So you went back to the oilfields? I'm waiting for my hazmat background and the test before I apply. Was thinking of West Texas since I'm in AZ. Those camps are similar to what I stayed in overseas on deployments.
Oilfield is busy in west tex and ND my company here in Ohio has 15 sand trailers sitting around. Time to move on and make some money. See you on the flip Ill be in Williston on the 21st I will let you know what it is up here. Trying to get into crude hauling seems like they need drivers BAD bringing up lots of tier 2 wells in the Bakken since the price is up and those wells arent on the line.
The way real estate is going these days, I'm surprised people aren't applying just to get in there. My hope is that I can live there as a retirement village.
I'm not bunking with someone lol. North Dakota companies will offer you reimbursement for your own apartment you rent. Not all but most provide housing and can make a deal with you.
What company do you work for because im drilling in nd right now and they dont pay for you to rent a apartment. You stay in camp or provide your own,at least all the companies i worked for
I'm not up there yet. I was planning for this spring but I'm probably going to wait until next spring. I've been researching for over a year and there are companies that will reimburse you for your own apartment. I'm a CDL driver so things may be different if you go to be a hand instead of driving.

7 years Class B tanker experience. Doing OTR now to get Class A experience. How much class A experience to get into the oil field? I have a campervan , i would just need a rv hook up for shore power
Are they like the camps in the military bases in Afghanistan , Bagram or Iraq? Those places were you are are posh compared to some of the military bases overseas Especially FOBs
Thanks. Heading to west Texas next month to my guest man camp. Was in the Navy so it’s not a problem for me.
interesting. I"ve wondered what it looks like in those camps

I stayed at a man camp in Goldsmith/Kermit. It was pretty nice.
I’m here at the Armadillo in Odessa now, way better than this one I made the video about
when i was in the oil field we had apartments and our own private room
I’m a new licensed driver. I haven’t worked for anyone yet. How do I get a job driving in the oilfield? I’m not a kid.

been in a few of those
You don’t say
You have to be kidding, every mining camp i have been in is one to a room has been like that for over 40 years in Australia
But you live in Australia, have less quality of life, and make far less money probably.
@ wrong on both counts you should really leave your house and see the world a bit

Ive been trying to get on an oil field , applying to a bunch . No luck , any recommendations?
What company do you work for, do they accept out of state drivers? I’m in California.
Nicer than Ft. Hood barracks
Will they get me a spider man bed spread?
The best they can do is Barbie.
Hey, Buddy! Quick question... Will the company fly me in to work for them or will I have to pay for my own ticket?
Probably have to get your own ticket down here.
@@WeroLocoTruckingThanks!
Those camps are way moce compared to mine, we dont even get cleaners we have to do that ourselves
Are you going back to oilfield?
Yeah, I’ve never had issues with money out here!
Yes, I’m considering go back
I’m OTR dry van, it’s horrible
Do you know if they hiring now
Im going to get my hazmat next week 🙏
TWO guys in that little room? Man.... there's no privacy. Can't even fart during sleep without hot boxing the roommate.
Not all the oil fields man camp's are like that anymore
Didn't you quit the oilfield and move home to El Paso ?
Are they hiring? I have all endorsements
I’ll ask about that, not 100% sure. I will let you all know if they are.
I'd be interested to if they are hiring. Nicer looking man camps. What is the company and area? Are you hauling crude?
What company is it?
That is ML Construction
And you are paying around $15,000 a year to live in that?
Company pays for it.
Nothing is free. I hear all company housing is subtracted from the workers pay check.@@WeroLocoTrucking
What's the criteria ?..do they hire felons?
If you don’t mind sharing company’s names that I can apply for that offer that
