Skullmonary Anarchist The XRay is definitely one of the most cinematic and well designed in the game. His first fatality was just too basic for me tho. I was hoping he would do something unique to being Predator, but instead he simply used the razor disk. I mean, any character could have picked up a razor disk and pushed it through their opponents head, you know what I mean? His second fatality was pretty acceptable tho. Using the Infrared was a nice tough, and finishing it with his shoulder cannon made it perfect. Both were signature moves known to Predator, and that is exactly what I enjoyed. The brutalities tho were even more impressive I think, especially Skinned Alive and Final Kountdown. The animations were very nice and unique and that is exactly what I would hope the money we spend on the game would be going towards. The Predator is indeed a really cool DLC character with very fun variations. Although one of his fatalities was not special, but everything else was really awesome. This time Nether Realms really hit a home-run with this one. You do know that he has a secret brutality, right? I think the move is called "Ugly Mother..." (seriously, it's called that! XD) Such a cool reference. Anyways, its a basic combo that ends with a grab, and if you press the inputs (using PS4 notation, sorry) X, Triangle and Square+X (or L1) and then hold Triangle at the end, he uses his claw to decapitate the opponent, which is really cool way to win, especially if you do a massive combo and end it with this brutality. In fact, there are tonnes of secret characters' and stage interaction brutalities. If its OK, can I kindly suggest you do a tutorial on how to execute all these stage and secret character brutalities? Thanks.

If you try to Google, there are really no good videos describing how to perform all of his brutalities.... Then I stumbled upon your video series. I have been watching all of your brutality videos for the last hour and I gotta say that your production value and detailing in your tutorials is excellent. I started watching from the beginning before you even uploaded this video and was surprised to find you upload it while I have been watching. Predators collect the skulls of there kills to show an accomplish meant and they are extremely serious of maintaining there trophy’s when he destroys the skull it’s a way of saying your not even worth collecting and you weak
Very cool lore Hank. I heard recently they also use parts of the spine for their technology, but that may just be part of the newer Predator movies and I'm not sure if that one is yet to be considered canon.

For me, sometimes just reading the brutality criteria was not enough of an explanation for me to figure it out, but sadly there were not many video that went into detail when it came to explaining them. I decided to practice hard myself, and take those skills to TH-cam so that I could pass on my knowledge as directly as possible. I think speaking and using my facecam helps make the experience more personal and direct for people, and as a result it is almost like I am right there helping to train you as opposed to simply reading back criteria to perform. He has a secret brutality as well, if you hold triangle (X on Xbox maybe?) during the final hit of his ugly mofo combo. You should do a video with all of the secret brutalities and stage brutalities once you've done all of the individual character vids. Keep up the good work!

Your missing 1 brutality, there is a different grab where is with a combo pressing x+a, and the grab is totally different, when you do that as final move, and press up, the grab will cut his head instead of cut the body.

+Justin James Hey there Justin, sorry to hear you are having trouble. There is no "Quick Shot" brutality, so I will assume you are speaking about the "Quick Draw" brutality. In order to perform ANY brutality, you must have it unlocked. I suggest you head over to the Krypt in order to find and unlock it so you can pull it off properly. If you go into the Krypt, and head over to the "Cemetery Grounds" section you can unlock the "Quick Draw" brutality at coordinates (-21, 9) for 9870 Koins. I wish you luck! Let me know if you have any further struggles, and I would be more then happy to help you. Have fun
Two player local VS. I connect a second controller, then just let it sit there while I practice under what the game considers “real” fight conditions. Perfect for learning brutalities.
I enjoy playing as Bo Rai Cho the most, he has been a favorite of mine for a long time haha. I sadly do not have an Xbox, I play MKX on PC actually, using a controller.
So if the opponent has low enough health that the special move / x-Ray will kill, it'll do the Brutality automatically? And also, when doing the X-Ray Brutality, you press LT & RT to activate it, do you proceed to hold on or do you let go and quickly press and hold it down?
Correct Julian, if your opponent's health is low enough, the X-Ray will transition into a brutality. You do NOT need to hold down LT nor RT once the X-Ray is activated, but as you mentioned make sure to immediately start holding down once the animations start so that you have the best chance of getting this to work properly. madhavmandava You are correct. Unfortunately, regardless of my practice with every other character and their Brutalities, Jax and his Ragdoll brutality are what I am struggling with myself. I am waiting till I can come up with a perfected way of doing it so everyone else who watches the video can also perform it with little to no trouble. Keep an eye out, it will come in time, I just cannot say when exactly.

Hey John. Here are some tips I can offer that may aid you. As mentioned in the video, when you go to perform this X-Ray, make sure your opponents HP is low enough so that when Predator throws the disk, it does enough damage to kill the opponent. As for when you hold down, I usually do so right after I have hit the back triggers to activate my X-Ray. There is a brief couple moments between hitting that X-Ray and actually transitioning into the cinematic x-ray view where I find is a good time to start holding down. To sum that up, hold immediately after you tart the X-Ray, but also before the cinematic camera takes control. I hope that makes sense. Let me know if you manage to pull it off as desired. Jay K. When holding directions it can vary. Usually you will want to hold the proper direction the very second you have finished putting in the command for your final hit, and usually just a split second before your character comes into contact with the opponent. There is indeed a secret Brutality called "El Diablo" for Predator. If you would like to see how to perform that, please refer to my other video which covers Secret Brutalities. Hey i have been predator for a while now and i wanted to know when do i hold down for his anytime brutality i've been trying to figure out since i played him.
darksonic232x You are going to want to make sure to hold down the very moment your Xray is activated. Also, make positive sure that your opponent has low enough health so that when Predator hurls the razor disk into their neck, it will kill them, or rather have depleted their entire health bar.
Isaac Stevenson You better damn believe it haha. Tremor has been the character I have personally been looking forward to most. Something about an Earth and Rock style Ninja just sounds so badass to me. Keep your eyes peeled for when he is released because I will no doubt be posting a video with him ASAP.
Bogart Castillo As far as I understand, it will not be available for use until the patch that releases Tremor. I heard they put in a patch that allows you to see things like Tremor, Klassic Costumes, and Klassic Fatalities but they are all still locked.
For my brutality tutorials I like my opponent to be standing still so that I can properly explain what to do without getting murdered in the process haha. To do this, I connect a second controller, and then head to Two Player Local VS. This way my opponent will hold still, but still allow me to practice brutalities since it is considered a legit match by the games standards. Some say you can also use Kustom Kombat to practice brutalities, but personally I use the local VS method. Good luck!

You generally would buy MKX on Steam if you were going for the PC platform, and Steam has never been known to charge players for their online services other then of course directly purchasing new games. I must warn you tho, PC does not yet have Kombat Pack 2 including four of the new character which is unfortunate. But to answer your base question, yes it's free.
Therandomguy ; - Gotcha. Frankly I'd say the console editions are better because they have the new updated Online engine, and they have access to Kombat Pack 2 while us PC users are left in the dark age sadly.
+Aryan Tanesh - Sadly, Predator can only be unlocked by purchasing him from the "Predator and Prey Pack" off of the PSN/Xbox/Steam stores based on your respective console. Tho personally I would recommend you just buy the "Kombat Pack" DLC if you want Predator. It is a little more expensive, but you end up getting four characters for the price of three and about 8 costumes as well which is a great deal. I wish they were unlockable through normal means, but you know how the gaming industry is nowadays with their additional money transactions down the road.

It is possible you are one of the effected people, in which case I would say just give it a little time and I think they will patch and fix the problem very soon.

If anything, check the Xbox Store to see if Predator is available for download, or perhaps try reinstalling the Kombat Pack. If neither of those ideas work, then patience will be your best bet.

When do you hold the down arrow, I used the anytime like 20 Times and the disc never cuts the head off? And I be holding down arrow through the whole x Ray. This move is impossible, can you explain this a little better? I really want to learn this brutality. I tried and tried and I cannot do it ugggh
Lori Lover Hi Lori, sorry to hear you are having trouble. From the sounds of it, you are doing everything correctly for the most part. Make sure the very split second you activate your XRay, you are holding down IMMEDIATELY after. Also, your opponent tends to require lower amounts of health to make the Brutality work correctly. What I would recommend is that on Round 2 (Or 3 if the fight goes that long) is that you make sure your opponents health is low, maybe about 25% or even 20% health left would be a good amount to aim for. You can easily measure these with the slight marks made in the health bars as they go down, and you will obviously notice there are many more marks at the lower amount of the health bar, about 5 if I am counting correctly. Try to activate and hit your opponent with your Xray just as these marks on the health bar are being reached. To sum all of that up, you basically want it so when you go to use the Xray on your opponent, they have about 25% health remaining, and you want it so by the time Predator throws the disc into their neck, their entire health bar will have been depleted. I hope this helped in one way or another, and I hope it was not too confusing. If you have any further struggles, feel free to let me know and I will do my best to assist you. Good Luck!

madmikedx You are correct, I had indeed uploaded a video with Stage Fatalities, but I took it down because i realized I was missing too many for me to feel comfortable with. I will be doing both Secret, and Stage Brutality videos once Tremor is realized because by then, it will probably be a while until they release anything new that I would have to cover.

Your missing 1 brutality, there is a different grab where is with a combo pressing x+a, and the grab is totally different, when you do that as final move, and press up, the grab will cut his head instead of cut the body.

+Justin James Hey there Justin, sorry to hear you are having trouble. There is no "Quick Shot" brutality, so I will assume you are speaking about the "Quick Draw" brutality. In order to perform ANY brutality, you must have it unlocked. I suggest you head over to the Krypt in order to find and unlock it so you can pull it off properly. If you go into the Krypt, and head over to the "Cemetery Grounds" section you can unlock the "Quick Draw" brutality at coordinates (-21, 9) for 9870 Koins. I wish you luck! Correct Julian, if your opponent's health is low enough, the X-Ray will transition into a brutality. You do NOT need to hold down LT nor RT once the X-Ray is activated, but as you mentioned make sure to immediately start holding down once the animations start so that you have the best chance of getting this to work properly. madhavmandava You are correct. Unfortunately, regardless of my practice with every other character and their Brutalities, Jax and his Ragdoll brutality are what I am struggling with myself. I am waiting till I can come up with a perfected way of doing it so everyone else who watches the video can also perform it with little to no trouble. Keep an eye out, it will come in time, I just cannot say when exactly.

I appreciate the compliment, it is a positive feeling when the work I put into these videos gets even minor recognition, not because it boosts my ego, but because it helps prove to me that these videos are indeed helping people, which is my exact goal with tutorials like this. I figured in a world of tutorials that are usually made of just footage and text, I would give it a little extra flair with some live commemoration and video feed. I'm still having trouble getting his xray brutality. Do you hold down from the start or right before the final animation?
Hey John. Here are some tips I can offer that may aid you. As mentioned in the video, when you go to perform this X-Ray, make sure your opponents HP is low enough so that when Predator throws the disk, it does enough damage to kill the opponent. As for when you hold down, I usually do so right after I have hit the back triggers to activate my X-Ray. There is a brief couple moments between hitting that X-Ray and actually transitioning into the cinematic x-ray view where I find is a good time to start holding down. To sum that up, hold immediately after you tart the X-Ray, but also before the cinematic camera takes control. I hope that makes sense. Let me know if you manage to pull it off as desired. Jay K. When holding directions it can vary. Usually you will want to hold the proper direction the very second you have finished putting in the command for your final hit, and usually just a split second before your character comes into contact with the opponent. There is indeed a secret Brutality called "El Diablo" for Predator. If you would like to see how to perform that, please refer to my other video which covers Secret Brutalities. Hey i have been predator for a while now and i wanted to know when do i hold down for his anytime brutality i've been trying to figure out since i played him.
darksonic232x You are going to want to make sure to hold down the very moment your Xray is activated. Also, make positive sure that your opponent has low enough health so that when Predator hurls the razor disk into their neck, it will kill them, or rather have depleted their entire health bar.

Bogart Castillo As far as I understand, it will not be available for use until the patch that releases Tremor. I heard they put in a patch that allows you to see things like Tremor, Klassic Costumes, and Klassic Fatalities but they are all still locked.
How do you unlock brutality
What mode does he play on?
For my brutality tutorials I like my opponent to be standing still so that I can properly explain what to do without getting murdered in the process haha. To do this, I connect a second controller, and then head to Two Player Local VS. This way my opponent will hold still, but still allow me to practice brutalities since it is considered a legit match by the games standards. Some say you can also use Kustom Kombat to practice brutalities, but personally I use the local VS method. Good luck!

You generally would buy MKX on Steam if you were going for the PC platform, and Steam has never been known to charge players for their online services other then of course directly purchasing new games. I must warn you tho, PC does not yet have Kombat Pack 2 including four of the new character which is unfortunate. But to answer your base question, yes it's free.

+Aryan Tanesh - Sadly, Predator can only be unlocked by purchasing him from the "Predator and Prey Pack" off of the PSN/Xbox/Steam stores based on your respective console. Tho personally I would recommend you just buy the "Kombat Pack" DLC if you want Predator. It is a little more expensive, but you end up getting four characters for the price of three and about 8 costumes as well which is a great deal. I wish they were unlockable through normal means, but you know how the gaming industry is nowadays with their additional money transactions down the road.

It is possible you are one of the effected people, in which case I would say just give it a little time and I think they will patch and fix the problem very soon.

I try to cover all normal brutalities for each character first, and then I like to make Secret Brutality videos later on in the series so I can do multiple characters in one video. When do you hold the down arrow, I used the anytime like 20 Times and the disc never cuts the head off? And I be holding down arrow through the whole x Ray. This move is impossible, can you explain this a little better? I really want to learn this brutality. I tried and tried and I cannot do it ugggh
Lori Lover Hi Lori, sorry to hear you are having trouble. From the sounds of it, you are doing everything correctly for the most part. Make sure the very split second you activate your XRay, you are holding down IMMEDIATELY after. Also, your opponent tends to require lower amounts of health to make the Brutality work correctly. What I would recommend is that on Round 2 (Or 3 if the fight goes that long) is that you make sure your opponents health is low, maybe about 25% or even 20% health left would be a good amount to aim for. You can easily measure these with the slight marks made in the health bars as they go down, and you will obviously notice there are many more marks at the lower amount of the health bar, about 5 if I am counting correctly. Try to activate and hit your opponent with your Xray just as these marks on the health bar are being reached. To sum all of that up, you basically want it so when you go to use the Xray on your opponent, they have about 25% health remaining, and you want it so by the time Predator throws the disc into their neck, their entire health bar will have been depleted.
