@@johnzenthegrey This kind of comment is actually super judgmental, all be it possibly well meaning...it assumes that I'm not seeking help and being lazy about my condition. It's also very bossy and prideful. People with mental illness are worthy of respect and care/consideration in others communications with us. We probably wouldn't be as depressed if society didn't look down on us and make fun of us so frequently on top of the trauma and chemical imbalances we already experience. You're not helping anyone's problems making a statement like this, just trying to assert your pride in being different and it actually disgusts me inherently. I hope you get educated on what mental illness actually is and learn to have respect for the equality of all human beings, because I wouldn't consider explaining it to someone who made a comment this insulting. I mean I guess it's just a friendly thing to just say yeah you do you but most people would probably at least morally think the opposite. Seeing as they would probably be upset if their parent was reading their diary to strangers in a bar somewhere.
