it’s $17 so same as the sun bum recommendation! @L E

Thank you for your guidance and information :)
I’ve been using the Cerave foaming cleanser for only about 2 weeks now but I’m already seeing a major difference in my skin and it feels great, thank you so much hyram! ❤️
I just love Hyram's sense of humor and how he goes straight to the point answering the questions. Whenever I watch beauty videos they beat around the bush for ages until they finally explain the thing I need to know and sometimes they don't at all :P so tiring and timewasting :P
Please expand on the links between a healthy diet and acne prone skin. I'm in my mid-20s and I still get hella whiteheads on my chin and blackheads and breakouts in my t-zone. Your recommendations have improved my skin in so many ways, but I still have lots to learn.

@Taylor Swiftie he said you should look at the ingredients of any products you have there. I live in Middle East and t
@Taylor Swiftie I would say to maybe try and find a blogger/youtuber/content creator that talks about these things who is also centered in India, Hyram is centered in the US and so that makes up most of what he is talking about
I remember for youvi began to take care of my skin ,i really need a skin care routine for hipermentation .
how can i do that? Can you explain a litle bit more?
@@leonardovelasquezmagino9671 you can buy all the stuff at the beginning, but some stuff lasts more than a month, so it ends up costing only about $20 a month
@@ac9058 smths it can cost less, there's a brand called revox that's basically like the ordinary but cheaper, idk where u from but check you local shops, there's a lot of hidden gems, my advice is to learn abt ingredients so u can look into cheap skincare and see if its act look bc a lot of the time those hidden gems don't have online reviews

I started to really take skincare seriously within the last 2 years, basically when I reached my 20's. Before I was doing the bare minimum, only washing my face with water! So I have been watching Hyram and he has taught me so much! My skin is so much better for it! Thank you Hyram for all that you do!!!
I don’t want no scrub, a scrub is skincare that can’t get no love from me, hanging out the skin care isle, seeing St Ives tryna holler at me 🙅🏻♀️
Youre a freaking GENIUS
Omg yes
AJAHAHH
i sang this with an attitude lol
🤣🤣🤣🤣
i love the fact that this is hyram “breaking out” 🧍🏼
I love that he's also honest about his breakouts and that doesn't hide them. Actually, it makes him a lot more genuine to see that he occasionally has acne, you know? A lot more different than celebrities that hide their acne and/or cure them by getting expensive treatments, while promoting unhealthy stuff (like their own BAD skincare line)
Tell me why I almost cried when he took the extra time to make a clip for the parents 😭
“Keep being a good parent, you rock”
can you explain more on exactly when to use each product? like what to use in the morning and what to use at night
yes yes yes!! i need this video.
He’s talked about it in other videos.
You can cleanse AM & PM
The exfoliant kinda depends on the type. Most you could use about 3 times a week
AHAs you could probably use every other day
You should use them at night like he said in this video
Same with retinol. Once you’re skin is good with it, you can use it about 3 times a week, at night.
Basically what he said in this video. Exfoliate, retinol, break, and start over again.
Niacinamide you can use twice a day as well
Moisturizer you use twice a day
Sun Screen in the AM
@@Winstar66 thank you !!

hyram on behalf of everyone: WE LOVE YOU
I'm so happy I found you for an year now, your tips and knowledgment changed my skin like nothing else has before. I struggle with adult acne for a long time now and now that I follow your advices and know a lot more about the skincare world, I'm finally gettting the results I wanted. Thank you for sharing what you do best, Hyram! Love from Portugal ✨
‘so that you can see my videos....every single week’ omg love him 🤍
1. Cleansers → double/triple cleansing (oil cleanser, treatment cleanser with salicylic acid)
2. Treatments → exfoliation (glycolic acid or BHA acid) 1 to 3 times a week at night or retinol (for wrinkles) no more than once a week at first (so exfoliation monday-retinol tuesday-nothing wednesday)
3. Moisturizer →even something basic will work
4. Sunscreen →mineral based is better for sensitive skin (like sunbum) however won't fit every skintone
“If you’re looking for scrubs, go to a hospital girl” LMAO I DIED. I love u hyram
Who else has got used to doing the shoulder thing when Hyram says “every single week”
okay so
cleansing: CeraVe cleanser or foaming cleanser
exfoliation: The inky lost beta hydroxy acid serum (i’m not sure if it’s and *or* or so somebody tell me) The ordinary 0.5% retinol in squalane
moisturising: CeraVe moisturising cream or lotion
sunscreen: SunBum mineral tinted sunscreen SPF 30
You can use both!!! But he says one night apiece per week(not the same night) with only moisturizer every other night
