I remember hearing this back in 2000 when i was 14 and it legit opened my eyes to "Neo Soul", before that i was strictly a hip hop head but man this classic made me fall in love with a whole new genre, that's how good it was. "Golden" is another good one to check out by her.

Let me tell you, Jilly from Philly is so cool and bomb that when you stoped after the 1st break and said "YES" that was my exact reaction when you 1st did her in general, this song is GOLD, this album, is gold, this & Gettin In The Way were the worlds introduction of her (20years ago....2000 does not feel that long ago), Im so glad you got to her, she Christina Aguilera & Jennifer Hudson are imo the best female vocalists of the last 20 years, you're gonna get all kinds of incredible things from her.

Aww thank you Jack. I've been requesting this for a few months. Jill is one of the Queens of neo Soul. What exactly is Neo Soul? It's a Bohemian style of r&b, deep thinking, poetic music, set to live instruments. Angie Stone, Maxwell, Anthony Hamilton are amongst the most popular artist. Anyway Jill is amazing Live! She has a crazy vocal range. I've seen her in concert 2 times. A great singer knows how to tell a story. They know most songs don't always call for crazy vocal acrobatics. Jill can sing Opera, but is not going to burn out her voice doing it all the time.
