My prediction (I write it on August the 23rd) is the following: Shape and dimensions of Apple TV 4K. One Ethernet port, 3 x 4TB ports and... it is. One 4TB will be the power cable, the other 2 will be to the monitor, ethernet to the internet. The rest will be connected via wifi or bluetooth and mini will be quite portable computer with a portable monitor. (edited the same day 23rd of August: And the basic model will start with - OF COURSE - 8GB RAM and 256 GB drive... about 599 USD.
Interesting prediction. I really hope you're correct about the price but wrong about that RAM. Though, knowing Apple - 8GB definitely feels like something they might continue to do. 😭
When everybody says they want Apple to make 16GB the new default, the part they're not saying out loud is they also want the same base price. Apple didn't become a trillion dollar company by giving away free DDR5 RAM.
I suspect it might not make it in time for the back-to-school deal. While the M4 chip has been released in the iPad, the Mac Mini M4 is rumored to be coming in October. If you’re keen on the deal, it might be better to go for the M2 model now, as the new Mini could arrive just after the promotion ends.
This maybe an unpopular opinion but I have always thought the Mini to be a more relevant product than the iMac in today’s market. Because the peripherals are separate it just offers more bang for the buck. I would rather see a Mini, studio and Pro lone of that form factor with an investment in a lineup of monitors rather than an iMac.
Having more colors would be good and less boring. But we need more ports than the M2 Macmini, not less. And at least 1 Tb of storage or more free icould storage. Give us 128 Gb per device and not per apple id.
Smaller & fanless means deliberate cpu throttle to push users to upgrade to mac studio, dont sell your m2 mac mini. Same logic as macbook air fanless. Hope ram is not reduced to 4 GB.
If they do make it smaller, I hope they don't remove any more ports. Apple has already been getting stingier with the ports on the lower-end M1 and M2 models. You already have to step up tp an M2 Pro ($1300) just to get 4 thunderbolt/USB-C ports. Stripping down the Mini to something like the Apple TV would make it almost useless. Might as well just allow the Apple TV to install macOS!
Absolutely agree! Ports are a must, and I really hope Apple doesn’t cut any more if they make the Mini smaller. It’s already tough needing the M2 Pro for more connectivity. Let’s hope they keep it functional!

Thx for your support! 🙏
Do you think Apple should add more color options to the Mac Mini like they did with the iMac?
Which color would you choose? 🤔

i hope there will be a cooling fan inside
Hopefully, Apple finds a way to include efficient cooling in the new, smaller design!
will be getting one!
with hdmi 2.1 will be perfect to use with my LG OLED
Sounds perfect! 👌🏻
You leave a lot of empty space above your head. Zoom in your frame by 20%. Also amazing content.
Thanks for the good tip! Will do that on my next video 🫡
nice video👍
Thank you! 🙏
If it will be ready until october then we should at least have the specs and 3d picture now.
I'm using M1 Mac mini, but I think it might be time to upgrade. I need more RAM desperately!
will mac mini m4 be launched before the back to school deal ends as m4 chip is released in ipad

Why no M3?

It should be cheaper than the actual one
